Abstract

This piece of research is referred to as "Strategic Training and Development: Integration and Contingency for High Quality." In the context of training and development (T&D) for employees, the goals of this study were to provide an overview of the process of strategy formulation, an overview of the process of strategy implementation, an account of the process of strategy evaluation, and an overview of how to measure the success of the implementation. The qualitative research approaches were applied in this case study. Interviews, observations, and documentation were the three methods that were used to collect data. The key sources of information consisted of six different supervisors and staff. The data were analyzed using analyses performed both before and during the fieldwork. The validity test was conducted by combining the credibility test with the transferability test. According to the findings of this study, the process of formulating a strategy in T&D is characterized by the following: the relationship between strategic objectives and the organization's mission; the needs assessments conducted by the department; guest opinions; government regulation or policy action; and financial and budgetary concerns. The description of the implementation strategy in T&D was a cross-hierarchy task that required the performance of a series of processes, including program development, budgeting, and the procedure to follow the organization's strategies that had been designed to achieve synergy. The T&D strategy detailed an evaluation procedure that included evaluating the field performance of the company, customer input, and revenue from the company's products and services. The T&D approach is stated as a success indication of increased revenue, satisfied customers, and a reduction in negative feedback.

Abstract

Based on self-determination theory, this study identified the effect of conscientiousness on the affective commitment to change of lecturers in Indonesian universities. This study empirically examined the uniqueness of conscientiousness which is strongest and most consistently associated with various outcomes. The mediation effect of psychological ownership of lecturers was also examined. A total of 321 responses were analyzed using a two-stage structural equation modeling (SEM) approach to confirm factors and test the study hypotheses. The results showed that the level of conscientiousness had a significant effect on psychological ownership. Conscientiousness had a significant indirect effect on affective commitment to change only through the psychological ownership of the lecturers. These results support the mediating role of lecturers' psychological ownership level in explaining the influence between conscientiousness and the level of affective commitment to change for lecturers.

Abstract

This study examines the creation of the colossal dance Sawah Solok: Heritage in the Heart of the City as an artistic response to agrarian life and food security in Solok City, West Sumatra. Employing a practice-based research approach, the study positions dance creation as a form of cultural knowledge production rooted in local agricultural practices. The research aims to analyze how agrarian activities—such as rice cultivation, field maintenance, and harvest traditions—are transformed into choreographic structures that articulate social values, collective memory, and cultural resilience. Data were generated through field observations in urban rice fields, interviews with farmers and cultural actors, documentation of the creative process, and reflective analysis by the choreographer. The creative process follows Alma M. Hawkins’ stages of exploration, improvisation, and formation, enabling embodied experiences of agrarian labor to be translated into movement vocabulary, spatial design, and performance structure. The findings reveal that food security is represented not merely as an economic issue, but as a cultural and ethical commitment embedded in communal cooperation and adat values. This study contributes to contemporary dance discourse by demonstrating how agrarian practices and food security narratives can be integrated into colossal dance performances situated in public space.
