Abstract

Verifikasi artinya pemeriksaan tentang suatu kebenaran atas laporan, pernyataan, dan lain-lain. Verifikasi dalam pengembangan ini tetap memiliki makna yang sama namun pemeriksaan dalam konteks pengembangan alat ukur ini lebih spesifiknya yaitu melakukan pengujian pada alat ukur yang dikembangkan sehingga alat ukur psikologi tersebut dapat dipercaya keabsahannya. Menurut penjelasan tersebut maka dalam tahap penyusunan skala psikologi, verifikasi ini berada dalam tahapan analisis item. Karena analisis item merupakan proses pengujian parameter-parameter item guna mengetahui apakah item memenuhi persyaratan psikometris untuk disertakan sebagai bagian dari skala. Dalam prosedur konstruksi atau penyusunan tes, diawali dengan pengujian karakteristik masing-masing item (daya diskriminasi item, kesukaran item, dan efektivitas distraktor) yang akan menjadi bagian tes yang bersangkutan kemudian diakhiri pengujian estimasi terhadap validitas dan reliabilitas. Secara singkat, pengujian-pengujian tersebut atau analisis item yang dilakukan tersebut adalah salah satu implikasi dalam penerapan pandangan filsafat positivisme yaitu verifikasi dalam pengembangan alat ukur psikologi. Verification means checking the truth of reports, statements, and others. Verification in this development still has the same meaning, but the examination in the context of the development of this measuring instrument is more specific, namely testing the measuring instrument developed so that the psychological measuring instrument can be trusted for its validity. According to this explanation, in the stage of preparing the psychological scale, this verification is in the item analysis stage. Because item analysis is the process of testing item parameters to find out whether the item meets the psychometric requirements to be included as part of the scale. In the construction procedure or test preparation, it begins with testing the characteristics of each item (item discrimination power, item difficulty, and distractor effectiveness) which will be part of the test concerned and then ends with testing estimates of validity and reliability. In short, the tests or item analysis carried out is one of the implications in the application of the positivist philosophical view, namely verification in the development of psychological measuring tools.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of hustle culture and work pressure on the work-life balance of Gen-Z employees in Karawang Regency. The approach used in this study is quantitative, through a non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling. The study population includes 587,125 individuals from Generation Z in the region. Based on Isaac and Michael's formula, the sample size was 349 respondents. Data analysis procedures include item analysis, reliability, classical assumption checking, hypothesis, categorization test along with the difference test. The study results indicate that hustle culture and work stress have a significant impact on work-life balance, both partially and simultaneously. Hustle culture displays a negative impact on work-life balance, meaning that the higher the level of hustle culture faced by individuals, the lower the perceived work-life balance. Conversely, job stress shows a positive correlation to work-life balance, meaning that an increase in job stress can go hand in hand with an increase in work-life balance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adverse childhood experiencess and social support on self-harm behavior among adolescents from broken homes. The study sample consisted of 204 participants, including 65 males and 139 females aged between 13 and 21 years old residing in Karawang Regency. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling, which involves selecting participants based on their availability and ease of access. Data collection was conducted using a quantitative approach with three main instruments: the Self-harm Inventory (SHI) to measure self-harm behavior, the Adverse childhood experiences Questionnaire (ACE-Q) to measure adverse childhood experiencess, and the Social Provisions Scale (SPS) to measure perceptions of social support. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis indicated that adverse childhood experiencess significantly influenced self-harm behavior (significance value = 0.00; p < 0.05). However, social support did not have a significant influence on self-harm behavior (significance value = 0.187; p > 0.05). These findings indicate that adverse childhood experiencess play an important role in the development of self-harm behavior, while social support may not be sufficient to reduce the tendency toward self-harm behavior among adolescents from broken homes in Karawang.

Abstract

Teenage girls are vulnerable to body dissatisfaction due to beauty standards shaped by the media and social environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of self-concept and social support on body image among teenage girls in Karawang, as well as the simultaneous influence of both on body image among teenage girls in Karawang. The research method used a quantitative approach with a causal design. The sample consisted of 348 adolescent female respondents obtained through non-probability sampling using incidental sampling. The research instruments included the Self-Concept Scale to measure self-concept, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support, and the Body Image Scale to measure body image. All instruments underwent validity and reliability testing with satisfactory results. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence of self-concept on body image, a significant influence of social support on body image, and a significant simultaneous influence of self-concept and social support on body image among adolescent girls in Karawang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Community Service Program (KKN) on students’ mental well-being. A descriptive qualitative method was applied using observation and questionnaires administered to 23 student participants in Mekarbuana Village. The findings reveal significant changes in students’ emotional and psychological aspects, where initial feelings of worry, anxiety, and nervousness shifted to confidence, enthusiasm, and motivation after participation. A total of 100% of respondents reported changes in their mindset, and 95.65% stated that they had specific experiences that affected their emotions, either positively or stressfully. Furthermore, active involvement in project implementation, positive social interactions both within the group and with the community, and demonstrated leadership strengthened students’ adaptability and resilience. These results highlight that KKN contributes not only to community engagement but also to enhancing mental well-being, character building, and social awareness among students. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) terhadap kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui pengamatan dan kuesioner kepada 23 mahasiswa peserta KKN di Desa Mekarbuana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan dalam aspek emosi dan psikologis mahasiswa, di mana perasaan khawatir, cemas, dan gugup sebelum kegiatan bergeser menjadi lebih percaya diri, antusias, dan bersemangat setelah kegiatan. Sebanyak 100% responden melaporkan adanya perubahan pola pikir dan 95,65% menyatakan pengalaman tertentu yang memengaruhi perasaan mereka, baik positif maupun penuh tekanan. Selain itu, keterlibatan dalam program kerja, interaksi sosial antaranggota maupun dengan masyarakat, serta sikap kepemimpinan yang ditunjukkan memperkuat peran mahasiswa sebagai individu yang adaptif dan resilien. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa KKN berkontribusi bukan hanya pada pengabdian masyarakat, tetapi juga pada penguatan mental, pembentukan karakter, dan peningkatan kesadaran sosial mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social support and student subjective well-being on school engagement of female students at Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. In this study, the research method used is quantitative involving 90 female students as respondents. Data were collected through a scale that measures the level of school engagement, namely the school engagement scale, social support, namely the perceived social support, and student subjective well-being, namely the student subjective well-being questionnaire. The results of the study showed a significant value of the social support variable of 0.208 > 0.05, which means there is no influence of social support on school engagement of female students at Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. The significant value of student subjective well-being is 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is an influence of student subjective well-being on school engagement of female students at Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. Then simultaneously social support and student subjective well-being showed a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is an influence of social support and student subjective well-being simultaneously on school engagement of female students at Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. The magnitude of the influence of social support and student subjective well-being on school engagement in female students at Aisyah Islamic Boarding School is 56.9%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial dan student subjective well-being terhadap school engagement santriwati di Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif yang melibatkan 90 santriwati sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala yang mengukur tingkat school engagement yaitu school engagement scale, dukungan sosial yaitu the perceived social suport, dan student subjective well-being yaitu student subjective well-being questionnare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikan dari variabel dukungan sosial sebesar 0.208 > 0.05, yang artinya tidak ada pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap school engagement santriwati Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. Nilai signifikan dari student subjective well-being adalah sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, yang artinya ada pengaruh student subjective well-being terhadap school engagement santriwati Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. Kemudian secara simultan dukungan sosial dan student subjective well-being menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, yang artinya ada pengaruh dukungan sosial dan student subjective well-being secara bersamaan terhadap school engagement santriwati Aisyah Islamic Boarding School. Besaran pengaruh dukungan sosial dan student subjective well-being terhadap school engagament pada santriwati Aisyah Islamic Boarding School adalah sebesar 56.9%.
