Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan Media Fotografi bagi UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya merupakan respon dari pihak terkait. Di tengah kondisi ketidakpastian saat ini, pemerintah Indonesia terus menerus mendukung UMKM agar terus berinovasi. Saat New Normal sekarang ini, keadaan tidak menjadi lebih baik daripada masa pandemic sebelumnya. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang, berkomitmen untuk selalu berusaha melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat secara berkesinambungan sebagai bentuk kepedulian civitas akademika untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang bermaksud menjalin kerjasama dengan UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya dengan skema pelayanan internal yaitu: 1) Memberikan gambaran mengenai UMKM.  2). Memberikan keterampilan fotografi umum. 3). Mendorong dan membimbing peserta agar  menjadi lebih baik orang-orang yang mandiri dan mempunyai kemampuan mengaplikasikan fotografi pada bisnisnya, baik bisnis yang sudah ada maupun yang akan datang.. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan Media Fotografi ini adalah Metode Sosialisasi dan Ceramah, Metode Demonstrasi & Bimbingan & Metode Partisipatif. Kegiatan pelatihan UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya, para peserta dapat membuat Foto Produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis sehingga dapat diaplikasikan ke E-Commerce dan dapat bersaing baik di tingkat lokal, nasional bahkan internasional. The Role of Karang Taruna in Strengthening MSMEs Through Photography Media in Sukajaya Village Photography Media training activities for MSMEs in Sukajaya Village are a response from related parties. In the midst of current conditions of uncertainty, the Indonesian government continues to support MSMEs to continue to innovate. During the current New Normal, the situation is no better than during the previous pandemic. Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang is committed to always trying to provide continuous community service as a form of concern for the academic community to improve the quality of life of the community. Therefore, the Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang Community Service Team intends to collaborate with MSMEs in Sukajaya Village with an internal service scheme, namely: 1) Providing an overview of MSMEs. 2). Provides general photography skills. 3). Encourage and guide participants to become better people who are independent and have the ability to apply photography to their business, both existing and future businesses. The methods used in this Photography Media training activity are the Socialization and Lecture Method, Demonstration Method & Guidance & Participatory Methods. MSME training activities in Sukajaya Village, participants can create product photos that have economic value so that they can be applied to E-Commerce and can compete at local, national and even international levels.

Abstract

The impact of textile waste is a serious problem for health and the environment. Generation Z often chooses to throw away clothes rather than looking for ways to reuse them and not many are aware that these used items can be recycled into items that have benefits and economic value. Generation Z's lack of awareness of the dangers of textile waste and lack of education about upcycling methods are the main problems in this design. Therefore, it is necessary to design a campaign video that can widely reach Generation Z with the aim of making it easier to provide information about upcycling methods and providing awareness of the dangers of textile waste. The main aim of the design is to provide information about how important it is to use used clothing waste in the city of Palembang, to raise awareness and encourage that used clothing waste can be put to good use. Apart from being useful for protecting the environment, used clothing waste can also produce positive feedback from its use.Keywords : Textile waste, Upcycling, Clothing, Campaign Videos.
