Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan Motion Graphic di SMK Negeri 2 Banyuasin merupakan respon dari pihak terkait. Di tengah kondisi pandemi ini, industri kreatif terus digalakan oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Bidang Multimedia memiliki kesempatan tersendiri saat ini, dikarenakan pandemi yang menyerang Indonesia berakibat perubahan gaya hidup masyarakatnya. Akibat pandemi,masyarakat Indonesia lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan daring/online karena melalui daring masyarakat masih dapat beraktivitas sehari-hari,dari bekerja, belajar (sekolah) hingga menikmati hiburan. Maka dari itu Multimedia berperan penting dalam gaya hidup saat pandemi ini. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) Palembang, berkomitmen untuk selalu berusaha melakukan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat secara terus menerus sebagai wujud kepedulian insan akademik terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Untuk itu Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indo Global madiri (UIGM ) Palembang bermaksud menjalin kemitraan dengan SMK Negeri 2 Banyuasin dengan skema pengabdian internal, yaitu 1) Memberikan wawasan mengenai Motion Graphic dan pengetahuan mengenai perkembangan industri kreatif. 2) Memberikan keterampilan Motion Graphic bambu terhadap peserta pelatihan. 3) Memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan dalam pembuatan Motion Graphic. 4) Meningkatkan keterampilan bagi peserta yang sudah memiliki basic dasar dalam multimedia. 5) 5. Memberikan motivasi dan kiat-kiat kepada peserta agar dapat menjadi desainer yang mandiri dan mampu memproduksi Motion Graphic secara berkala.

Abstract

Poster sebagai sebuah media berfungsi untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat luas dengan tujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran dan mampu mengubah prilaku masyarakat ke arah yang lebih baik untuk kepentingan bersama atau bersifat sosial. Kementerian Pariwisata Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia (Kemenparekraf RI ) ‘Yuk Kurangi Sampah Plastik Mu!’ dan tidak menutup kemungkinan dari hasil peninjauan terhadap unsur visual ditemukan suatu pemaknaan melalui pesan visual atau verbal yang diinformasikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meninjau aspek-aspek visual pada desain poster Iklan Layanan Masyarakat konsep ide dan gagasan merepresentasikan konsep didasari dengan kebiasaan membuang sampah sembarangan bagi para turisme lokal yang berkunjung ke tempat- tempat objek wisata. Secara umum, persoalan sampah sangat rumit dan sulit diatasi, hal ini dikarenakan kebiasaan masyarakat yang sering membuang sampah sembarangan. Maka dari itu, Kemenparekraf RI merancang sebuah poster Iklan Layanan Masyarakat yang unsur visualnya mampu environment sustainability). Berdasarkan tinjauan unsur visual poster ini sudah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip desain grafis yang baik, sehingga pesan dan informasi yang disampaikan mudah dimengerti.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan Media Fotografi bagi UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya merupakan respon dari pihak terkait. Di tengah kondisi ketidakpastian saat ini, pemerintah Indonesia terus menerus mendukung UMKM agar terus berinovasi. Saat New Normal sekarang ini, keadaan tidak menjadi lebih baik daripada masa pandemic sebelumnya. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang, berkomitmen untuk selalu berusaha melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat secara berkesinambungan sebagai bentuk kepedulian civitas akademika untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang bermaksud menjalin kerjasama dengan UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya dengan skema pelayanan internal yaitu: 1) Memberikan gambaran mengenai UMKM.  2). Memberikan keterampilan fotografi umum. 3). Mendorong dan membimbing peserta agar  menjadi lebih baik orang-orang yang mandiri dan mempunyai kemampuan mengaplikasikan fotografi pada bisnisnya, baik bisnis yang sudah ada maupun yang akan datang.. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan Media Fotografi ini adalah Metode Sosialisasi dan Ceramah, Metode Demonstrasi & Bimbingan & Metode Partisipatif. Kegiatan pelatihan UMKM di Kelurahan Sukajaya, para peserta dapat membuat Foto Produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis sehingga dapat diaplikasikan ke E-Commerce dan dapat bersaing baik di tingkat lokal, nasional bahkan internasional. The Role of Karang Taruna in Strengthening MSMEs Through Photography Media in Sukajaya Village Photography Media training activities for MSMEs in Sukajaya Village are a response from related parties. In the midst of current conditions of uncertainty, the Indonesian government continues to support MSMEs to continue to innovate. During the current New Normal, the situation is no better than during the previous pandemic. Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang is committed to always trying to provide continuous community service as a form of concern for the academic community to improve the quality of life of the community. Therefore, the Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang Community Service Team intends to collaborate with MSMEs in Sukajaya Village with an internal service scheme, namely: 1) Providing an overview of MSMEs. 2). Provides general photography skills. 3). Encourage and guide participants to become better people who are independent and have the ability to apply photography to their business, both existing and future businesses. The methods used in this Photography Media training activity are the Socialization and Lecture Method, Demonstration Method & Guidance & Participatory Methods. MSME training activities in Sukajaya Village, participants can create product photos that have economic value so that they can be applied to E-Commerce and can compete at local, national and even international levels.

Abstract

Dengan berkembangnya pemasaran digital, para pengusaha jasa perlu memanfaatkan promosi digital, termasuk penggunaan logo sebagai identitas merek dan penerapannya pada media promosi. Logo sebagai identitas visual penting untuk memudahkan target pasar mengenali dan mengidentifikasi merek. Pure Management, yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan musik rohani, menghadapi tantangan dalam hal ini karena kurangnya divisi promosi dan desain grafis. Akibatnya, penggunaan logo sebagai identitas visual sering terabaikan, mempengaruhi citra perusahaan di mata publik. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Pure Management mengadakan pelatihan kolaboratif dengan tim pengabdian masyarakat tentang penerapan logo pada media promosi yang baik. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode design thinking lima tahap: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mendidik Pure Management tentang pentingnya penggunaan logo sebagai identitas organisasi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengenalan dan penggunaan oleh target pasar. Kegiatan ini juga berfungsi sebagai pembelajaran dasar desain komunikasi visual bagi masyarakat umum mengenai pentingnya logo. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas merek Pure Management dan media promosi lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya sebuah logo yang mampu menjadi identitas visual Pure Management atas dasar pemikiran bersama mulai dari konsep hingga hasil akhir, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya wawasan para peserta akan proses pembuatan logo berdasarkan sudut pandang keilmuan desain komunikasi visual, dan lebih dikenalnya Pure Management di kalangan Masyarakat. Logo Design Workshop as Visual Identity Pure Management Palembang Abstract With the development of digital marketing, service entrepreneurs need to utilize digital promotion, including the use of logos as brand identity and their application in promotional media. Logos as visual identities are essential to make it easier for the target market to recognize and identify the brand. Pure Management, which operates in the field of religious music services, faces challenges in this regard due to the lack of a promotion and graphic design division. As a result, the use of logos as visual identities is often neglected, affecting the company's image in the public eye. To address this issue, Pure Management held a collaborative training with the community service team on the proper application of logos in promotional media. This training uses the five stages of the design thinking method: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The goal of this community service is to educate Pure Management about the importance of using logos as the correct organizational identity to increase recognition and usage by the target market. This activity also serves as a basic learning experience in visual communication design for the general public regarding the importance of logos. It is hoped that this training can continue to improve the quality of the Pure Management brand and other promotional media. The result of this activity is the creation of a logo that can serve as the visual identity of Pure Management based on shared ideas from concept to final result, which impacts the participants' understanding of the logo creation process from a visual communication design perspective, and increases the recognition of Pure Management in the community.

Abstract

Abstract : Bangka Belitung has one of the unique beach tourism such as Tanjung Kalian Beach. Tanjung Kalian Beach is a natural tourism and historical tour in Bangka Belitung Province, precisely on the island of Bangka. The uniqueness of Tanjung Kalian Beach has a lighthouse icon. A lighthouse is a tower building with a light source at the top to aid ship navigation. The lighthouse is also a silent witness to the occurrence of World War II at Tanjung Kalian Beach. To preserve the history of the lighthouse and World War II and provide information on the beauty of Tanjung Kalian Beach. So, it is necessary for designers to promote Tanjung Kalian Beach as a tourist icon of Bangka Belitung. This design method uses Design Thinking. Design thinking is a tool used in a problem solving, in the process using 5W+2H analysis. The main design media uses documentary videos that are packaged using virtual reality. The design of the Tanjung Kalian Beach promotion was carried out with the aim that the public would become familiar with Tanjung Kalian Beach and become a reference for people's holiday spots to Tanjung Kalian Beach so that it would be known to the public as a tourism icon of Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Abstract: Corn is a well-known staple food in Indonesia, and its high consumption results in a lot of natural waste, such as corn husks and corn cobs. According to the Infopublic.id website, South Sumatra is listed as the fifth largest corn producer in Indonesia, with a corn farming area of 112,000 hectares and a total corn production of 707,546 tons. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the people of Palembang do not know that corn plant waste can be reused other than being used as animal feed. In the process of overcoming these problems, the author uses the design thinking method through the 5W+1H method (what, why, who, where, why, how) for data collection and data analysis so as to produce a model that can be applied to actual scenario ideas. The main media used is a tutorial book on the utilization of corn husk waste, which includes information on the utilization of corn husk waste and tutorials on processing corn husk waste, news media such as posters, peeling of husks, and supporting media such as t-shirts, glasses, stickers, mini notebooks, hanging clothing, handicraft supply containers, decorative flowers, decorative lights, and mascots, which.

Abstract

Abstract : Fatherless is a condition of the absence of a father both physically and psychologically in the development of a child. The statement from the minister of social affairs in 2017 regarding the fact that Indonesia is the 3rd fatherless country in the world is one of the factors behind the author in choosing this topic. The purpose of this social campaign is to provide information to fathers and prospective fathers regarding fatherless facts, the second purpose is to sensitize fathers to be maximally involved in nurturing and educating children, another goal is to help in building a harmonious family in Palembang City. The method used in this design is design thinking which consists of emphatize, define, ideate, prototype and test. The selection of media includes, board games, x banners, posters, video reels, Instagram feeds, catalogs, t-shirts, mugs, multifunctional photo frames, hats, key chains and stickers which are expected to be communicative media in helping to establish harmonious relationships between father and son in Palembang City.

Abstract

Abstract: The fulfillment of individual life needs cannot be separated from people's consumption of an item. But along with the times, the behavior patterns of people who originally shopped to meet their needs changed to shopping beyond their needs, which is often called consumerism. The existence of consumerism in society is supported by the development of a modern era that has an impact on lifestyle changes. Therefore, a social campaign was carried out to implement a minimalist lifestyle in reducing consumptive behavior and impulse shopping. This design uses the Design Thinking method which consists of Emphatize (understanding the problem), Define (analyzing data), Ideate (determining concept ideas), Prototype (visualizing ideas), and Test ( testing the results) so that the results of designing a media work are obtained namely the main media in the form of motion graphics, issue media in the form of posters, infographics, x-banners, Instagram feeds, catalogs, and supporting media in the form of keychains, rags, beeswax wrap, t-shirts, tumblers, tote bags and notebooks. With this social campaign, it is expected to provide information about a minimalist lifestyle applied in everyday life and can be wiser in buying goods according to their functions.

Abstract

Abstract: This research based on data from the Palembang City HealthOffice, 27,475 men and 34,000 women affected by diabetes in 2021. This data shows an increase in diabetes so that it can be formulated in this design is how efforts to reduce of diabetes by consuming Brotowali, especially for adolescents in the city of Palembang. Consuming and processing Brotowali is designed interactive books with interesting illustrations and interactives and teaches reading while playing. This study uses the AISAS design method for data collection and data analysis through the 5W + 2H method so as to produce an idea that can be applied at the test stage for adolescents in Palembang and with questionnaire and interview techniques. Respondents in this study were 101 people. The works created are categorized into three media, the main media interactive books, media issues, posters, brochures, xbanners, motion graphics and supporting media, t-shirts, tumblers, stickers, key chains, pencil boxes, wall clocks, totebags, mascots, standing pouches, packaging. This design uses Brotowali illustrations which have characteristic thorny stems and love-shaped leaves, so that teenagers in the city of Palembang are more interested in consuming and processing Brotowali.

Abstract

Abstract (10 pt): When you drink young coconut water, it is very fresh and has a sweet taste because it contains sugar. Apart from that, it has a number of macro and microminerals. Coconut water also contains vitamins and protein, although in small amounts. Young coconut water contains water protein, arginine, alanine, cysteine and serine, which are four types of high amino acids. Young coconut water contains a number of complete nutrients and is beneficial for body health. The nutritional content of young coconut water is protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin C, vitamin B complex, sugar, electrolytes and growth hormone. The types of sugar contained in young coconut water are sucrose, glucose, fructose and sorbitol. Designing a social campaign for the benefits of young coconut water for body health in Palembang City using video. By designing the video in this campaign, the author hopes that the public will know the many benefits of young coconut water for body health through the main media that will be designed by the author in the form of video motion graphics and supporting media such as calendars, books, posters, videos and branding. This campaign media will be made as attractive as possible so that people are interested in reading the information and education presented.
