Abstract

Adolescent girls are a vulnerable group who can experience anemia due to low consumption and absorption of iron, blood loss during menstruation, and increased iron requirements. Anemia can cause impaired growth and health status as well as decreasing academic performance and cognitive development. Education regarding nutrition and screening for adolescent girls is an appropriate, effective, and sustainable method for preventing anemia due to iron deficiency. Therefore, in this community service activity, a combination of education and screening is carried out to prevent the development of anemia in adolescent girls at MTs Nurul Falah Areman. The community service was carried out using the lecture method and filling out a questionnaire in the form of a pretest and post-test to assess the increase in knowledge consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. The result obtained from 53 students showed that 52,8% had good knowledge regarding anemia and 47,2% had poor knowledge. Based on an examination of Hb levels, 25% of adolescent girls fall into the category of moderate and mild anemia. Education regarding anemia should be carried out routinely at MTs Nurul Falah Areman. Furthermore, MTs Nurul Falah Areman can be a target for blood supplement tablets from the nearest Community Health Center, so that in the future no more young women will be found suffering from anemia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberian senam pilates terhadap nyeri pada ibu pasca melahirkan dengan keluhan pelvic girdle pain. Metode : Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan one goup pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh wanita pasca melahirkan di kelurahan Kuningan Barat, Jakarta Selatan dengan keluhan pelvic girdle pain. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability yaitu purposive sampel. Peneliti menggunakan sampel minimal sebanyak 10 orang dimana peneliti mengambil sampel berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Pengumpulan data nyeri menggunakan Visual Analog Scale dan diuji dengan uji t. Hasil : ananlisis uji dependent T test pada wanita pasca melahirkan dengan pelvic girdle pain dapat disimpulkan bahwa pretest dan posttest nilai nyeri kelompok eksperimen dengan sampel 10 responden memiliki P-value (0,001) < α 0,05, maka H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan : Pemberian senam pilates dapat mengurangi nyeri pada ibu pasca melahirkan dengan pelvic girdle pain

Abstract

Remaja beresiko mengalami gangguan fungsi otak serta gangguan kognitif usia dini sehingga dibutuhkan tindakan preventif, salah satunya dengan meningkatkan intensitas aktivitas fisik melalui aktivitas-aktivitas fisik yang dibiasakan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan fungsi kognitif remaja usia 10-11 tahun. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif  dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 50 responden yang berjumlah 25 orang laki-laki dan 25 orang perempuan. Kriteria inklusi sampel meliputi pelajar aktif sekolah dasar, usia 10-11 tahun, dan bersedia menjadi responden. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi tingkat aktivitas fisik menggunakan Physical Activity Questionaire Children (PAQ-C) dan tes kognitif menggunakan Montreal Cognitive Assesment-Versi Indonesia (MoCA-Ina).   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan fungsi kognitif remaja usia 10-11 tahun melalui uji Spearman’s Coefficient of (Rank) Correlation dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,044 (p < 0, 05). Penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa remaja dengan aktivitas fisik yang tinggi memiliki fungsi kognitif normal, serta remaja dengan aktivitas yang rendah cenderung mengalami gangguan fungsi kognitif ringan. Adolescents are at risk of impaired brain function as well as early cognitive disorders so that preventive measures are needed, one of which increases the intensity of physical activity through physical activities that are familiarly used. The study aims to figure out the relationship between levels of physical activity with adolescent cognitive function aged 10-11 years. This research uses descriptive methods with cross cross-sectional design. Samples of 50 respondents totalled 25 girls and 25 boys. Sample inclusion criteria include active learners of elementary school, aged 10-11 years, and willing to become respondents. The Data collected includes the level of physical activity using the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) and cognitive tests using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment-Indonesian version (MoCA-Ina). The results showed there was a link between levels of physical activity with adolescent cognitive function aged 10-11 years through Spearman's Coefficient of (Rank) Correlation trials with a correlation value of 0,44 (p < 0,05). This study shows that some teenagers with physical activity have normal cognitive function, as well as teenagers with low activity are likely to experience impaired cognitive function.
