Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of ornamental fish farming business channa in UMKM Java Channa, Banyuwangi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and literature review. The results of the study indicate that channa fish farming in UMKM Java Channa has great potential. Various intensive training activities, such as proper feeding, aquarium maintenance, and mental training of fish, are carried out to produce high-quality channa fish. UMKM Java Channa also plays a role in increasing community knowledge and skills in the field of ornamental fish farming. In addition, this study also reveals that channa fish farming can be a promising alternative livelihood, especially for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pegadaian Syariah menawarkan berbagai produk keuangan berbasis syariah, salah satunya adalah Tabungan Emas. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistematika pengajuan Tabungan Emas di Pegadaian Syariah CPS A Yani Jember, serta menilai kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip ekonomi Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosedur pengajuan Tabungan Emas mencakup tahap pendaftaran, verifikasi identitas, penyetoran dana awal, dan konversi dana ke dalam bentuk emas. Pegadaian Syariah memastikan bahwa transaksi dilakukan sesuai dengan prinsip syariah, terutama dalam menghindari unsur riba, gharar, dan maisir. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengajuan meliputi keterbatasan pemahaman masyarakat terkait produk syariah serta fluktuasi harga emas yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan investasi. Oleh karena itu, edukasi lebih lanjut mengenai investasi berbasis syariah perlu ditingkatkan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan produk Tabungan Emas di Pegadaian Syariah serta menjadi referensi bagi masyarakat yang ingin berinvestasi secara halal.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana strategi penerapan digital marketing dalam penghimpunan zakat pada lembaga amil zakat Nurul Hayat Jember dan untuk menjelaskan dampak dari strategi penerapan digital marketing dalam penghimpunan zakat pada lembaga amil zakat Nurul Hayat Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Untuk menentukan subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik purposive, sedangkan dalam teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data, Reduksi data, Penyajian data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Dan untuk keabsahan datanya menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya penerapan digital marketing pada lembaga Nurul Hayat sangat berdampak positif dan dapat membantu lembaga dalam mempermudah mendapatkan calon donatur, dengan melalui media digital para masyarakat dapat dengan mudah menerima informasi dan dengan mudah melakukan transaksi melalui online saja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of the quality of employee performance with the application of accounting information systems and Internal Control Systems in a company. the method used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research step that produces descriptive data in the form of writing or speech, as well as the behavior of the people observed. In this study, the authors used data collection techniques, namely literature study. The literature technique is a way of collecting data obtained through literature, such as newspapers, books, magazines, manuscripts, documents, and so on that are relevant to the research. The results of the analysis of this research show that the effect of using accounting information systems and internal control is quite good because with the use of this system employees can do work effectively and quickly and reduce negligence in work. Suggestions that can be given to notary offices are expected to continue to use the internal control system in order to reduce the risk of negligence of employees.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan terhadap uang daerah yang dimaksud dengan kas daerah yang ditetapkan oleh Peraturan Bupati dan Standar Akuntansi Pemerintahan (SAP) yang bertujuan mewadahi seluruh pendapatan daerah dan untuk membiayai seluruh belanja daerah. Pemerintah daerah memastikan anggaran pendapatan dan belanja daerah (APBD) setiap tahunnya menjadi alat yang paling penting dalam pembangunan daerah yang didapat dari pembiayaan pembangunan daerah yang dimasukkan pada laporan realisasi anggaran. Laporan Realisasi Anggaran (LRA) merupakan laporan yang menggambarkan perbandingkan antara anggaran dengan realisasinya apakah pendapatan dan belanja daerah mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan dalam satu periode laporan. Informasi yang disajikan mengenai realisasi pendapatan, belanja, penerimaan pembiayaan dan pengeluaran pembiayaan pemerintah pusat atau daerah kabupaten banyuwangi. Dalam metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Community Based Research yang merupakan gagasan riset berbasis komunitas yang dapat melibatkan antara bendahara umum daerah dan satuan kerja perangkat daerah kabupaten banyuwangi.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan relawan pajak dalam optimalisasi kebijakan fiskal melalui asistensi pelaporan SPT Tahunan orang pribadi menggunakan e-filing di KPP Pratama Jember merupakan langkah yang strategis dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak serta memperkuat sistem perpajakan di tingkat lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelayanan asistensi pelaporan SPT tahunan menggunkan e-filling. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu tahap penyuluhan, tahap arahan, tahap pelaksanaan. Sedangakan metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mewawancarai beberapa wajib pajak berdasarkan indikator penelitian. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan relawan pajak memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan pajak wajib pajak di Jember. Melalui bantuan relawan pajak, wajib pajak dapat dengan mudah memahami proses e-filing dan mengisi formulir SPT secara benar dan tepat waktu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya kebutuhan masyarakat akan hunian di tengah keterbatasan kemampuan finansial untuk melakukan pembelian secara tunai, sehingga skema kredit melalui Kredit Pemilikan Rumah (KPR) menjadi alternatif utama. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses pembelian unit rumah secara tunai dan kredit serta sistem akuntansi penjualan yang diterapkan pada PT Kharisma Karya Raya Sentosa di Perumahan Grand Permata Ajung Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan pihak perusahaan dan konsumen, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif untuk menggambarkan prosedur transaksi dan praktik akuntansi di perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Kharisma Karya Raya Sentosa menerapkan sistem pembelian yang tertib dan transparan. Pembelian dilakukan melalui dua metode utama: tunai (tunai keras dan bertahap) serta kredit melalui fasilitas KPR (subsidi dan non-subsidi/komersial). Proses pembelian dimulai dari pengenalan produk, verifikasi data calon pembeli, pembayaran booking fee atau uang muka, hingga akad kredit dan serah terima unit. Dari sisi akuntansi, perusahaan mencatat setiap transaksi—baik tunai maupun kredit—menggunakan bukti transaksi, jurnal khusus, buku besar, hingga penyusunan laporan laba rugi dan neraca untuk memastikan posisi keuangan perusahaan yang akurat. Pendampingan administratif yang responsif dari pihak marketing menjadi salah satu keunggulan dalam menjaga kepercayaan konsumen selama proses transaksi berlangsung.

Abstract

Although competition in the culinary business is becoming increasingly intense, studies that specifically discuss business development strategies in local culinary businesses to enhance competitive advantage remain relevant. This study aims to analyze the business development strategies implemented by the Mie Ayam Mbah Bejo culinary business in Genteng Subdistrict, Banyuwangi, in improving its competitive advantage in the local culinary market. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving the business owner, employees, and customers of Mie Ayam Mbah Bejo, and were then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the business development strategy was implemented through the marketing concept of Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. In terms of segmentation, the business did not limit customers by region, age, or income level, thereby reaching various segments of society. The targeting strategy was open by making all levels of society the target market, while positioning was built through the image of a legendary chicken noodle stall with a distinctive taste, affordable prices, a strategic location, and friendly service. The SWOT analysis showed that the business’s strengths lie in product quality, affordable prices, a strategic location, and the utilization of digital technology, such as delivery services and cashless payments. The opportunities include the development of digital technology and the business reputation that has been widely recognized, while the business’s weaknesses include limited workforce and environmental conditions prone to flooding, and the threats stem from increasing competition from similar culinary businesses and changes in consumer preferences. Thus, this study confirms that the implementation of appropriate business development strategies contributes to enhancing the competitive advantage and sustainability of the Mie Ayam Mbah Bejo business amid competition in the local culinary market.

Abstract

Bad loans or Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) are one of the significant problems in banking because they can reduce banks’ income and financial performance, including at PT BPR Wutama Artha Jaya Jember. This condition occurs when customers are unable or unwilling to fulfill their credit payment obligations in accordance with the agreed contract. This study aims to analyze the role of collection in handling customers experiencing bad loans and to identify the risk management strategies used in handling bad loans at PT BPR Wutama Artha Jaya Jember. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, summarization, and report preparation. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation. The results showed that collection plays a role not only as the party responsible for debt collection but also as the implementer of monitoring, communication, and persuasive approaches to customers. In practice, the handling of bad loans needs to consider the optimization of credit analysis through the application of the prudential principle based on the 5C principle in credit risk assessment. The factors causing bad loans were identified as originating from internal and external factors. The risk management strategies used included risk identification, measurement, control, and mitigation, as well as the implementation of the 3R strategy, namely rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring, as the main effort in handling bad loans. The conclusion of this study affirms that the optimal role of collection and the implementation of systematic risk management strategies contribute to minimizing the risk of bad loans in rural banks.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed society’s payment system from cash transactions to e-wallet-based non-cash transactions that offer convenience, speed, and efficiency. This phenomenon also occurs among students, including at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, which has supported the implementation of digital payment systems through various technology-based services. This study aims to analyze the effects of cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness on the intention to use e-wallets among students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research population consisted of all active undergraduate students, while the sample comprised 388 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online using Google Forms, then analyzed through instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness each had a positive and significant effect on the intention to use e-wallets. Simultaneously, the three variables also had a positive and significant effect on the intention to use e-wallets among students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. The conclusion of this study affirms that increasing cashless lifestyle, perceived ease of use, and environmental awareness can encourage students’ intention to use e-wallets as a means of digital transactions. The implications of this study provide practical contributions to the development of digital payment services in higher education environments and serve as input for e-wallet service providers in designing usage strategies that are easier, more efficient, and oriented toward environmental awareness.
