Abstract

Monitoring temperature and humidity using the conventional method currently used at PT Sakafarm Laboratories still faces several obstacles, such as delays in recording and lack of data accuracy. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a temperature and humidity Monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) in a raw material storage warehouse at PT Sakafarma Laboratories. This study used the prototype method with NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT11, Buzzer as the main hardware component and Thinger.Io as the user interface. The results of this study, an IoT-based temperature and humidity Monitoring system can make it easier for users to monitor temperature and humidity in real time and the resulting data is more accurate and efficient, the results of temperature and humidity testing are classified as normal and according to predetermined specifications, namely 20-30 0C and <85 RH, and sensor accuracy for temperature values ​​reached 98.49% while sensor accuracy for humidity values ​​reached 87.78%.

Abstract

SD Negeri Pasirsari 01 is a school located in South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. The learning media used by teachers in teaching science subjects (human respiratory system) still use textbooks and student worksheets (LKS) as guidelines because it is still difficult to develop new media that is more interactive. The results of the questionnaire using the Likert scale showed that 91.42% of students tended to be less interested in the science learning model. With this, it is necessary to design an android-based human respiratory system learning media. The method used is Research & Development with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. After being implemented and then tested using a questionnaire student response to the application with the results of the questionnaire using a Likert scale showing 37.14% of students tended to be less interested in the science learning model, it can be concluded that 54.28% of students liked science lessons.

Abstract

Network security is a paramount concern in today's digitally interconnected world. The constant evolution of cyber threats necessitates innovative approaches to safeguarding the digital realm. This paper explores the application of K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) in network security, offering a shield against intrusions and vulnerabilities. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction to the escalating landscape of network security challenges, highlighting the critical role of intrusion detection. K-NN, renowned for its pattern recognition capabilities, is a promising solution to fortify network defenses. The methodological journey involves data collection and preprocessing, where relevant datasets are curated and prepared for analysis. Subsequently, a K-NN model is meticulously crafted, focusing on parameter tuning and optimal K-value selection. Metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, are employed to assess its performance. The findings provide insights into the model's strengths and limitations, offering a valuable perspective on its suitability for real-world network protection. This research demonstrates the potential of K-Nearest Neighbors in shielding the digital realm, reinforcing network security, and exemplifying the efficacy of machine learning in countering evolving cyber threats. It underscores the significance of proactive measures in preserving the integrity and confidentiality of digital assets in an increasingly interconnected world.

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive literature survey focused on the critical topic of enhancing road safety through dynamic threat detection in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, road users’ safety is paramount, and VANETs have emerged as a promising solution for improving road safety by enabling real-time communication among vehicles and infrastructure. Our survey delves into the existing body of knowledge, summarizing key findings, methodologies, and advancements in the field of dynamic threat detection within VANETs. We analyze various approaches, including sensor-based systems, machine learning algorithms, and communication protocols, that have been proposed and evaluated in the literature. Furthermore, this survey explores the challenges and open issues in VANET-based road safety enhancement, such as privacy concerns, scalability, and the need for standardized communication protocols. We highlight the significance of adapting dynamic threat detection techniques to the unique characteristics of VANETs, where network conditions and the threat landscape can change rapidly. By synthesizing insights from existing research, this survey provides a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to understand the state of the art in VANET-based road safety and identify promising directions for future investigations. It underscores the importance of continued research to make our roads safer for all.

Abstract

Dalam era digital ini, internet telah menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Menurut data Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII), 73,7% dari total 266 juta penduduk Indonesia telah terkoneksi ke internet. Namun, di TKIT Al-Fajri Cahaya Umat, Cikarang, mereka masih menggunakan cara konvensional dalam mempromosikan sekolah mereka. Cara ini memiliki beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya efisiensi waktu dan biaya serta jangkauan promosi yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini akan membangun dan mengimplementasikan sebuah website profil sekolah yang dapat diakses dari PC, laptop, tablet dan handphone. Untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut, salah satu solusinya adalah dengan mengimplementasikan website profil sekolah. Saat ini, website telah menjadi kebutuhan dasar bagi institusi karena merupakan media yang efektif di zaman sekarang. Sudah banyak penelitian yang membuktikan bahwa website adalah salah satu media paling efektif untuk mempresentasikan profil sekolah.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan suatu perusahaan sangat bergantung pada peran konsumen dalam melakukan transaksi. Ternyata konsumen mempunyai perilaku dan karakteristik yang beragam, sehingga diperlukan kemampuan menganalisis pola atau kebiasaan konsumen dalam bertransaksi. Hal serupa juga terjadi pada bisnis retail yang menghadapi beberapa permasalahan dalam proses penjualannya, seperti kelangkaan stok, produk yang tidak terjual, serta perbedaan popularitas produk dan permintaan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis kebiasaan konsumen dalam bertransaksi. Metode asosiasi dengan algoritma Apriori terbukti efektif dalam menganalisis kebiasaan transaksi konsumen pada bisnis retail. Perhitungan dataset sembako menunjukkan rata-rata persentase nilai dukungan sebesar 0,05 dan nilai keyakinan sebesar 0,03. Penerapan metode asosiasi dengan algoritma Apriori dapat membantu bisnis retail dalam merancang produk dan menentukan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan penjualan, seperti memberikan diskon atau promosi pada produk tertentu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Pemetaan Peluang Hibah Dikti dan Strategi Peningkatan Jabatan Fungsional Dosen dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dosen di Indonesia dalam mengakses hibah penelitian dan mengembangkan karir akademik. Diselenggarakan secara daring oleh Lentera Ilmu Nusantara pada 03 Agustus 2024, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 dosen dari berbagai perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan materi selama 60 menit dan diskusi interaktif selama 60 menit. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap peluang hibah Dikti sebesar 35% dan 80% peserta menyatakan mendapatkan wawasan baru tentang strategi peningkatan jabatan fungsional. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, variasi kondisi perguruan tinggi, dan masalah teknis dalam pelaksanaan daring. Rencana tindak lanjut mencakup pembentukan grup diskusi online, penyelenggaraan webinar lanjutan, dan penyusunan modul panduan praktis. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi signifikan dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia melalui pengembangan kapasitas dosen dalam penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

The attendance system is used to obtain records regarding attendance. In a particular agency in the field of education, the presence of the teacher is one of the main factors that is very important in evaluating its performance. However, at SMP Negeri 1 Karang Bahagia, the level of teacher absence violations is quite high so that it can easily manipulate attendance data, as well as data collection for a teacher who does not enter with the excuse of illness, permit, or leave, which is less effective and efficient and quite difficult in monthly attendance data recapitulation due to easy loss due to forgetting to save, damage by water or fire, and others. This study aims to design and build an attendance system that will make it easier for teachers to carry out the attendance process and for Administrative administrators to recapitulate attendance data. In developing this system, the author uses the waterfall method. This attendance system is automatically designed using the Quick Response Code (QR Code) to scan the attendance QR, as well as adding automatic features to the face photo taking section as proof of attendance and giving a location point when making an absence. This system has been completed and tested. according to the scenario that has been designed. After testing the attendance system, it runs well, makes it easier to collect absentee data by the teacher in controlling daily attendance, and makes it easier to recapitulate monthly reports so that it is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Pendampingan SMK Merah Putih Menuju SMK BISA-HEBAT adalah sebuah program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas SMK Merah Putih menjadi SMK yang bisa bersaing dan memiliki keunggulan di bidangnya, yaitu SMK BISA-HEBAT. Program ini akan memberikan pendampingan dan bimbingan kepada SMK Merah Putih untuk melakukan perubahan yang diperlukan agar bisa mencapai standar kualitas SMK BISA-HEBAT. Program ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, antara lain evaluasi awal, identifikasi masalah, penyusunan rencana aksi, pelaksanaan rencana aksi, dan evaluasi akhir. Evaluasi awal bertujuan untuk menilai kondisi SMK Merah Putih saat ini, sedangkan identifikasi masalah akan membantu dalam mengidentifikasi masalah utama yang harus diatasi. Setelah masalah diidentifikasi, dilakukan penyusunan rencana aksi yang akan dijalankan oleh SMK Merah Putih untuk mencapai standar SMK BISA-HEBAT. Pelaksanaan rencana aksi akan dilakukan dengan pendampingan dan bimbingan dari tim pendamping, yang akan membantu SMK Merah Putih dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala yang muncul selama pelaksanaan. Terakhir, evaluasi akhir akan dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi hasil dari program ini dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut. Dalam program ini, SMK Merah Putih akan dibimbing dan didampingi oleh tim pendamping yang terdiri dari ahli-ahli di bidangnya, seperti ahli pendidikan, ahli manajemen sekolah, dan ahli bidang industri. Diharapkan dengan adanya program ini, SMK Merah Putih dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya dan menjadi SMK BISA-HEBAT yang dapat bersaing di dunia industry Kata kunci: Pendampingan, SMK, SMKBISA-HEBAT
