Abstract

This research investigates the pivotal role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in mitigating employee turnover from a psychological perspective. Emotional Intelligence—encompassing self-awareness, empathy, and stress management—is identified as a crucial factor in enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment, thus influencing employee retention. Employing a library research methodology, the study reviews existing literature on EI's impact on reducing turnover and highlights how high EI levels contribute to lower turnover rates by improving job satisfaction and fostering a stronger commitment to the organization. The study finds that employees with elevated EI are adept at managing workplace stress, fostering positive relationships, and aligning with organizational values. This alignment enhances their job satisfaction and commitment, leading to reduced turnover rates. The findings have practical implications for organizations, suggesting that integrating EI assessments into recruitment processes, developing EI training programs, and creating supportive work environments can significantly improve employee retention. Prioritizing EI development helps in building a more resilient and engaged workforce, thereby contributing to organizational stability and performance.

Abstract

Organizational culture plays a crucial role in shaping employee behavior and performance. This study aims to analyze how organizational culture influences employee behavior and performance while identifying the key cultural elements that significantly impact productivity. This research employs a literature review method, examining recent scholarly works on organizational culture, employee behavior, and performance. The findings indicate that a positive organizational culture—characterized by open communication, alignment of values with company goals, and managerial support—directly enhances work motivation, job satisfaction, and employee productivity. Conversely, a weak organizational culture can lead to dissatisfaction, high turnover rates, and decreased productivity. The implications of this study highlight the importance of fostering a strong and adaptive work culture to sustain and improve employee performance. Additionally, this study offers strategic recommendations for managers and organizational leaders in developing a culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and employee well-being.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped the world of work, bringing both significant opportunities and psychological challenges for employees. The massive integration of digital technologies, ranging from artificial intelligence to ubiquitous connectivity, has given rise to new forms of workplace stress such as technostress, cognitive overload, and digital presenteeism. These challenges are further intensified by the “always-on culture,” which blurs the boundaries between work and personal life, thereby increasing the risk of burnout, mental fatigue, and declining job satisfaction. This study aims to comprehensively examine the psychological mechanisms underlying the relationship between digital transformation and employee well-being, while also identifying organizational strategies to mitigate its adverse impacts. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing recent academic sources from 2020 to 2025, obtained from international databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and PsycINFO. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns, themes, and emerging trends related to workplace stress in digital contexts. The findings reveal that digitalization escalates multitasking demands, job uncertainty, and reduced employee autonomy, ultimately undermining psychological well-being. Nevertheless, organizational support, digital literacy, and effective work–life balance policies are shown to reduce these psychological burdens. This study emphasizes the importance of psychology-based interventions, digital leadership oriented toward well-being, and adaptive stress management programs that align with the dynamics of digital work. The implications of this research are significant for the development of industrial–organizational psychology theory as well as human resource management practices, particularly in fostering healthier work environments amid the ongoing digital transformation.

The activities included podcastpreneurship workshops, creative content production, and the establishment of a mini digital studio as a medium for economic empowerment and leadership development. The results revealed significant improvements in students’ digital communication skills, entrepreneurial motivation, and ability to produce technology-based da’wah content. This program serves as an integrative model linking pesantren education, Islamic economics, and sustainable digital transformation toward Muslim community empowerment.
