Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of references and inferences contained in the lyrics of existing songs in the album Monokrom Tulus work. The data source in this research is 1 lyric of 10 song lyrics contained in the album Monokrom Tulus work. The type of this research is descriptive method obtained by observation technique followed by documentation study done by listening / reading, understanding, then collecting and analyzing data based on reference and inference approach. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the use of references in the lyrics of songs in the album Monochrome in general amounted to 11 data, 8 pertained personal references (3 personal reference data anaphora and 5 personal reference data katafora), 2 data including comparative reference which all include comparative reference katafora, and the last one is anaphoric demonstrative reference data. While the inference that the authors found there are words that are implied in the lyrics of the song in the album Monochrome which makes the results of the inference yaang authors find may be different from other readers. As for the results that the authors find, there are some inexhaustible conclusions or do not support the information / conclusions on the previous fragment, but in the final inference the authors link them or draw conclusions based on common logic and dominant inferences that are interrelated.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Indonesian language errors found in writing Political Party banners in Nagan Raya City. The approach used in this study is a theoretical and methodological approach. The theoretical approach in this study uses the Indonesian language error analysis approach, while the methodological approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using direct observation (observation), note-taking techniques, and documentation. Analysis of the data using split and replace techniques. Presentation of the results of data analysis using informal methods. The research design carried out is: (1) The initial stage is the preparation stage to identify problems and search for literature studies especially with reference to previous research journals, (2) after the problems have been identified and the basics of literature study are found, the next stage is conducting data collection with direct observation or observation, (3) After the data has been collected, recorded and documented, then analyzed using reference sources, (4) Evaluating to obtain new data as a basis for concluding the results of the study. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there are still many errors in Indonesian language in writing banners in Nagan Raya District that are not / not in accordance with the good and correct Indonesian language rules. Forms of writing errors on Political Party banners in Nagan Raya Regency. Includes writing errors of standard words and non-standard words.

Abstract

Writing skills courses in higher education are learning that requires students to be able to understand reading both in text and context. Students need to be given the opportunity to understand the reading so that they can pour what is on their mind into written form. Ability to read comprehension with the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model and Library Utilization. Reading Comprehension Ability in Basic Competence of Writing Skills from the results of observations. Cycle I showed the average percentage score of Reading Comprehension in Basic Competence of Writing Skills of 76.19%, the score then increased in cycle II to 84.57% in cycle II. There was an increase in the average percentage score of Reading Comprehension in Basic Competence of Writing Skills from cycle I to cycle II of 8.38%. The results of the average percentage of Reading Comprehension Ability in the Basic Competence of Writing Skills also shows that more than 75% of the indicators of success in Reading Comprehension Basic Competence in Writing Skills have been achieved.
