Abstract

Salah satu tujuan mata pelajaran IPS adalah agar peserta didik memiliki kemampuan dasar berpikir logis dan kritis, serta memiliki kemampuan sosial. Kemampuan untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain dalam satu konteks sosial dengan suatu cara yang spesifik yang secara sosial dapat diterima atau dinilai dan menguntungkan orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pembelajaran IPS sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik khususnya usia dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian pustaka. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu buku, jurnal, artikel, dan karya ilmiah lain yang relevan. Data dikumpulkan untuk kemudian dilakukan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa upaya meningkatkan ketrampilan sosial peserta didik usia dasar dengan cara guru memiliki keterampilan sosial yang baik, menelaah kembali tujuan pembelajaran IPS, Menentukan metode pembelajaran, metode langsung dalam pembelajaran dan mengambil nilai-nilai dalam materi IPS untuk diintegrasikan dengan pengalaman keterampilan sosial.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, critical and logical thinking processes are needed to solve problems correctly, including material about arithmetic sequences and series, which requires good concentration in studying it. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which aims to analyze students' thinking processes in solving problems of arithmetic sequences and series. The subjects in this research were class XI high school students. One of the abilities developed in learning mathematics is the ability to solve problems. Students can do math problems but are not good enough at analyzing and thinking optimally. This causes students' low ability to solve mathematical problems. The research results showed that students were able to work on calculated reasoning cycle questions. Because, in responding to or answering these questions the subject will generally use ideas that have been researched, and the subject can communicate or understand the methods taken to overcome these problems. Some students who use a semi-reasonable reasoning cycle when evaluated in solving problems are not ready to communicate it in their own words. In understanding a problem, students have used these ideas but not enough and students cannot. don't understand the steps to solve this problem. The equation used is correct, but the steps to overcome it are still inappropriate.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a crucial skill that significantly contributes to students’ academic success across various subjects. However, based on initial observations at MIS Miftahul Fallah Diski, it was found that many fifth-grade students still struggle to understand the content of reading materials, particularly in identifying main ideas and answering questions accurately. This study examines the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students. The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was an essay test that had been validated, and the data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test with SPSS version 25. The results showed an improvement in the average score from 43.55 on the pretest to 84 on the posttest, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that the CIRC model has a substantial impact on enhancing students’ reading comprehension skills. This study suggests that teachers should consider applying cooperative learning models, such as CIRC, in teaching Indonesian, particularly when focusing on materials that emphasize reading comprehension. Thus, this model can be an effective teaching strategy to create an active, interactive, and collaborative learning environment at the elementary school level.

Abstract

PHBS adalah semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan karena kesadaran pribadi sehingga keluarga dan seluruh anggotanya mampu menolong diri sendiri pada bidang kesehatan serta memiliki peran aktif dalam aktivitas masyarakat.Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan perilaku yang dilakukan seseorang untuk selalu memperhatikan kebersihan, kesehatan dan berperilaku sehat. Penerapan PHBS harus diterapkan sejak usia dini agar setiap kalangan dapat terbiasa menerapkannya pada kehidupan sehari-hari, pada kegiatan apapun dan dimanapun mereka berada. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penerapan atau implementasi PHBS dalam gaya hidup sehat anggota dan panitia pada kegiatan JUMBARA di Kecamatan Pancur Batu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa siswa dan panitia bidang kesehatan yang dianggap telah mengenal PMI sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunkan peneliti pada peneilitian in iadalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Artikel yang digunakan diperoleh dari data base Google Scholar. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut ditemukan bahwa PHBS merupakan upaya untuk mencipatakan suatu kondisi untuk diri sendiri, keluarga dan lingkungan untuk berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan kesehatan.
