Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan big book terhadap kemampuan mempredikksi bacaan cerita siswa kelas III di SD Muhamadiyah 28 Medan. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, uji Wilcoxon,dan uji hipotesis Mann-Whitiney dengan taraf signifikasi ∝= 0.05. Temuan dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan media big book terhadap kemampuan memprediksi bacaan cerita siswa tersebut dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan dilhat dari hasil validasi ahli isi dan ahli media dengan skor 76%, media ini juga dinyatakan praktis dalam penggunaannya dilihat dari 14 kriteria dengan persentase 85,71% dan penggunaan media big book ini juga sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memprediksi bacaan cerita siswa kelas III di SD Muhamdiyah 28 Medan dengan persentase 92,6% pada sampel dan 87,5% pada guru pada taraf Asym Sig 0,001 < dari taraf signifikasi 0,05. Sebagai hasil akhir dilakukan uji hipotesis Mann-Whitney dengan hasil signifikasi 0,002 sehingga, berdasarkan kriteria pengambilan keputusan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima

Abstract

Strategy and media are important components in the learning process. In the era of the covid-19 pandemic, various strategies and learning media that have been used by teachers, do not seem to be able to play more roles through online learning. This is due to the design of learning strategies and media that have been intended face-to-face (offline, offline). This paper aims to analyze the appropriate strategies and media used in learning Islamic religious education (PAI) in the covid-19 era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Analyze and test the validity of the data using reference materials, including scientific articles, books, proceedings and final assignments (thesis, thesis, dissertation). The results of this study indicate that (1) the appropriate strategy used is distance learning strategy (PJJ). This is based on the stipulation of social distancing policies by the government towards the Indonesian people, including in the field of education; and (2) the right media to use is an online application in the form of WhatsApp Group, Google Classroom, E-Learning, Youtube, Google Meeting and Zoom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning (PBL) model on the creative thinking skills of class XI science students at MAN 1 Tapanuli Tengah on cell material. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research with data collection techniques are tests and non-tests that are carried out to measure students' creative thinking abilities. The sample in this study amounted to 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis used in the form of instrument calibration, data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of Mann Whitney's hypothesis test on SPSS version 26 obtained a probability value (Asymp. Sig.) 0.116 < 0.05, Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no significant difference in each aspect of creative thinking ability between the control class and the experimental class. The results showed that the percentage of creative thinking ability of the experimental class was 60% and the control class was 50% with the criteria of moderate creative thinking ability. The conclusion in this study is that there is no significant effect of the application of project-based learning on students' creative thinking skills in cell material in class XI IPA MAN 1 Tapanuli Tengah.

Abstract

This comic design aims to determine students' interest in reading related to thematic learning during the pandemic. This research was developed using the Brog & Gal model which was simplified into 5 stages, namely: researchers collecting data, product analysis developed, developing initial products, expert validation and design and revision, small field trials and product revisions, large scale field trials and the final product. Taking questionnaires, interviews, data were analyzed using descriptive analytic is data collection. The results of this study are thematic learning media based on comic series are declared valid with a very feasible category with a percentage of 97.83%. It was declared practical with a percentage of 76.49% in the very practical category, and effective with a percentage of 79.56%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the extent to which the metacognition abilities of fifth grade elementary school students in mathematics subject to material in space. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the subjects in the study were elementary school students class V-b, amounting to 31 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire that refers to the rubric Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). The results showed that the ability of metacognition in fifth grade elementary school students showed that the ability of 80% cognitive knowledge and 81% cognitive regulation with this can be said to be very related.Keywords: Build Space, Metacognition and Regulation ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kemampuan metakognisi siswa SD kelas V dalam pelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif  kualitatif, subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa SD kelas V-b yang berjumlah 31 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket yang mengacu pada rubrik Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan metakognisi pada siswa SD kelas V menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pengetahuan kognisi 80% dan  regulasi kognisi 81% dengan ini dapat dikatakan sangatlah berhubungan.          Kata Kunci: Bangun Ruang, Metakognisi dan Regulasi

Abstract

Student worksheet contains various activities that are used to facilitate and practice students' skills in learning activities. This research aims to determine the development of student worksheet based on critical thinking skills that are valid, practical, and effective on the excretory system. This is a research and development of ADDIE model. The validity of student worksheet was measured using a validation sheet. The validity of student worksheet is 78% categorized as valid. Material validity of 82% is categorized as very valid, media validity of 81% is categorized as very valid, and language validity of 71% is categorized as valid. The practicality of the student worksheet was measured using a practitioner validation sheet and student response questionnaires. The practicality of worksheet is 87% categorized as very practical. Based on practitioner validation, the result of worksheet practicality of 89% is categorized as very practical and student response questionnaire of 85% is categorized as very practical. worksheet effectiveness was measured by normalized gain test. The control class N-Gain score of 0.2 is categorized as low and the experimental class N-Gain score of 0.5 is categorized as moderate.Keywords: Effectiveness, Practicality, Critical Thinking Skills, Student Worksheet, Validity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Islamic Thematic Comics as a valid, practical and effective learning media. The methods used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The type of this research is R&R research with Borg and Gall research design. The results showed that the Islamic Thematic Comic product based on the value given by the valid validator obtained a value of 94.01% in the "Very Eligible" category, the practicality level obtained a value of 77.60% in the "Very Eligible" category and was declared effective with an increase in the value of 76.00 and after using Comics, which is 81.67. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the development of Islamic Thematic Comics products to improve student learning outcomes is declared valid, practical, and effective.Keywords: Islamic, Thematic, Comic Media.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the ability and level of student’s creative thinking and student’s cognitive knowledge. It is qualitative research to search for data and information. Operationally, this research was conducted with some steps namely: (1) giving a set of big five personality test to 215 students to determine their personality type, (2) giving a set of creative thinking test of 215 students to measure the ability and level of their creative thinking, and (3) choosing one student randomly from each student’s personality type to be interviewed to search their cognitive knowledge. The results show that every student has a creative thinking ability, but the level of creative thinking varies. The category of student’s creative thinking ability based on Big Five Personalities is 'moderate or high'. The level of student’s creative thinking based on the big five personality is 'very creative, creative, quite creative or less creative'. The student’s cognitive knowledge based on the big five personality is drawing, designing, ascertaining, dividing, reasoning, analogy, imagining, utilizing, solving, understanding, determining, mentioning, and using trial and error.

Abstract

Kahoot merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan aplikasi kahoot juga diterapkan di satuan Pendidikan dasar Kabupaten Simalungun yaitu Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Permata Cendekia pada siswa kelas V materi Ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V, sedangkan sampel yang diambil yaitu sebahagian dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 15 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode kuasi eksperimen.One Group Pretest Posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa test. Dari penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan.  Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Paired Samples Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 artinya bahwa nilai sig < 0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kahoot berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada materi Ekosistem di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Permata Cendekia Kabupaten Simalungun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Problem Solving pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian di kelas IV yang terdiri dari 24 siswa.penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) siklus. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: (1) ketuntasan klasika hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan metode Problem Solving yaitu 12,5%. (2) ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan metode Problem Solving pada siklus I sebesar 58,3% selanjutnya pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebesar 91,7% pada siklus III siswa yang sebesar 95,83%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus III telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal yaitu sebesar 85%. (3) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari sebelum adanya tindakan sampai pada siklus III yaitu 83,3%.berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam materi Energi Panas dan Energi Bunyi di kelas IV.
