Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers and students at MTs Rodlotul Khuffadz Sorong in using the classical book Al-Miftah Lil Ulum for Nahwu and Sharaf learning. The training adopted a participatory and practical approach, including theoretical sessions, guided practice, and group discussions. The program was implemented over three days and followed by evaluation through pre-test and post-test instruments. Results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with average scores rising from 45% to 78%. In addition to cognitive gains, the training also shifted participants' attitudes toward Arabic grammar, transforming perceptions of Nahwu and Sharaf from difficult and monotonous subjects into engaging and meaningful learning experiences. The use of talaqqi and musyafahah methods, along with structured group activities, proved effective in fostering active learning and collaborative understanding. Despite challenges such as limited time and varied participant backgrounds, the training demonstrated that classical text-based learning can be successfully implemented in formal madrasah settings. The outcomes suggest strong potential for integrating Al-Miftah Lil Ulum into the Arabic language curriculum and call for continued training and support at institutional and policy levels.

Abstract

Rapid growth and the ability to turn feed into valuable meat are two advantages of broiler ducks. The success of broiler duck production is reflected in measurable performance indicators such as mortality rate, feed consumption, final body weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR). There are still many disadvantages in the cage management pattern, one of the main factors is the high mortality rate. Therefore, based on the results of research on the subject of broiler duck production, researchers tried to analyze production elements using various data processing techniques, including artificial neural network-based clussification and fuzzy classifiers that have been proven to have very good results for classification data. However, in practice there are situations where the distribution of training and testing data is the same but different. From the results of the previous research analysis, the fuzzy k-nearest neighbor algorithm was used to process broiler duck production data. Based on the test results, the accuracy value of the KNN algorithm was 87%, and the accuracy value of fuzzy logic was 98%. Because the data that the researcher prepared had irregular characters which caused the KNN method to experience many errors during data processing. Furthermore, the researcher combined the KNN and Fuzzy Logic methods into fuzzy k-nearest neighbor. which with the FKNN method obtained an accuracy value of 83%. can optimize the KNN method which previously experienced many errors when processing data.

Abstract

Indonesia, secara geologis, terletak pada lempeng sesar tektonik aktif yang berpotensi menyebabkan bencana alam seperti gempa bumi dan tsunami. Pulau Jawa, khususnya pesisir selatannya, dikenal sebagai zona rawan dengan endapan tsunami yang dapat muncul sewaktu-waktu. Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur, berada dalam daerah yang rentan gempa dengan sejarah guncangan yang cukup signifikan. Terkait dengan potensi bahaya ini, Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember bersinergi dengan BMKG Nganjuk untuk menyelenggarakan Sekolah Lapang Gempa Bumi di Pesisir Pantai Selatan Jember, bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat menghadapi ancaman gempa bumi dan tsunami. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan tahap persiapan, termasuk pengumpulan informasi geologis, pembentukan tim satuan, persiapan kegiatan penyuluhan, dan penentuan lokasi. Tahap pelaksanaan mencakup sambutan dan pembukaan, penyerahan peta lempeng bumi, pemberian materi oleh tim BMKG dan BPBD, serta pelatihan simulasi perlindungan saat terjadi gempa. Kegiatan dilakukan di Aula Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara, Puger, Kabupaten Jember, pada 16 Maret 2023, dihadiri oleh lebih dari 150 peserta.Hasil kegiatan mencakup peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang potensi bencana, ancaman gempa bumi dan tsunami, serta pembekalan praktik simulasi penyelamatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat dukungan positif dari Bupati Jember, Hendy Siswanto, yang berharap masyarakat dapat menjadi mandiri dalam menghadapi bencana.
