Abstract

Pineapple jam is a processed fruit product that is popular among various groups of people because of its distinctive sweet and sour taste and chewy texture. The process of making pineapple jam involves several important stages, starting from selecting and preparing the raw materials, namely ripe pineapples. After that, the pineapple is grated or crushed, then cooked with sugar and other additional ingredients such as pectin, citric acid and preservatives. The cooking process is carried out by heating gradually to evaporate some of the water and thicken the jam. This process also aims to activate pectin which functions as a natural thickening agent. After reaching the desired consistency, the pineapple jam is cooled, then packaged in sterile containers to maintain the quality and durability of the product. Important parameters in the process of making pineapple jam include water content, sugar content and pH, which affect the quality and shelf life of the product. The final results of this research show that the correct use of pectin and citric acid can produce pineapple jam with optimal texture and delicious taste, and has a long shelf life if stored properly. Keywords: Citric acid; jam; pineapple; pectin; texture.

Abstract

Countries are obligated to ensure that children with special needs (CWSN) have access to education as part of their human rights. This commitment is reflected in laws, regulations, and the implementation of inclusive education initiatives that prioritize equality and justice within the political and legal context of education. This study examines the challenges in realizing the right to education for children with disabilities and how Indonesia's educational politics and laws support this right. Insufficient funding, poor infrastructure, and a lack of awareness often hinder the implementation of educational rights for children with disabilities, even in the presence of laws such as Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System and the Minister of Education Regulation on Inclusive Education

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the work ethic of employees at PT. Jasaraharja Putera Bengkulu Branch and identify the factors influencing it. Work ethic refers to the attitudes, values, and behaviors exhibited by individuals in performing their duties, directly affecting the performance and service quality of the organization. A quantitative method was employed, using a survey approach with 55 respondents who are active motor vehicle insurance (JP-ASTOR) customers. Data were collected through questionnaires designed based on indicators of work ethic and service quality. The research findings indicate that the employees demonstrate a relatively high level of work ethic, especially in terms of discipline, responsibility, and adaptability to the implemented management information system. However, some limitations were observed regarding their comprehension and optimal use of information technology. A simple linear regression analysis reveals a positive and significant influence between the management information system and service quality. These results imply that strengthening employee work ethics through training in information technology and system usage can enhance the competitiveness of financial service companies like PT. Jasaraharja Putera. This research offers theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management in the insurance service sector and serves as a strategic reference for internal policy decisions aimed at improving service effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
