Abstract

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) merupakan inisiatif penting yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman praktis yang tidak dapat diperoleh di dalam kelas kepada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian ini mengkaji motivasi, dukungan kurikulum, biaya dan bantuan keuangan, proses pendaftaran, serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program MBKM. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa motivasi utama mahasiswa adalah memperoleh pengalaman baru, mengembangkan kemampuan, dan memperluas wawasan yang relevan dengan tujuan karier mereka. Dukungan dari universitas dan dosen pembimbing sangat membantu, meskipun terdapat kebutuhan untuk peningkatan dalam pengarahan dan relevansi program. Meskipun sebagian besar biaya telah ditanggung, mahasiswa tetap menghadapi tantangan finansial dan mental. Persiapan yang matang serta komunikasi yang baik dengan orang tua sangat penting untuk keberhasilan dalam menjalani program ini. Dengan demikian, program MBKM tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan pribadi dan profesional mahasiswa, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

As a school principal, the leader plays an active role and is always influential in all matters relating to the needs of school staff, teachers and all students. A good school principal has the task of fostering school culture and discipline, being a work partner, creating cooperation between all school students to create a friendly and goal-oriented school environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of school principals as leaders in building teacher academic culture. The leadership of the school principal certainly plays an important role in shaping and creating the teacher's academic culture. A good academic culture should ideally be possessed by all teachers in a school. This article discusses methods, obstacles and how school leaders overcome obstacles in building a teacher's academic culture.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of classroom management on students’ self-regulated learning and learning enthusiasm at SMP Nommensen Jambi. The study is motivated by the relatively low level of students’ learning independence and fluctuating learning motivation in classroom activities. Classroom management plays a strategic role in creating a conducive learning environment that supports students’ behavioral development. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population consisted of all students, with a total sample of 85 students selected using total sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and SmartPLS through measurement and structural model evaluation. The results indicate that classroom management has a positive and significant effect on self-regulated learning (β = 0.728; p < 0.05) and learning enthusiasm (β = 0.701; p < 0.05). These findings confirm that effective classroom management enhances students’ independence and motivation in learning. This study highlights the importance of classroom management in improving the quality of learning processes.
