Abstract

PT Wistarasa Duta Negeri merupakan mitra kelompok ternak yang bergerak dibidang peternakan budidaya jangkrik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah (1) sistem kendali untuk membuat kondisi ideal media jangkrik sulit dilakukan karena masih bergantung pada kondisi cuaca, (2) sulitnya memonitor jumlah box media jangkrik yang cukup banyak dikarenakan masih dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur konvensional. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah mengimplementasikan IPTEK pada kelompok ternak budidaya jangkrik sehingga dapat membantu mengontrol dan monitoring suhu dan kelembaban media budidaya jangkrik dan berimplikasi pada meningkatnya produktivitas hasil ternak. Alat ini menggunakan beberapa sensor untuk memantau suhu dan kelembaban, yang juga dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol alat secara otomatis maupun manual. Informasi mengenai suhu dan kelembaban dapat dilihat dimanapun dan kapanpun melalui smartphone. Metode untuk mencapai target pelaksanaan program ini adalah membangun sistem atau instalasi di area kandang budidaya jangkrik dan memberi pelatihan penggunaan teknologi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan pengunaan IPTEK.

Abstract

To maintain the welfare of the elderly, intensive and effective monitoring is needed to ensure their safety. Conventional elderly activity monitoring has several limitations (i.e., space and time) due to human abilities. This problem can be overcome by applying real-time monitoring methods using Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Several methods have been used and tested, including artificial intelligence implementations from sensor data-based to computer vision-based pattern recognition for body motion classification. Several methods that have been studied show accurate results in classifying elderly body motions/gestures. However, the Human Activity Recognition (HAR) method performs better for elderly activity monitoring applications and makes fall classification more accurate.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to the healthcare sector, particularly frontline healthcare workers. These professionals face high infection risks and physical and mental exhaustion due to intensified workloads and staffing shortages. Robots are seen as a potential solution to this predicament, performing tasks such as delivering supplies and monitoring patients. However, widespread adoption of such robots, particularly in resource-constrained settings, has been hampered by the exorbitant costs associated with their acquisition and maintenance. To address this problem, the authors developed a low-cost nursing robot based on the ESP32 and the Robot Operating System (ROS). This robot facilitates hospital logistics and patient monitoring through telemedicine. The robot is controlled by remote control or Wi-Fi connection through the RViz Graphical User Interface (GUI) and uses odometry and PID control methods to follow specified paths autonomously. Accessible via local area networks and the Internet, the telemedicine system demonstrates robust performance with minimal X and Y axis control errors, zero packet loss, an average Round Trip Delay (RTD) of less than 150 ms, and jitter values of less than 20 ms, in line with TIPHON standards. This innovation provides a cost-effective solution to support healthcare workers during the ongoing health crisis. In future development, incorporating LiDAR, computer vision, and AI-based decision-making into the robot can facilitate obstacle detection and real-time decision-making to enable fully autonomous movement. These advancements will enhance the robot’s adaptability and accuracy in navigation and positioning.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges surrounding the inefficient use of e-parking applications in Semarang, Indonesia, where issues such as illegal parking and an underperforming digital infrastructure have resulted in lost regional revenue from parking fees. The lack of a robust, user-friendly system has hindered user adoption and limited the application’s effectiveness in managing urban parking. To address these concerns, we developed a modernized e-parking application focused on enhancing usability and system performance. The application design prioritizes intuitive user interaction and seamless integration with existing parking infrastructure. Usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 80, indicating a high level of user satisfaction and ease of use. In addition, we conducted a comparative analysis of two communication protocols—RESTful and Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP)—during key application processes, such as vehicle check-in and check-out transactions. Results revealed that AMQP significantly outperformed RESTful in terms of Quality of Service (QoS), particularly with lower response times and minimal packet loss. AMQP consistently met TIPHON standards, achieving a QoS index score of 4, further supporting its suitability for real-time transaction systems in urban environments. This study highlights the critical role of technology optimization in addressing urban mobility issues, reducing illegal parking, and improving public service efficiency. Looking ahead, future development should focus on refining secondary features and introducing new capabilities such as reservation systems, dynamic pricing, and real-time availability tracking to further enhance user engagement and operational effectiveness. The findings emphasize the potential of well-designed e-parking systems to transform urban parking management through smart, scalable technology.

Abstract

Desa Kaligentong merupakan rintisan Desa Wisata Budaya sejak tahun 2017. Pemerintah membangun argo wisata untuk mendukung potensi dari desa. Terdapat 15 RT yang memiliki kelompok kesenian di Desa Kaligentong mulai dari seni tari, reog, rodat, dll. Selain itu, potensi lain terlihat dari sisi peternakan karena Boyolali terkenal dengan produk susu. Sehingga kedua potensi tersebut layak untuk dikembangkan agar lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat. Permasalahan selama ini adalah kondisi pengelolaan data dari Desa Kaligentong masih disajikan secara konvensional yaitu berbentuk data tertulis, kurang akurat dan informatif. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini tim pengusul memberikan solusi untuk mengimplementasikan peta digital kesenian dan peternakan yang menyajikan informasi secara akurat, informatif, serta bisa diakses melalui website dan aplikasi. Sistem pemetaan ini memperlihatkan titik-titik lokasi dan detail informasi mengenai kelompok kesenian dan peternakan. Manfaat yang didapatkan bagi perangkat desa yaitu memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan pendataan potensi warga.

Abstract

Using minimal transmission power, Long-Range Wide Area Networks (LoRaWAN) enable the transmission of data via radio connections from sensors, which may be remote or challenging to reach, to gateways and servers linked to mobile networks for data processing, exchange, or relay, so generating numerous applications for object monitoring and tracking. Nonetheless, owing to its attributes of low data rates for low-power communications, information transmission utilizing LoRa technology is inadequate for rapid real-time data monitoring. Moreover, the narrow bandwidth of LoRa modulation techniques will yield minimal accuracy in localization efforts, as it cannot effectively address multipath issues. This paper proposes a multi-standard 3X1 Antenna Array and a LoRa end device that accurately measures locations using 3X1 technology and transmits this location data to the gateway and Internet of Things Network via LoRa. Measurement outcomes in both indoor and outdoor environments indicate that Antenna Array 3X1 achieves localization accuracy at the sub-meter level, specifically between 10 and 33 cm. Furthermore, Antenna Array 3X1 demonstrates ranges of 124 m in Line-of-Sight (LOS) scenarios and 55 m in Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) scenarios, respectively.

Abstract

Yayasan Nurul Ulum Semarang (Yayasan NU Pungkuran) mengelola SD dan SMP Pungkuran dengan komitmen memberikan pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam. Namun, pengelolaan keuangan yang masih manual menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pemantauan data real-time, pencarian informasi, dan pengambilan keputusan, serta keterbatasan akses simultan antara admin dan ketua yayasan. Seiring perkembangan teknologi, Financial Technology (fintech) dapat menjadi solusi bagi yayasan pendidikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi keuangan. Oleh karena itu, Tim PKM mengembangkan sistem laporan keuangan berbasis web/aplikasi yang memungkinkan pelaporan jarak jauh dengan akses real-time. Sistem ini akan mempermudah administrasi, mempercepat pencatatan keuangan, serta meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Program ini menargetkan luaran berupa publikasi ilmiah, pengembangan teknologi tepat guna, dan publikasi di media massa. Dengan implementasi sistem ini, Yayasan NU Pungkuran dapat mengelola keuangan lebih efektif, meningkatkan koordinasi internal, serta mempercepat pengambilan keputusan berbasis data.
