Abstract

This study is an observational analytical study using a case-control design. This approach is used to determine the relationship between osteoporosis risk factors (especially Agent factors in John Gordon's Epidemiological Triad theory) with the incidence of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women aged 49–51 years.of consuming nutritious food and monitoring children's nutritional status also worsens the situation. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide health education covering various aspects to increase public knowledge and encourage positive attitudes towards healthy living behaviors to improve their health status. The results of the community service activity show that the community's knowledge, which was previously categorized as adequate, improved to good after the education was conducted, and their attitudes were 100% categorized as good. Statistical tests showed a P-value of 0.001 (<0.005), indicating a significant relationship between the education activity and the improvement in public knowledge. Therefore, effective health education and outreach are urgently needed to improve public knowledge and attitudes, particularly concerning individual and group health. Local health workers need to collaborate with the Bondat Village government to provide education on disease prevention and other health issues to improve the community's health quality.
