Abstract

This study looks at how macroeconomic variables such as inflation and exchange rates, as well as internal issues such as bad debts and loan-to-deposit ratio, affect bank profitability as determined by return on assets. Using the eviews 12.0 program, panel data regression is used as an analytical tool in this study. There are 47 banks in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2018 and 2022. The results concluded that External factors are factors that have a stronger influence on profitability because after testing simultaneously there are two significant variables, namely inflation and exchange rates and for internal factors only one variable, namely non-performing loans so that external factors are stronger on the profitability of conventional banks in the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Marriage is the union of two individuals in a sacred life together, but is often tested by various challenges. Pastoral counseling is a solution to help couples overcome problems and build a harmonious relationship. A theological perspective provides a strong spiritual and moral foundation in forming a healthy marital relationship. It views marriage as a spiritual calling, where partners are united by God to complement each other on a spiritual journey. The moral foundation of religious teachings becomes a guide in resolving conflicts and making constructive decisions. Prayer is a means of communication with God, providing guidance and strength in facing problems. Forgiveness and unconditional love are important values taught by religion, helping couples navigate conflict wisely. Pastoral counseling with a theological approach helps couples overcome marital dynamics by strengthening their relationship in accordance with the principles of religious teachings.
