Abstract

When people hear the word algorithm, they definitely think it has something to do with programming languages, computer science, mathematics, and lots of numbers. This is true because algorithms are closely related to computer science. An algorithm is a certain series of logical steps to solve a problem. A collection or series of instructions designed to solve a problem is called a program. And writing a program in a programming language is called programming. Programming algorithms are the basic things you need to know and are the first step in the programming process. Algorithms can be presented in two ways, namely written or illustrated, following a method or following the programmer's steps. The purpose of writing this article is to find out basic concepts or initial understanding of programming algorithms. In this article the author uses a method, namely the literature study or library research method. The literature study method used is also accompanied by bibliometrics. The results of this research describe the characteristics, basic structure, functions, notation and examples of programming algorithms.

Abstract

This study is a mini observation of literature that aims to examine the use of Mathway software in supporting students’ computational thinking skills during mathematics learning. The research method is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), by reviewing a number of relevant articles using Google Scholar. The results of the study indicate that the use of Mathway can help students understand the steps to solve problems systematically, improve analytical skills, problem solving, and understanding of mathematical concepts. In addition, this application is also able to increase learning motivation because it presents an interactive and interesting process. However, the use of Mathway needs to be done in a balanced way so that students do not depend entirely on the application and continue to develop understanding through other learning resources. Therefore, Mathway can function as an effective tool in learning as an improvement in students’ computational thinking skills in this digital age.

Abstract

Teknologi membuat dunia pendidikan lebih mudah. Guru dapat menggunakan media audio visual dan lainnya untuk memenuhi persyaratan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan seberapa baik pemakaian media audio visual dalam kegiatan belajar matematika mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Studi literatur review adalah jenis penelitian yang mengumpulkan data dari penelitian sebelumnya dan kemudian mengumpulkan dan merangkum hasilnya secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran audio visual berfungsi dengan baik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Ditunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audiovisual dapat mendorong siswa untuk berpartisipasi dengan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, yang menghasilkan peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan mereka.
