Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan pengujian pengaruh diameter pipa injector udara terhadap kinerja air lift pump. Kinerja nya yaitu banyaknya kapasitas debit udara dari pompa kompresor yang mampu menghasilkan dorongan udara secara vertikal melalui pipa injector dan mampu mengangkat air sehingga menghasilkan debit aliran air yang mampu dialirkan terhadap pengaruh debit aliran udara dari pompa kompresor udara. Penelitian ini menggunakan diameter pipa empat variasi diantaranya diameter 8 mm, 0,8 mm, 0,54 mm, 0,31 mm. Dan variasi diameter injector dalam berbentuk kerucut yaitu ukuran 1 inchi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan efek yang nyata pada kinerja pompa ketika dioperasikan dengan berbagai jenis injektor berbeda. Hasil pengujian debit udara dan debit air dengan menggunakan variasi injector diameter 2 inchi dan pipa injektor 8 mm, 0,80 mm, 0,54 mm, dan 0,31 mm dapat dibandingkan bahwa pengujian menggunakan Injektor diameter 2 inchi dan pipa tembaga rata 0,80 mm dengan penyempitan saluran pada injektor hasil nya lebih baik dari variasi injector yang lain, hasil pengujian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa hanya dengan debit udara rata-rata 14,6 SLPM (Standar Liter Per Menit) dapat mengisi penampung air dengan kapasitas 8,8 kg hanya dengan waktu 30,64 liter/detik.

Abstract

The design of the low-flume head open-flume turbine with six blades is designed and built based on the potential of Indonesia's remote areas which have adequate water flow to build power plants to meet the energy needs of rural communities and the manufacturing process is easy. When other energy sources start to run low and have a negative impact, water can be used as energy that can be used as an energy source for electricity generation that is cheap and does not cause pollution. The purpose of this research is to manufacture energy-efficient micro-hydro power plants (PLTMH) which are included in renewable energy, determine turbine power and efficiency by testing flow variations. The research method was carried out experimentally with an open flume propeller turbine with the parameters of the number of blades 6 blades, at a head of 2 meters and variations in the discharge of 160 Lpm, 180 Lpm, and 200 Lpm. Arduino Mega and load cel and tachometer sensors are used to take torque and rotation data. The flow rate data is taken using a zj-lcd-m flowmeter. After data retrieval is then processed to obtain power and efficiency, then graphs are made of the influence of rotation on torque, the effect of rotation on power, the effect of rotation on efficiency, the ratio of torque and power at 160 Lpm discharge, torque and power ratio at 180 Lpm discharge, torque and power ratio at a discharge of 180 Lpm, a comparison of efficiency and head at a discharge of 160, a comparison of efficiency and head at a discharge of 180, a comparison of efficiency and head at a discharge of 200. The results showed that the process of making a micro hydro power plant (PLTMH) can be done easily, the type of turbine used is a propeller turbine, the number of blades is six blades with a diameter of 0.11 m, a shaft neck diameter of 0.04 m and a head of 2 m, with discharge variations of 160 Lpm, 180 Lpm, and 200 Lpm. Best power 1.5 watt, 2.8 watt, 3.4 watt. Best turbine efficiency 2.88%, 4.77%, 5.20%

Abstract

The interaction of turbine blades with vortex flow in micro-hydro power plants based on gravity vortex is still not clearly clarified, therefore numerical simulation is a tool to produce flow visualization that helps analyze the performance of experimental results. This study aims to compare the performance of a gravity vortex flow power generator using a conical basin with a inclined backward and inclined forward blade design using a numerical simulation approach. The simulation begins by validating the results of torque performance and visualizing the flow of experimental research conducted by previous researchers, then the simulation settings are used to compare the performance of the inclined backward and inclined forward blade turbine designs with variations in turbine rotation speed of 80, 120, 160 and 180 rpm. The simulation results show that the curved backward blade performance is better than the forward curved blade which is supported by visualizing the free surface flow and static pressure contours on the blade surface.

Abstract

Kinetic energy originating from liquid jets at high speed can be used as an energy source for liquid-gas ejector devices. An ejector is a tool often used to support one of the processes in the industry, such as vacuum process, desalination, distillation, and refrigeration. The ejector consists of several main components: the nozzle, suction chamber, mixing chamber or throat, and diffuser. These components influence each other, so that system performance is sensitive to the performance of these components. The diffuser functions as a dynamic head converter into a static head. Its performance is affected by its dimensions, so it needs to be investigated. This study aims to determine the effect profile of a diffuser with a divergence angle of 2β 7° and a diffuser with a tiered divergence angle of 2β. This study uses an experimental method with a motive flow pressure for the primary fluid of 201.32 kPa. This study found that changes in length and the angle of divergence of the diffuser affect the value of the pressure recovery coefficient and efficiency.

Abstract

Pariwisata saat in menjadi salah satu sektor primadona yang diharapakan dapat memberikan dampak positif pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan wilayah. Kebangkitan sektor pariwisata setelah pandemi memerlukan upaya-upaya baru agar kegiatan wisata memiliki ketangguhan dalam menghadapi segala situasi yang mungkin terjadi di masa yang akan dating. Desa Wisata Sermo Hargowilis yang terletak di Kapanewon Kokap merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang saat ini sedang berupaya mengembangkan alternative-alternatif wisata untuk menarik kehadiran wisatawan domestic maupun mancanegara. Desa wisata tersebut memiliki beragam atraksi wisata, salah satunya atraksi wisata alam yang terdapat di Kawasan Kalitaji, Dusun Soka. Lembah Kalitaji memiliki potensi wisata alam yang sangat baik, didukung oleh kekayaan biodiversitas yang memadai, salah satunya adalah potensi fauna berupa burung. Wisata minat khusus seperti kegiatan pengamatan burung telah berkembang di beberapa tempat, dengan melahirkan banyak komunitas pecinta burung, potensi wisata ini dikenal dengan sebutan Avitourism. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengembangkan avitourism sebagai salah satu alternatif atraksi wisata di Desa Wisata Sermo sekaligus menjadi upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan dalam pemetaan potensi avitourism, melalui identifikasi jenis dan habitat burung, serta peningkatan kapasitas SDM dalam mengelola avitourism kedepan. Hal ini menjawab kebutuhan desa wisata untuk pemetaan potensi dan penguatan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia pariwisata melalui pelatihan dan pembekalan pengetahuan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan selanjutnya dilaksanakan pembekalan dan pelatihan tentang avitourism untuk warga masyarakat.

Abstract

Dalam upaya mengembangkan kendaraan listrik dapat dilakukan dengan menyediakan infrastruktur yang memungkinkan masyarakat pengguna kendaraan listrik untuk mengisi baterai kendaraan listrik yaitu Charging Station sepeda di lokasi yang mudah dijangkau, selain pengisian di rumah. Memasang charger di rumah memiliki berbagai tantangan, antara lain jika energi di rumah tidak mencukupi untuk mengisi kendaraan listrik, maka harus dibangun dengan instalasi listrik yang baru. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk merancang carger station dengan sumber energi PLTS berbasis energi terbarukan dimana energi listrik dapat diperoleh langsung dari PLTS yang dipasangkan pada atap carger station. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa kondisi cuaca sangat berpengaruh terhadap daya dan arus yang dihasilkan panel surya untuk menyuplai baterai pada sepeda listrik dimana pada kondisi yang sangat cerah daya yang dihasilkan lebih maksimal dibandingkan dengan kondisi cuaca yang mendung.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of using a shroud mounted on an anila biomass gasification furnace. The casing functions as a guide and heats the air that will enter the combustion chamber. The method used in this study is an experimental method. The type of furnace used in the experiment is a biomass anila furnace. This furnace is made of metal. The casing is attached to the outside and envelops the furnace. Measurements made between long flame, starting time, and flame stability. The test results show that the average startup time is 10 minutes. long flame flame with cover is 87.79 minutes, while without cover is 72.28 minutes. The stability of the flame using the casing is more stable than without the casing.

Abstract

Mechanization of production equipment in UMKM an effort to increase productivity needs to get attention from higher education academics. UMKM Sari Jampi is an UMKM which operates in the field of processing herbal products. One of the products produced is the wedang uwuh This concoction requires sliced ​​ginger as one of the components in the concoction. The process of slicing ginger from the rhizome into thin flakes has been using a mechanical slicer. This slicing tool has limitations, namely inconsistent thickness, processing time, and the amount of labor. The equipment mechanization process is carried out by changing the driving force from human power to power from an electric motor. The previously reciprocal slicing mechanism has been changed to rotational. The results of this mechanization provide results in the form of thinner and more consistent slice quality, one person is required to work instead of two, and production capacity increases from 4 kg per hour to 20 kg per hour.

Abstract

The utilization of New and Renewable Energy is being accelerated by the Indonesian Government. And one of the renewable energy resources that can be explored is solar energy. The potential for solar energy in Indonesia is very large, which is around 4.8 kWh/m2 or equivalent to 112,000 GWp, but only around 10 MWp has been utilized. The percentage of the value of Solar Power Plants that have been built in Indonesia is also only around 0.05% of the total power plants under the operation of PT. PLN (Persero). The ITNY campus has several tall buildings that have elongated roof contours and without shadow barriers from other buildings. Therefore, in this study, a Solar Power Plant plan will be made that will be installed on the roof of one of the buildings on the ITNY campus and operate On-Grid with electricity from PLN. The roof of the building used is Building A with an effective roof area that can be installed with a PLTS installation of 644 m2 divided into two sides, namely north and south. This On-Grid PLTS system will serve the electrical load of Building A of around 105,000 kW with loads in the form of lighting, power outlets and AC power. The result of this planning is a Roof-Top PLTS On-Grid system design that serves the electrical load for Building A. So it is hoped that with this PLTS system it is expected to reduce the monthly electricity bill of the ITNY Campus.

Abstract

Sistem independen yang saling terkait untuk menciptakan prinsip gerakan maupun stabilitas pengendaliannya merupakan sistem penting yang ada pada sarana trasportasi. Sistem penunjang transportasi kususnya pada mobil yang cukup vital adalah sistem kemudi dan sistem kinerja dinamis mesin. Keduanya memiliki peran penting sebagai penunjang stabilitas dan performa dalam operasional mobil. Publikasi ini menjelaskan studi analisis dinamika penggerakan kendaraan, analisis sistem pengereman, serta analisis sistem kemudi (Ackerman). Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis sistem kemudi dan kinerja dinamis mobil yang sangat populer di Indonesia, yaitu Daihatsu Ayla tipe 1.0 MT tahun 2017. Hasil menunjukan bahwa daya puncak mobil 65,8 Ps pada 5920 rpm, torsi puncak 96,47 Nm pada 3600 rpm, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai kecepatan maksimal 55,5 m/s adalah 27,053 s. Selain itu karena Daihatsu Ayla adalah mobil berpenggerak depan, distribusi pengereman cenderung di roda depan karena berat mobil cenderung lebih berat di bagian depan. Daihatsu Ayla juga memiliki batas kecepatan aman ketika berbelok, apabila mobil berbelok melewati batas kecepatan, resiko mobil tergelincir dan terguling akan semakin besar.
