Abstract

Adolescence is vulnerable to deviant behaviour, therefore the role of the family, especially parents, is needed in supervising their children, especially teenagers. Reports from previous researchers found a high rate of teenage pregnancies before marriage and these rates have always shown an increase until now. Precisely that this research is to analyse what are the factors that cause teenage pregnancies before marriage and as solutions to prevent them. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data were taken from six informants by direct interviews. All data were then analysed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The research findings show three factors causing this behaviour to occur; i) low parental supervision, ii) falling into promiscuity, iii) lack of understanding of religion. Furthermore, three ways of prevention are i) the need for parental supervision, ii) the collaboration of all parties in the community and iii) instilling religious knowledge in adolescents.

Abstract

Persons with disabilities with limited walking (leg disabilities) need assistive devices in carrying out life routines, especially praying at the Mosque. Current data show that 10% of the world's population or 65 million people are those with walking limitations (foot disabilities). Therefore, it is necessary to design a wheelchair that is more innovative and responsive so that the movement of people with disabilities is more assisted and flexible. This article will discuss how the author designs and manufactures wheelchairs to help people with disabilities perform prayers at the mosque. The name for the product made is Wheelchair design. To design the product the author uses the prototype method, this method is carried out by identifying problems, analyzing user needs, designing products according to user needs, making products that have been planned. This design is one of the technological development innovations in Islam as a religion that teaches its people to innovate in various scientific aspects. Besides that, this tool is actually very helpful for people with disabilities in making it easier for them to carry out worship at the mosque.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much impact the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers has on student achievement in elementary schools. This study used a quantitative method with a correlation type, the data source was taken by using a questionnaire to twenty respondents, and the data were analyzed using Excel 2013. The results of the analysis showed that the teacher's competence obtained a calculated value of 0.41, while the r table was 0.44 at the level significant 5% and N = 20, the results of the analysis obtained that the calculated value < table value (0.41 < 0.44), it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the competency of Islamic Religious Education teachers and student achievement. The results of this study can be used as initial data for future researchers in examining different issues related to this problem and various other issues that are relevant to this context.

Abstract

The formation of female students' character is very important in facing social, cultural, and social challenges in the modern era. The Annisa Forum at SMA Negeri 12 Padang plays a role in forming students' character through strengthening Islamic values, discipline, leadership, and social awareness. This study aims to understand the school's efforts in forming the character of female students through the Annisa Forum, identify the forms of activities carried out, and analyze the obstacles in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the school and students, and documentation analysis. The results of the study indicate that character formation is carried out through motivation and habituation. Annisa Forum activities include opening, delivering materials, question and answer sessions, and closing. The obstacles faced include limited space, lack of mentors, low student awareness, lack of methods and media, minimal teacher supervision, and lack of firmness in implementing attendance rules. In conclusion, the Annisa Forum has an important role in forming the character of female students, but still requires improvements in facilities, methods, and supervision to be more effective.

Abstract

Abstract: This socialization was provided for students as prospective teachers in overcoming students' lack of interest in reading. According to the results of Rapor Pendidikan Indonesia in 2023, especially the main indicator of students' literacy skills, which this year was 49.26%, decreased by 4.59 from 2021 (53.85%) (Ministry of Education, Culture, 2023). It also happenned in Indonesia in 2022 (UNESCO). Indonesia was still ranked 60th out of 70 countries. This shows that the literacy skills of Indonesian students are getting lower (Ramadhan, 2023). Of course, it is not much different in Asahan Regency. Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the Integrated School Field Introduction (PLPT) course activities in several schools in Asahan Regency in 2024, students' interest in reading texts was very low, which had an impact on their learning outcomes, especially in understanding reading. One of the causes is the teaching materials that are not interesting. Therefore, the integration of local wisdom into teaching materials needs to be done so that they become more interested and motivated. The integration in question was socialized to students as prospective teachers because the knowledge they gained will be conveyed and applied to their students later (Rosyada et al., 2022). Keywords: integration, reading literacy, reading interest, local wisdom Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pembekalan kepada mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dalam mengatasi kurang minatnya siswa untuk membaca. Menurut hasil Rapor Pendidikan Indonesia tahun 2023 terutama indikator utama kemampuan literasi siswa yang tahun ini 49,26% mengalami penurunan 4,59 dari 2021 (53,85%) (Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, 2023). Sama halnya dengan kemampuan literasi siswa Indonesia tahun 2022 (UNESCO). Indonesia masih berada pada peringkat ke-60 dari 70 negara. Ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa Indonesia semakin rendah (Ramadhan, 2023). Tentu tidak jauh berbeda di Kabupaten Asahan. Berdasarkan hasil monitoring dan evaluasi pada kegiatan mata kuliah Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan Terpadu (PLPT) di beberapa sekolah di Kabupaten Asahan tahun 2024, minat siswa untuk membaca teks sangatlah rendah sehingga berdampak terhadap hasil belajar mereka terutama dalam memahami bacaan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah bahan ajar yang kurang menarik. Oleh karena itu, pengintegrasian kearifan lokal ke dalam bahan ajar perlu dilakukan supaya mereka menjadi lebih tertarik dan termotivasi. Pengintegrasian yang dimaksud disosialisasikan kepada mahasiswa sebagai calon guru karena pengetahuan yang mereka peroleh akan disampaikan dan diterapkan kepada siswa mereka nanti (Rosyada et al., 2022).Kata kunci: integrasi, kearifan lokal, literasi membaca, minat membaca
