Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of content mastery services to improve the learning skills of grade XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 8 North Bengkulu. This research method uses a one-group pre-test post-test design experiment. The population of this study was the entire class XI of science. The sampling technique used is random intact group sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of student learning skills. The data analysis technique in this study uses a Test-test (Paired Sample Test). The results obtained in this study show the influence of content mastery services on students' learning skills. This means that students' learning skills before being given content mastery services are low. Then students' learning skills after being given content mastery services become high. And there is an influence of content mastery services on improving the learning skills of class XI IPA students of State High School. Keywords: content mastery services, self-understanding, students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of group counseling services with problem-free talk techniques on peer pressure in class. This research method uses an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were students of class totaling 34 students. The research sample is 6 students who have a low level of courage to refuse peer pressure. Sampling used is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data analysis technique used the test (paired sample t-test). The results obtained in the study showed an increase in students' courage to resist peer pressure after being given group counseling services using the problem-free talk technique. This can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing with t test results of -8.648 meaning that there is a significant effect on the courage to refuse peer pressure before and after being given group counseling services using the problem-free talk technique for students. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of group counseling services using the expressive writing technique in the form of catharsis on increasing emotional control of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah. Methods This research uses an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were students of class VII B SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah, totaling 30 students. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique with a sample of 6 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The research data were analyzed using statistical analysis with the t test formula. the results of the study are 1. students’ emotional control before being given group counseling service with expressive writing techniques in the form of catharsis are classified as low 2. students’ emotional control after being given group counseling services are classified as high 3. there is an influence of group counseling services with expressive writing techniques in the form of catharsis on increasing emotional control in class VII B of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah. Based on this research, the researchers provide advice to guidance and counseling teachers to provide group counseling services to increase emotional control.Keywords: Emotional Control, Group Counseling, Expressive Writing Technique in the form of Catharsis

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the research was to find out whether class XI IPS 2 students at SMA Negeri 9 North Bengkulu benefited from group counseling services that encouraged the use of self-management strategies to improve study discipline. This research uses quantitative methodology in an experimental environment. Seven students took part in the study. Data was collected using a questionnaire based on learning discipline. The t-test statistic was used to test the data. T=10.425 and sig (2-tailed) 0.000 (0.000 < 0.005) shows that group counseling services with tactics have a significant effect on students' ability to maintain study discipline. The results showed that average scores on tests measuring study discipline were poor before therapy but improved rapidly afterward. Based on the results of this research, students can take advantage of group counseling services provided by guidance and counseling teachers to improve their ability to manage themselves.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of content mastery services to improve self-regulated learning skills in class VIII students of Junior High School Number 3 Bengkulu City. This research used quantitative experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study was 141 students, the sampling technique used intact group random sampling with a total of 25 students. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using t-test and the results of this research show a significant influence of content mastery services on improving self-regulated learning. The average self-regulated learning before being given content mastery service treatment was in the medium category and after being given content mastery service treatment was in the high category. Based on the research results, it is recommended that guidance and counseling teachers be able to use content mastery services to improve self-regulated learning skills.
