Abstract

Feelings are a condition that exists in human consciousness which is influenced by the knowledge possessed and is assessed as a negative and positive state. At the age of 11 years, children should be able to manage emotions and respond well to the expression of their emotions to others, know what is good and bad and the norms that are in force. This study aims to see an increase in the ability to channel feelings in fifth grade students at SD IT Qurthuba through journaling techniques. This research uses quantitative methods. This study has a subject of 20 people. Data collection techniques used in this activity were pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results of the study show that journaling techniques can improve the ability to channel feelings in fifth grade students.

Abstract

Knowledge is a result of something through the senses of an object. Psychoeducation is a provision of information services to the public regarding various psychological knowledge or skills that play a role in dealing with various problems in everyday life. This study aims to determine the effect of psychoeducation through booklets on parents' knowledge about child development in Kindergarten Plus Qurthuba. The research method uses the One Group Design experimental method pre-test and post-test. There were 20 participants in this study. After cleaning the data, 15 participants survived and 5 participants fell. The results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of parents of students in Kindergarten Plus Qurthuba about cognitive development, forms of intelligence, learning styles, and methods and time for memorizing children.
