Abstract

One of the important components in learning is the learning method. There are many types of learning methods, one of which is the problem-based learning method. The problem-based learning method is one of the active learning methods that can be applied by teachers when carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Through problem-based learning, students will be invited to learn independently, find information related to the problem, conduct discussions, find solutions in solving problems and can make conclusions. This article aims to find out how the implementation of problem-based learning methods to improve students' analytical skills in Islamic religious education subjects, the steps in applying problem-based learning methods and the factors that support and hinder the application of problem-based learning methods in Islamic religious education subjects at SMAN 10 Sijunjung. The method used in this research is field research through a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of the data obtained through observation and interviews. The results of the research in this article are that teachers are able to apply problem-based learning methods through the right material, teachers are able to apply the steps and guide students with problem-based learning methods and teachers are able to overcome some of the obstacles faced in applying problem-based learning methods.

Abstract

This article examines the interpretation of the Qur'an and Islamic perspectives on gender equality, focusing on transgender issues. The study explores how Islam, through Qur'anic verses and prophetic traditions, provides guidelines on gender identity, equal rights, and human dignity. Islam views humans as inherently equal and honorable, without gender-based discrimination. However, the transgender issue, particularly involving gender transitions or non-binary identities, sparks diverse interpretations among classical and contemporary scholars. The article also reviews how Islamic law perceives gender reassignment and the social status of transgender individuals in society. By analyzing verses such as QS. Al-Hujurat [49:13], QS. An-Nisa' [4:1], and QS. At-Taubah [9:71], along with contemporary scholarly literature, this study seeks to offer a balanced and just perspective on understanding this issue, rooted in the principles of justice, compassion, and humanity in Islam.

Abstract

This journal explores the crucial role of Islamic religious education in forming character starting in the younger generation. Islamic religious education plays an important role in forming the noble character of the younger generation, through the teachings of morals, ethics and Islamic values, students are given a frame of mind to develop good and responsible behavior. Islamic religious education also provides guidance on piety, justice and empathy, which are essential for building a positive personality. By immersing themselves in Islamic religious values, the younger generation can become individuals who have integrity, independence and a sense of caring for others. Apart from that, Islamic religious education can help form an attitude of tolerance and respect for diversity, creating a harmonious and inclusive social environment. This research uses a literature analysis and empirical research approach, the author identifies the positive impact of Islamic religious learning on the development of morals, ethics and personality values in students. This article also highlights the challenges and opportunities in integrating Islamic religious teachings with character education in the context of modern education. The research results show that the effective implementation of Islamic religious education can make a significant contribution to the formation of noble character, providing a strong moral foundation for the younger generation to face the complex challenges of today's life.
