Abstract

Manajemen risiko merupakan serangkaian penilaian, identifikasi, dan penyusunan prioritas risiko yang disusun secara proaktif dengan maksud meminimalkan terjadinya Kejadian Tidak diinginkan (KTD) dan risiko lain yang mengancam keselamatan pasien dan staff. Tujuan: Studi literatur ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengimplementasian program manajemen risiko pada pelayanan kesehatan. Metode: Pencarian artikel jurnal dilakukan pada tiga database jurnal, yaitu Google Scholar, Proquest, dan Springer. Terdapat 236 artikel yang didapatkan dalam proses pencarian jurnal dan 6 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dilakukan review lebih lanjut. Hasil: hasil review artikel menunjukan bahwa penerapan manajemen risiko penting dilakukan untuk meminimalkan risiko terjadinya insiden yang mengancam keselamatan pasien. Faktor kunci dalam penerapan manajemen risiko di rumah sakit mencakup pengetahuan staff, kepemimpinan, kebijakan strategis rumah sakit, dan ada tidaknya posisi penanggung jawab program yang memastikan berjalannya program manajemen risiko. Kesimpulan: efektivitas program manajemen risiko dengan pembuatan kebijakan strategis pada pelayanan kesehatan dan pembentukan penanggungjawab program agar program berjalan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Nurse performance is an important parameter in improving the quality of health services. Nurse performance is influenced by several factors such as individual factors, psychological and organizational factors. The need for support for nurse performance can also be increased through an employee engagement approach. This study aims to identify the determinants factors of nurse performance in implementing infection prevention and control using the theory of employee engagement during a pandemic. This study uses the literature review method. Article search uses 4 journal databases from 2019-2023 which were reviewed including Garuda, Google Scholar, Pubmed and Scient Direct and fifteen articles met the criteria. The results showed that the determinants of nurse performance using employee engagement theory were leadership and organization. Nurse performance influences employee engagement, engaged nurses will have high work engagement and nurses who are not engaged will have low work engagement. The implementation of employee engagement during the pandemic there were still several factors that had not been widely intervened, so further research is needed to find out how the theory of employee engagement is applied to find out the performance factors of nurses in implementing infection prevention and control.

Abstract

As people gets older can increase health problems due to degenerative processes, thus requiring long-term care. Nurses as providers of palliative nursing care are based on nursing philosophy as a guide for acting and behaving in providing nursing care. Provide scientific information to nurses related to the role of philosophy of science in the development of palliative nursing practice that supports the implementation of long-term care in elderly. A literature review study, using various databases from Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct and Research Gate. The inclusion criteria for searching for literature sources is the year of publication of the articles used starting from 2017 to 2022, in English, Indonesian and full articles. The search keywords are, nursing philosophy, nursing theory, palliative nursing, palliative care. Article selection was carried out using PRISMA and critical appraisal with a final total of 20 articles. The provision of palliative care to patients is carried out through a philosophical approach that emphasizes optimal quality of life and function, mitigates symptoms that cause sadness and promotes the values of care that focuses on comfort so as to reduce suffering and improve the quality of life of patients and families. Palliative nursing includes an understanding of the disease, pain management, and general symptoms, and follow-up care planning. Nurses are expected to make the philosophy of nursing as a basic of human as a holistic being in providing palliative nursing care.
