Abstract

The young adult family is the stage that begins when the first child decides to leave the parental home. The tasks of family development at this stage include helping and preparing children to be independent, maintaining harmony with a partner, expanding the nuclear family into a large family, preparing to take care of a large family entering old age, and providing examples to children regarding a positive home environment. According to most people, this stage is a stage full of stressors and is prone to suffering from diseases, one of which is diabetes mellitus. Based on the results of the assessment of the family of Mr. This family type is a nuclear family with a young adult stage of development where the child is 19 years old. In the family of Mr. S, it was found that Mr. S suffered from diabetes mellitus since 1 year ago, Mr. S likes to consume sweet foods, Mr. S was also lazy to exercise because his legs hurt, Mr. S also did not know how to reduce diabetes mellitus other than taking medication given by the doctor. The purpose of this study is to describe foot exercises in families who experience diabetes mellitus to determine the effectiveness of foot exercises on lowering blood glucose. This research method is a case study conducted with foot exercise therapy for 6 meetings with 10-15 minutes, foot exercise treatment intervention and diabetes mellitus education. The results of this study are that post foot gymnastics therapy Mr. S experienced different results, namely before being done. S experienced different results, namely before foot gymnastics in patients with diabetes mellitus with GDS 249 mg / dL then after foot gymnastics became GDS 150 mg.dL which was carried out for 6 days of meetings with 10-15 minutes. The conclusion of this study is that while providing foot gymnastics techniques effectively reduce glucose in the blood felt by Mr. S so that it decreased by 99 mg / dL. S so that it decreased by 99 mg/dL.

Abstract

Background: Community health nursing is a professional nursing service provided holistically (bio, psycho, social and spiritual) and focused on high risk groups which aims to improve health status through promotive and preventive efforts without neglecting curative and rehabilitative by involving the community as partners in solve health problems that occur in society. Research Objective: To provide an overview of community nursing care in increasing the level of optimal healthy living in the community of RW 003, Sangiang Jaya Village, Periuk District, Tangerang City. Research Results: After carrying out hypertension exercises for three days, the results were obtained before carrying out physical activity in the form of hypertension exercises, the blood pressure of the residents of RW 03 Sangiang Jaya, Periuk, Tangerang was 6 people BP 100-120, 8 people BP >120-140 and 9 people BP >150 mmHg, but after doing hypertension exercises for 3 days it showed that 9 people had BP 100-120, 12 people had BP >120-140, and 2 people had BP >150 mmHg. It can be concluded that there was a decrease in BP after doing hypertension exercises for 3 days.

Abstract

Group activity therapy is one of the therapeutic modalities carried out by nurses for groups of elderly people who have the same nursing problems. Group activities for elderly people who have the same nursing problems. Activities are used as therapy and groups as targets of care. Guess the picture is a light brain teaser game, tests imagination, logic and reasoning, guess the picture is a form of game where from the results of this game participants can enjoy the activities they do so that the game can reduce boredom and can assess gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language, cognitive and socialization according to age level. Activity Objective: It is hoped that elderly people can train their sensory, motor and cognitive abilities with cognitive therapy in the form of guessing pictures. Activity Method: Providing Group Activity Therapy by guessing pictures, TAK is carried out on clients with physical conditions that allow it (for example: being able to move body parts such as hands), clients who are managed by students of the Yatsi Madani University Nursing professional program and cooperative clients. Activity Results: Observation results showed that the elderly were cooperative and every question from the team was answered well by the elderly with the picture in question. The achievement of the target of the picture guessing group therapy activity was quite good, because the material was delivered in its entirety (100%).
