Abstract

Computational Thinking penting karena menjadi landasan bagi pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan dalam merumuskan masalah, menguraikan masalah menjadi langkah-langkah logis, merancang algoritma, dan memahami konsep abstrak secara lebih mendalam. Kaitan antara computational thinking dan matematika sangat erat karena matematika itu sendiri melibatkan pemikiran logis, pemecahan masalah, dan pengenalan pola. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan Computational Thinking dengan Pemahaman Konsep matematika pada materi pola bilangan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes uraian. Dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 79 siswa kelas VIII dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan computational thinking dengan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi pola bilangan. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan computational thinking agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dari siswa.

Abstract

Grace bakery is a home industry in making bread. The problem experienced by Grace Bakery is that Grace Bakery has not planned to optimize bread production, this has caused losses for Grace Bakery and sales have not been maximized. This research aims to formulate a mathematical model for optimizing bread production using integer goal programming and to obtain optimization results for bread production planning using integer goal programming with the help of the Lingo application. The method used to solve this integer goal programming problem is branch and bound. By using integer goal programming, the branch and bound method and with the help of the Lingo application, the research results show that Grace Bakery must produce 3993 chocolate breads, 1334 cheese breads and 4237 mocha breads every month so that Grace Bakery will earn a maximum income of Rp. 17.280.000. Revenue will reach optimal results if all the bread is sold out and there is no increase in raw materials. Grace bakery can also reduce production costs to Rp. 11.670.092,5 every month.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT is applied in education as a tool in the learning process that plays a role in increasing access to information quickly and directly, so that students can more easily understand the material. The use of ChatGPT in modeling courses is triggered by satisfactory learning results, and in the learning process it is more time efficient and makes it easier for students to understand complex material in mathematical modeling courses. This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Manado on students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed online, as well as documentation of student learning outcomes with data analysis using a Likert Scale to measure student perceptions, including comfort of use, quality of information, and motivation to learn, evaluate, and use technology. The results showed that students benefited in the learning process due to the quick and relevant information from ChatGPT, as well as its ability to provide detailed answers. ChatGPT is considered to help their understanding in dealing with abstract concepts that often appear in mathematical modeling. On the other hand, students feel that the use of this AI still requires direct support from lecturers, especially for tasks that require critical and independent thinking. Although ChatGPT cannot replace the lecturer's role completely, its presence is supported to complement learning in a more efficient and interactive way, and allow students to learn more independently and actively

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII SMP N 3 Kombi dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk aljabar menurut teori Kastolan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu tes tertulis. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 3 Kombi berjumlah 8 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, terdapat tiga jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa setelah menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk aljabar yaitu kesalahan konseptual sebesar 25% atau sebanyak 2 orang siswa, kesalahan Prosedural sebesar 37,5% atau 3 orang siswa, dan kesalahan teknik sebesar 37,5% atau sebanyak 3 orang siswa, faktor penyebab kesalahan adalah siswa tidak mampu memilih dan menerapkan rumus untuk menyelesaikan soal, serta faktor penyebab kesalahan prosedural siswa adalah siswa kesulitan dalam menuliskan langkah-langkah dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan faktor penyebab kesalahan teknik adalah kurangnya ketelitian, serta siswa tidak mengecek kembali hasil pekerjaannya.

Abstract

Population growth that continues to increase will have a positive and negative impact. To anticipate the occurrence of negative impacts, we have to make forecasts about population growth. This study aims to forecast population growth in Tomohon City using differential equations called Exponential Model of Population Growth and Logistic Model of Population Growth. In this study, the authors used population data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in Tomohon City. The authors took data in 2015-2024. The results showed that the most appropriate exponential model to forecast the number of population is a model with k = 0.00297402 and the forecast number of population in Tomohon City in 2025 is 104.121 people. Meanwhile, the most appropriate logistic model to forecast the number of population is a model with r = 0.05283328 and the forecast number of population in Tomohon City in 2025 (t = 10) is 104,113 people

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam perencanaan pembangunan daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun model matematika berbasis eksponensial dalam menganalisis laju pertumbuhan populasi penduduk di Kabupaten Minahasa, Sulawesi Utara. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Minahasa untuk periode tahun 2017 hingga 2021. Pendekatan model eksponensial digunakan dengan asumsi bahwa laju pertumbuhan penduduk sebanding dengan jumlah populasi pada waktu tertentu. Model dikembangkan melalui penghitungan konstanta pertumbuhan kkk untuk setiap tahun, yang menunjukkan nilai bervariasi antara 0,397% hingga 1,502% per tahun. Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa model eksponensial mampu memprediksi jumlah penduduk dengan tingkat akurasi yang cukup baik jika dibandingkan dengan data aktual. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alat bantu dalam merumuskan kebijakan kependudukan dan perencanaan pembangunan di daerah. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk pengembangan model lebih lanjut dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor eksternal lain yang mempengaruhi dinamika populasi.
