Abstract

The Helmet Community is a form of group communication that is formed due to a common interest in something, especially Helmets. This study aims to test whether there is consumptive behavior in the BTS Helmet Community (Biker Team Sunmori) in Bogor City. This study applied a quantitative approach and the sample consisted of 22 respondents who are members of the BTS helmet community (Biker Team Sunmori). Saturated sampling was used in this study, meaning that the entire population was used as the research sample. Observation and data collection techniques using quantitative methods. IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 for Windows software is used to process data that meets the criteria of validity and simple regression tests. The results of the statistical assessment can be seen that there is an influence between the independent variable group communication on the dependent variable Consumptive Behavior. Based on the calculation of the determinant coefficient, it is known that the group communication variable is 0.18 or 18%, while the remaining 82% of other variables are not examined in this study. Therefore, this research proves that group communication has a positive effect but the status is not strong (weak) on consumptive behavior in the BTS (Biker Team Sunmori) community in Bogor City.

Abstract

Social change is the process of changing the structure or order of society, including more innovative ways of thinking and attitudes towards social life for a more dignified life. Figures who voiced social change include: Kingsley Davis, Mac Iver, Selo Soemarjan, William Ogburn. The tendency towards social change is a symptom that arises from the interaction of human life in society. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Cibening village government has been able to empower the community through several empowerment programs, namely: first institutional activation, second increasing community participation by implementing community service activities, village musrenbang and physical development, third increasing the productive economy by activities to provide fish feed and seeds to farming communities. However, in implementing community empowerment efforts, the Cibening village government experienced obstacles including lack of community participation, a lazy culture and a lack of facilities available to support empowerment activities.

Abstract

This community service research aims to determine the local potential of the Gunung Bunder II village area which can be used as a village innovation. This Community Service research was conducted in Gunung Bunder II village with the subject of village community. This study uses qualitative descriptive method with data analysis in the form of phenomenological analysis to describe the condition of Gunung Bunder II village objectively. Data collection methods include observation and interviews. This study was conducted for less than three months starting from June 12 to September 9, 2023. From the results of the study, it was found that the Gunung Bunder II village area is rich in local plantation potential, one of which is sweet potato plantations. From the abundant local potential of sweet potatoes, it is used into an innovation called Terkasih (Sweet Potato Flour Silih Village).
