Abstract

The research "The Effect of Types of Fertilizers on the Growth and Yield of Mustard' (Brassica rapa subsp.)" was carried out from 1 August to 4 September 2022 at Green House Suhargo Farm, Wates Village, Ngrampal District, Sragen Regency, has a brown latosol soil type and is at an altitude 296 meters above sea level. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of various forms of manure on the growth and yield of mustard plants, as well as the dosage and type of fertilizer that gave the highest yields for mustard plants. (Brassica rapa subsp.). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor, namely the type of manure. The first treatment applied in this experiment was broiler kohe fertilizer, at the first level using doses of A1 = 16.98 g/polybag, A2 = 22.96 g/polybag, A3 = 50.94 g/polybag. For the second treatment, the administration of cow kohe fertilizer at a dose of S1 = 5.65 g/polybag, S2 = 11.30 g/polybag, and S3 = 16.95 g/polybag. The last treatment was giving kohe goat fertilizer at a dose of G1 = 11.30 g/polybag, G2 = 22.60 g/polybag, and G3 =33.90 g/polybag. Each treatment was repeated three times, resulting in 27 polybags with two plants per growing medium. To find out the results of each treatment, this study used ANOVA, then for further testing of the data the BNJ test at 5% level was used. The results of this study were that the manure treatment did not affect all plant characteristics including plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, root length, plant dry weight, and fresh weight of mustard greens (Brassica rapa subsp.).The A2 treatment gave the best results on the parameters of plant height (20.50 cm), leaf length (15.67 cm), and leaf width (8.00 cm). Abstract

The research entitled Study of Types of Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Rice (Oriza sativa L.), research on rice with the Mentik Wangi variety was carried out in the rice fields of Dukuh Macanan Village, Jogosetran Village, Jogosetran Village, Kali Kotes District, March to July 2023. This research The aim is to examine types of organic fertilizer compared to inorganic fertilizer on the growth and yield of rice (Oriza sativa L.). The experimental design used was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RAKL) with a single treatment factor which was repeated 4 times and 6 treatments. The types of fertilizer used are pearl NPK fertilizer, organic Ore POC, Local POC, Local POC without eggs and fermented milk, Organic Urea POC. The observation data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Duncan test with a level of 5%. The parameters observed include; plant height, number of tillers in a cluster, number of productive tillers, number of grain in a cluster, weight of grain in a cluster, weight of dry milled grain per plot, weight of 1000 seeds. The research results showed that the use of inorganic fertilizer showed the best results on the growth parameters and yields of rice plants compared to other types of organic fertilizer, but organic Orea POC also showed good results compared to other organic fertilizers on the yield and growth of rice (Oriza sativa L.).

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Concentration and Compound Fertilizer on the Yield of Caisim Mustard (Brassica chinensis) Floating Raft Hydroponic System" was carried out from 30 December 2023 to 23 January 2024 at Green House CV. Multi Global Agrindo, which is located at Dukuh Klatak, Karangpandan Village, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency, with an altitude of 517 masl. This research aims to determine the interaction of compound NPK and Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the growth and yield of caisim mustard greens in a floating raft hydroponic system. The research method used was factorial with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors and including three replications. The research factors have two factors, namely compound NPK treatment and Liquid Organic Fertilizer. The parameters observed include plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, plant stover weight, plant biomass weight, root length, leaf color chart, and organoleptic tests. The data from this research were analyzed using the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that 1) Providing Compound NPK Concentration had a significant effect on Plant Height, Number of Leaves, Leaf Width, Fresh Stove, Fresh Biomass, Plant Biomass, Root Length, Leaf Color Chart, Organoleptic Test 2) Providing liquid Organic Fertilizer treatment had a significant effect on Plant Height, Root Length and Organoleptic Tests 3) The interaction between Compound NPK and Liquid Organic Fertilizer has a significant effect on plant height, root length and leaf color chart. 4) Providing the best treatment in the Liquid Organic Fertilizer concentration treatment of 125 ml/L and NPK 800 ppm which affects the parameters of plant height, root length and leaf color chart.

Abstract

The liquid organic fertilizer used is the OREA brand. The observation data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued by concluding the anova table with a level of 5%. The parameters observed include; plant height, number of tillers in a cluster, number of productive tillers, number of grain in a cluster, weight of grain in a cluster, weight of dry milled grain per plot, weight of 1000 seeds. The results of the research showed that the use of liquid organic fertilizer did not show significantly different results, but the parameters of the number of productive panicles and the weight of milled grain per plot had a significantly different effect on the yield and growth of rice (Oriza sativa L.). Abstract

This study assessed the impact of goat manure on the growth and productivity of turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val.) plants in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unisri, Surakarta, Central Java, from April to July 2024. The objectives of the study were to find the optimal planting media composition for turmeric growth and evaluate the effects of manure dose and planting media variation. The research design used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two components. The first component consisted of four types of planting media: M0 (control soil), M1 (soil & rice husk), M2 (soil & rice husk charcoal), and M3 (soil & cocopeat). The second component is the dose of goat manure (K): K0 (0 g/plant), K1 (150 g/plant), K2 (200 g/plant), and K3 (250 g/plant). Data were analyzed by ANOVA and BNJ test at 5% significance level. This research gives results in the form of 1) Planting media has a significant effect on the wet weight of rhizomes, but has no effect on the number of leaves, the number of buds, and the wet weight of stems. 2) All variables were significantly affected by goat manure treatment. 3) The number of leaves, number of buds, and wet weight of stalks were also significantly affected by the interaction between treatments, while the wet weight of stalks was not affected.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to investigate the effect of planting media and the dose of cow manure on the growth and yield of ginger bucket (Zingiber of icinale var. amarun). The use of research materials includes the rhizome of emprit ginger of the local variety Jumantono, dumplings, cow dung, rice husks, cocopeat, decomposer (M21). The equipment used includes polybags measuring 30 cm x 30 cm, hoes, pencils, books, meters, raffia ropes, nameplates, cutters, cameras, 70% paranets. The research was conducted in February 2024 - July 2024 at the Experimental and Research Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Unisri Mojosongo. This study uses 2 complete factors Random Design (RAL) with 3 replications. The planting medium is soil (M0), soil (M1) + rice husks, (M2) soil + husk charcoal, (M3) soil + cocopeat. The dosage of cow manure is (K0) 0 g/plant, (K1) 150 g/plant, (K2) 200 g/plant, (K3) 250 g/plant. The results of the observation data were analyzed using various annova fingerprints with a 5% level test and some further tests Duncan. Parameters: plant height, number of leaves, leaf color, rhizome weight, rhizome length and number of rhizomes. The only parameters that affect are the height of the plant, the number of leaves, the weight of the rhizome and the length of the rhizome. The planting medium was influenced by the highest husk charcoal yield (M2). The use of cow manure is influential with the highest dose result of 250 g/plant. The interaction of the two with the highest yield (M2K2) of soil and husk charcoal + cow manure dose of 200 g/plant.

Abstract

In this research, to determine the type of planting media with the right concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of orchid plants (Dendrobium sp) is the aim of the research entitled The Effect of Planting Media Type and Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer on Orchid Plants (Dendrobium sp). The research ware conducted at Raja Bunga Anggrek Jl Jimbaran No. 18 in Coblong, Pakopen, Bandungan, Semarang Regency, Central Java, between November 2023 and January 2024. This study used a completely randomized design with two treatment factors and three replications. The first factor is the planting medium (M) with three levels, namely black moss (M2), white moss (M1), and fern (M3). The second factor is liquid organic fertilizer (P) with three levels, namely without treatment, 0ml/liter (P0), 10ml/liter (P2), 15ml/liter (P3). Data was analyzed using analysis of variance with the Least Significant Difference (LSL) test 5% level. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), leaf length (cm), number of roots and number of shoots. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the black moss planting media type shows the best results in the growth of orchids (Dendrobium sp) and the right liquid organic fertilizer at 10 ml/liter.

Abstract

This research, entitled Concentration Test of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Leaf Fertilizer on the Growth of Orchids (Dendrobium sp), research on Dendrobium orchids with the Den Betty Rose Purple orchid plant, was carried out at the Bandungan Raja Bunga Orchid Garden, Semarang Regency, Central Java, from November 2023 to January 2024. This research aims is test the effect at concentration of liquid organic fertilizer and foliar fertilizer of the growth of Dendrobium orchid plants. The experimental design used was a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments with 3 replications. The liquid organic fertilizer used is RBA brand fertilizer, and the foliar fertilizer used is Gaviota brand fertilizer. The observational data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the results were interpreted using the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at a significance level of 5%. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf width and number of roots. The research results showed that the combination of using liquid organic fertilizer with the concentration of 10 ml/liter and foliar fertilizer with a concentration of 2 gr/liter had an effect on the growth of plant height, number of leaves, leaf width and number of roots.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Effect of Doses of Chicken Manure and Rabbit Urine Liquid Organic Fertiliser on the Growth and Yield of Cowpea Plants (Vigna unguiculata L.). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of chicken manure and rabbit urine liquid organic fertiliser on the growth and yield of cowpea plants. This research was conducted in Tambakwetan Rt 03 Rw 07, Tambakmerang, Girimarto, Wonogiri, Central Java. This research design used a 2-factorial randomised complete blok design (RAKL). The first factor of chicken manure dose (A) consisted of 3 levels A0 (0 tonnes/ha), A1 (20 tonnes/ha), A2 (40 tonnes/ha). The second factor of rabbit urine POC (K) consisted of 3 levels K0 (0 ml/ha), K1 (40 ml/ha), K2 (80 ml/ha). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, wet stover weight, dry stover weight, number of pods, pod weight, wet seed weight, dry seed weight. The results of the study are the Dosage Treatment of Chicken Manure gives results that are not significantly different from all observation parameters. The treatment of Rabbit Urine POC gives results that are not significantly different from all observation parameters. The combination of treatments between chicken manure doses and rabbit urine POC gave significantly different results on the observation parameter of plant height A0K0 (104.83 cm). But not significantly different from the parameters of the number of leaves, the weight of wet stalks, the weight of dry stalks, the number of pods, pod weight, wet seed weight, seed weight. Abstract

Lettuce has a very large market opportunity, the high demand in the market makes lettuce plants have a high economic value. The objectives of this study include, to obtain the appropriate concentration of KNO3 fertilizer for several varieties of lettuce using the Nutrient Film Technique NFT hydroponic system, to obtain suitable varieties for the application of KNO3 fertilizer using the NFT system, to obtain the interaction between varieties and KNO3 fertilizer with the NFT system. This study was conducted from June to August 2024 at the ARD Farm Nogosari garden, Boyolali with an altitude of ± 152 meters above sea level. The tools and materials used, NFT hydroponic installation, seedling trays, rockwool, AB Mix nutrients, stationery. The research design used in the study was a Split Plot design consisting of 2 treatment factors, the main plot of concentration and the seedling plot is a variety. The first factor is the concentration of KNO3, 1 gr/L (AB Mix 800 ppm + 1 gr/L KNO3), KNO3 2 gr/L (AB Mix 800 ppm + 2 gr/L KNO3), KNO3 3 gr/L (AB Mix 800 ppm + 3 gr/L KNO3). The second factor is the type of lettuce variety, Matt green, Romaine, Grand rapids. The combination of treatments consisted of 9 combinations and was repeated 3 times. The results and observation data were analyzed using Analysis Of Variance, if significantly different, continued with the BNJ test at a level of 5%. Potassium nitrate fertilizer did not affect all observation parameters, the appropriate variety for potassium nitrate fertilizer was the matt green variety on leaf width, there was no interaction between potassium nitrate fertilizer and variety.
