Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly tight business competition, employee performance is the key to company success. A positive organizational culture and transformational leadership style can influence employee motivation, productivity and commitment, which in turn improves organizational performance. This research investigates the influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership style on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. Quantitative research methods were carried out on 100 employees at PT. Pratama Abadi Industri JX. The results of path analysis show that organizational culture and transformational leadership style have a significant effect on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediator. This research contributes to the development of human resource management theory and practice by highlighting the importance of organizational culture and leadership style in improving employee performance.

Abstract

PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk merupakan  unit bisnis Grup Sinarmas  yang bergerak dalam bisnis penyedia layanan telekomunikasi. Pengelolaan keuangan yang baik sangat penting bagi penyedia seperti Smartfren untuk menjaga keuntungan bisnis. Yang paling banyak digunakan dalam analisis laporan keuangan adalah perhitungan rasio keuangan yang disebut juga dengan analisis rasio keuangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur kinerja PT. Smartfren Telecom Tbk dianalisis melalui analisis rasio keuangan berdasarkan laporan keuangan PT. Smartfren Telecom Tbk  2018-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan sumber data sekunder dari laporan keuangan PT. Smartfren Telecom Tbk  2018-2022. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kecenderungan yang terjadi saat ini dengan mendeskripsikan karakteristik individu atau kelompok. Studi menunjukkan bahwa antara tahun 2018 hingga 2022, PT. Situasi keuangan Smartfren Telecom Tbk  kurang baik. Rasio lancar berada di bawah standar industri yaitu 1 banding 5. Rasio utang di atas 100% dan di atas rata-rata industri sebesar 90%. Rasio utang terhadap aset kami lebih tinggi dari rata-rata industri sebesar 35%. Margin laba bersih lebih rendah dari rata-rata standar industri sebesar 20%. Oleh karena itu, perlu diambil keputusan-keputusan strategis  khususnya yang berkaitan dengan kinerja keuangan perusahaan.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work discipline and work-life balance on employee productivity at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia's Sukabumi Branch Office. A quantitative correlation approach was used to obtain data from 100 employees via a Likert questionnaire. The findings of the investigation revealed that both work discipline and work-life balance had a considerable favorable impact on employee productivity. It was discovered that the higher the level of work discipline and work-life balance, the higher the expected work productivity. Although no significant relationship was found between work discipline and work-life balance, both together affect work productivity. Regression analysis shows that both have a significant impact individually on work productivity. Work discipline affects work productivity by 0.261 units, while work-life balance affects it by 0.335 units. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination shows that about 20.5% of the variation in work productivity can be explained by work discipline and work-life balance. Although the regression model can explain a small portion of the variation in work productivity, there are still other factors affecting work productivity that are not included in this model. This study provides important insights for company management in improving employee productivity through the implementation of good work discipline and optimal work-life balance. It is hoped that the results of this study can be the basis for company policy in establishing a favorable workplace and supporting employee productivity.

Abstract

The emergence of a new generation often referred to as Gen Z, those who were born in the era of 1995 - 2012 began to enter the industrial workforce. It is important for this generation to understand the concept of business ethics as a whole, so that when they take a role in the world of work, they can behave correctly according to the norms regulated in business ethics. Especially considering that this generation, whether we like it or not, is realized together in character is very different from the previous generation. Gen Z is a generation that from birth has received very intensive exposure to technology. This forms a mindset that tends to be egocentric and easily discouraged. Therefore, a correct understanding of business ethics is expected to bridge the gap that is very likely to occur with previous generations in the world of work.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of digital marketing and innovative products on the long-term success of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater Sukabumi region. Digital marketing is defined as an effective and efficient method of promoting products through digital channels, while product innovation focuses on developing or refining products to meet the changing needs of the market. The research method involved 35 culinary MSME players who use at least one digital marketing application, with data collection through questionnaires. The analysis of the data involved a thorough examination of validity and reliability, complemented by multiple linear regression analysis. The study's findings reveal that digital marketing significantly influences the sustainability of business operations, evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.284. Furthermore, the research highlights that product innovation exerts an even more profound effect on business success, as indicated by a coefficient of 0.447. The F test showed that the overall regression model was significant, with an F value of 59.279 (p < 0.001). These findings are consistent with the literature showing that digital marketing adoption and product innovation are key factors in improving MSME competitiveness and performance. This study recommends improving access to technology and digital training for MSMEs, as well as collaboration with educational institutions to encourage product innovation. The limitations of this study lie in the limited number of samples and the absence of in-depth analysis of other factors that affect business continuity.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan sangat penting untuk keberhasilan perusahaan, PT X yang bergerak dalam manufaktur otomotif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan departemen produksi PT X, yang bergerak dalam manufaktur otomotif. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif, menggunakan menggunakan analisis data regresi linier berganda. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 84 karyawan departemen produksi PT X.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sikap kerja (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung 3,228 > ttabel 1,989 dan nilai signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05. Lingkungan kerja (X3) juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung 5,058 > ttabel 1,989 dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05. Sebaliknya, disiplin kerja (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung 1,470 < ttabel 1,989 dan nilai signifikansi 0,145 > 0,05. Secara simultan variabel sikap kerja dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dibuktikan dengan nilai F hitung 46,261 > F tabel 3,109 dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 63,45 menunjukkan bahwa sikap kerja, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan 63,4% kinerja karyawan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun disiplin kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penelitian ini, meningkatkan sikap kerja dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan departemen produksi PT X. Oleh karena itu, manajemen PT X disarankan untuk lebih berkonsentrasi pada membangun sikap kerja yang positif dan memperbaiki lingkungan kerja sehingga mereka dapat memaksimalkan kinerja dengan optimal.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of competence and work discipline on employee performance at XLSmart Jakarta. The focus is to understand how these two human resource dimensions contribute to organizational success in a highly competitive business environment Research Methodology: The research adopts a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods. The population consists of 400 employees, and a sample of 80 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 25. Validity and reliability tests confirmed that all indicators were appropriate and consistent for measuring the study variables. Results: The findings show that both competence and work discipline have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The regression model Y = 26.423 + 0.226X1 + 0.178X2 explains that improvements in competence and discipline lead to better performance outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.627 indicates that 62.7% of performance variance is explained by competence and discipline, while 37.3% is due to other factors not investigated in this study. Conclusions: Competence and discipline are essential drivers of employee performance. Organizations need to strengthen training programs and enforce discipline consistently to maximize productivity. Limitations: This study is limited to one company and uses cross-sectional data, which may restrict generalizability. Contribution: Explain how this study can contribute.
