Abstract

This research aims to determine the direct influence of organizational culture variables, leadership style and employee competency on employee performance and the indirect influence of organizational culture variables and leadership style on employee performance with employee competency as mediation at PT. East Makassar. Primary data were obtained using a questionnaire with a saturated sample. The population was 43 respondents. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability with the PLS model scheme and model evaluation, as well as multicollinearity tests, inner model evaluations using the determinant coefficient test, goodness of fit model tests and hypothesis testing both directly and indirectly were carried out using the SmartPLS version 4 application. The results of the study directly showed that organizational culture variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, leadership style variables have no effect on employee performance, organizational culture variables have a positive and significant effect on employee competence, leadership style variables have no effect on employee competence and employee competence has a positive effect significant impact on employee performance. The research results indirectly show that organizational culture influences employee performance with employee competency as a mediator and leadership style does not influence employee performance with employee competency as a mediator.

Abstract

Merokok pada remaja merupakan masalah Kesehatan yang serius dan dapat memiliki dampak jangka Panjang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran bahaya bahaya merokok pada remaja dan cara pencegahannya di sekolah pada siswa melalui pemaparan materi dalam bentuk ceramah dan video. Edukasi ini diberikan melalui ceramah dan video dengan 24 responden siswa. Pemaparan materi ini mengenai bentuk-bentuk pencegahan dan penaggulangan bahaya merokok pada remaja di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Hasil edukasi ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor pretest dan posttest pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya merokok. Melalui edukasi ini dapat meningkatkan skor pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya merokok. Edukasi yang dilakukan sangat interaktif dalam proses diskusi. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat melakukan pendekatan media lainnya untuk melihat sikap siswa dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan bahaya merokok yang ada di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are chronic diseases that are often not detected early due to the lack of public attention to health checks. Both diseases are known as “silent killers” because they often go unnoticed until they cause serious complications. Health screening activities were carried out in Tamparang Keke Village, Mamajang Subdistrict, Makassar City, focusing on blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Of the 27 residents examined, 8 had hypertension, 1 hypotension, and 8 had high blood sugar levels. It is recommended that residents regularly check their health, adopt a healthy diet, and exercise to reduce the risk of complications.

Abstract

Keberhasilan Pengobatan merupakan indikator pencapaian utama pengendalian program tuberkulosis di pelayanan kesehatan. Keberhasilan pengobatan sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor baik faktor dari penderita maupun faktor pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keberhasilan pengobatan Multidrug Resistance Tuberculosis (MDRTB) di Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling dengan jumlah 64 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik penderita yang berhasil pengobatan MDR-TB berjenis kelamin tertinggi yaitu laki-laki (61%). Kelompok usia tertinggi yaitu 36-44 tahun (26.5%). Suku tertinggi yaitu suku makassar (53%). Tingkat Pendidikan tertinggi yaitu tamat SMA (43.8%). Status pekerjaan tertinggi yaitu tidak bekerja (37.5%). Tempat dinyatakan MDR-TB tertinggi di Rumah Sakit (75%). Lama pengobatan MDR-TB tertinggi jangka panjang (84.4%). (100%) responden menyatakan merasakan efek samping obat, efek yang dirasakan yaitu muntah. (100%) responden menyatakan memperoleh peran PMO. (93.8%) responden memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dan (6.3%) memiliki motivasi sedang. (95.3%) responden memperoleh dukungan keluarga yang tinggi dan (4.7%) memperoleh dukungan keluarga yang sedang selama menjalani pengobatan. Oleh karena itu diharapkan bagi petugas kesehatan agar lebih meningkatkan program pengendalian TB dalam upaya keteraturan pengobatan MDR-TB dengan melakukan pengawasan terhadap pasien yang mengalami kegagalan pengobatan (dropout) sehingga akan meningkatkan keberhasilan pengobatan dan memutus rantai penularan MDR-TB.

Abstract

Permasalahan Kekerasan Seksual pada siswa di sekolah sangat marak terjadi. Tingginya kasus kekerasan seksual ini didasari oleh minimnya pengetahuan siswa terkait kekerasan seksual. Dengan menyajikan informasi dalam bentuk film, pendidikan kekerasan seksual berupaya mendidik siswa tentang cara menghindari dan menangani kekerasan seksual di sekolah. Ceramah dan film dengan 24 responden siswa digunakan untuk menyampaikan instruksi ini. Penyajian materi ini berfokus pada cara menangani dan mencegah kekerasan seksual di sekolah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan analisis data distribusi frekuensi. Hasilnya menunjukkan perbedaan antara skor pra-tes dan post-tes siswa dan menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran ini dapat meningkatkan skor pengetahuan siswa tentang kekerasan seksual hingga 62%. Dalam pelajaran melibatkan banyak partisipasi siswa. Penelitian di masa mendatang dapat meneliti bagaimana perasaan siswa tentang pencegahan dan penanggulangan kekerasan seksual di sekolah dengan menggunakan berbagai strategi media.

Abstract

The management of medical records at Mamuju Tengah General Hospital in 2016 was still conducted manually, with the completeness of medical records ranging from 60-80%. This study aims to describe the behavior of medical record officers at the hospital. Using a descriptive quantitative method, a sample of 38 medical record officers was selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument used was a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The type of data collected consisted of primary data obtained directly from respondents’ answers, and secondary data in the form of hospital documentation related to medical records management. Data analysis was performed using univariate descriptive statistics, presented in frequency distributions and percentages. The results showed that the knowledge of the officers (52.6%) and their actions (63.2%) were still inadequate. Additionally, the facilities and infrastructure in the medical records installation were also lacking (76.3%). However, the officers' perceptions of the standard operating procedures (65.8%) were considered good. It is recommended that the officers receive training, improve the facilities and infrastructure, and enhance the socialization of SOPs to improve the quality of medical record management.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in the field of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)-based healthcare services presents both opportunities and challenges related to legal compliance, patient data protection, and professional ethics. This study aims to analyze the relevant legal aspects of EMR implementation and their implications for business model development and healthcare service innovation.The method used is a systematic literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Literature was obtained from academic databases and public repositories using the keywords "Electronic Medical Records", "health entrepreneurship", "health law", "privacy by design", and "telemedicine regulation" for the period 2020–2025. The analysis was conducted through thematic/content analysis with a focus on four main themes: the regulatory framework and legality of EMR, the implications of EMR for entrepreneurship and technology governance, legal risks and protection of healthcare workers, and  implementation barriers related to infrastructure, human resources, and interoperability. The study results indicate that the implementation of EMR plays a crucial role as a legal instrument, a means of digitizing services, and a basis for developing a regulatory-compliant entrepreneurial model. Implementation challenges include limited infrastructure, disparities in healthcare workforce competency, and varying levels of preparedness in healthcare facilities. Integrating legal principles, such as privacy by design and role-based access control, is key to minimizing legal risks while strengthening patient and stakeholder trust.In conclusion, strengthening the legal aspects of RME-based healthcare entrepreneurship is a prerequisite for ensuring a balance between innovation, legal protection, and business sustainability, while simultaneously improving the quality of healthcare services nationally.

Abstract

The workshop titled "Strengthening Anti-Bullying Character and Student Entrepreneurship through the Student Preneurship Program" was conducted as an effort to instill positive character values while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among elementary school students. This activity was motivated by the increasing prevalence of bullying in elementary schools both verbal, social, and physical and students’ lack of awareness regarding empathy and social responsibility. The workshop was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at UPT SDN 73 Bontorita I, Galesong District, Takalar Regency, involving academic speakers, teachers, parents, and KKN-DIK 2025 students. The implementation method consisted of three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, students were divided into four groups to create simple products containing anti-bullying campaign messages. The results indicated that students developed a deeper understanding of bullying and its effects while expressing positive messages through creative entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the involvement of teachers and parents strengthened the internalization of character values and enhanced peer communication. Therefore, this program serves as an effective educational innovation for promoting anti-bullying behavior and nurturing entrepreneurial skills among elementary school students.

Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir berada pada fase kritis pengambilan keputusan karier sehingga membutuhkan keyakinan diri yang cukup serta dukungan sosial yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan career decision-making self-efficacy (CDMSE) pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 130 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner daring. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial dan Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE) versi adaptasi Bahasa Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rho karena data tidak berdistribusi normal berdasarkan uji Shapiro-Wilk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan CDMSE, dengan nilai ρ = 0,696 dan p < 0,001. Analisis lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga memiliki hubungan paling kuat (ρ = 0,667), diikuti figur signifikan (ρ = 0,627), dan teman sebaya (ρ = 0,544), kemudian seluruhnya signifikan (p < 0,001). Dengan demikian, semakintinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima mahasiswa, semakin tinggi pula efikasi diri mereka dalam mengambil keputusan karier. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya peran keluarga, teman sebaya, dan figur signifikan dalam mendukung proses kesiapan karier mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Abstract Final-year university students are in a critical phase of career decision-making that requires adequate career decision-making self-efficacy as well as sufficient social support. This study aimed to examine the relationship between social support and CDMSE among final-year students in Surabaya City. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants consisted of 130 final-year university students, selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire. The instruments used were the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support and the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE) adapted into Indonesian. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rho correlation test because the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro–Wilk normality test. The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between social support and CDMSE, with a correlation coefficient of ρ = 0.696 and p < 0.001. Further analysis showed that family support had the strongest correlation with CDMSE (ρ = 0.667), followed by support from significant others (ρ = 0.627), and peer support (ρ = 0.544), all of which were statistically significant (p < 0.001). These findings suggest that higher levels of perceived social support are associated with higher career decision-making self-efficacy among final-year students. Overall, this study highlights the important role of family, peers, and significant others in supporting students’ career readiness and decision-making processes.

Abstract

Red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is an important horticultural crop that is widely used as a cooking spice. However, this fruit has a short shelf life and is susceptible to Colletotrichum sp. infection which causes anthracnose disease. One effort to extend the shelf life and suppress fungal infection is the use of natural coatings. Sweet orange peel(Citrus aurantium L.) which contains pectin has the potential to be used as a base material for natural coatings to increase the resistance of red chili. This study aims to determine the effect and determine the effective concentration of natural coatings from sweet orange peel on the quality of red chili and its resistance to Colletotrichum sp. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatment concentrations: 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%, each repeated four times. The parameters observed included texture, weight loss, incubation period, disease incidence, disease severity, and number of conidia. The results showed that a concentration of 5% gave the best results in maintaining fruit texture and weight, extending the incubation period, and inhibiting disease development and reducing the number of Colletotrichum sp. conidia.
