Abstract

This article discusses bukhur is a small piece of aromatic wood or a mixture of traditional natural ingredients, with the main ingredient being wood (oudh) soaked in fragrant oil and blended with other natural materials. The purpose of this research is to understand bukhur in the Islamic tradition by identifying its denotation, connotation, and mythology found within the symbol of bukhur. This research method employs a qualitative descriptive research approach. The data analysis in this study utilizes Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, which employs the signifier and signified system to explore denotation, connotation, and myths associated with bukhur. And this research result explains that by using semiotic analysis, it can be understood how signs and symbols in the incense burner play an important role in shaping religious identity.

Abstract

Dewasa ini kemampuan dasar akademik bagi seorang muda-mudi sangat penting untuk dimiliki. Hal ini disebabkan karena perkembangan zaman yang sangat cepat yang menyebabkan persaingan antara satu individu dengan individu lainnya dalam bidang akademik sangatlah ketat. Namun, fakta lapangan menyebutkan bahwa tidak semua muda-mudi memiliki kemampuan tersebut. Termasuk santri-santri di Mahad Al-Irsyad lil Banat Yala-Thailand. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dibentuklah tim pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan kepada santri-santri tersebut. Dengan menerapkan metode pelatihan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengabdian tersebut memberikan dampak positif bagi santri-santri tersebut. Pasalnya kini santri tersebut telah memiliki kemampuan akademik dasar meskipun pelajaran yang diberikan terbilang singkat.

Abstract

The food estate policy in Central Kalimantan has drawn controversy because it is considered to hurt the local community. However, if studied further, this policy has a good goal orientation. However, it is often thwarted by a clumsy management system. To overcome this, QS. Yusuf [12]: 54-58 provides a solution in the form of an excellent managerial system exemplified by Yusuf in facing the lean times. By using the thematic method in the data collection process and George R. Terry's management theory as an analytical tool, this article aims to determine the factors that caused the failure of the food estate program in several areas of Central Kalimantan with the reference point of Yusuf's story in QS. Yusuf [12]: 54-58. The results of the study showed that the failure of the food estate program in several areas in Central Kalimantan Province was due to the need for more mature planning by the Indonesian government. As a result, there was a series of reactions, namely the neglect of other management functions such as organizing, actuating, and controlling (as in George Robert Terry's theory), so the program could not run well.

Abstract

The ability to operate office applications, one of which is Microsoft Office Word, is nowadays very important. This is because the development of science is very rapidly growing, thus forcing humans to always innovate to find more effective and efficient ways of working. However, the demand to master knowledge related to the Microsoft Office Word application is not owned by KMI students at Pondok Modern Al-Mujahidul Amin. This encourages the author to conduct Microsoft Office Word application training to improve the knowledge of its human resources. This training uses the training method, which is divided into the planning stage, preparation stage, implementation stage and training stage. The results showed that the knowledge of KMI students after the training became better. In addition, there are other by-products, namely learning modules that are useful to support the learning process of KMI students at Pondok Modern Al-Mujahidul Amin. These results are important to know so that future researchers can develop the research that has been done.
