Abstract

Kepedulian lingkungan penting untuk mewujudkan kualitas lingkungan yang baik. Karakter peduli lingkungan harus dimiliki oleh masyarakat sebagai upaya pelestarian termasuk kepedulian masyarakat Bajo dalam pengelolaan kawasan Taman Nasional Wakatobi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada masyarakat Bajo Mola di Taman Nasional Wakatobi meliputi kearifan lokal Duata Sangal, Parika dan Pamali yang terkandung dalam pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan yang diintegrasikan melalui pembelajaran geografi SMA. Metode penelitian menggunakan diskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kajian pustaka yang dianalisis dengan model triangulasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan dapat dikembangkan melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya laut melalui kearfian lokal masyarakat Bajo Mola. Sebagai masyarakat berbudaya laut nilai-niai kearifan lokal mengandung indikator karakter peduli lingkungan yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran geografi. Pengelolaan sumber daya laut Taman Nasional Wakatoi dilakukan dengan melibatkan semua masyarakat melalui kearifan lokal dan dianggap mampu menjaga Taman Nasional yang secara langsung dan tidak langsung memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, kearifan lokal perlu dipertahankan dalam mewujudkan generasi peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

Merdeka Learning is a policy of the minister of education and culture that aims to encourage students to master various sciences to enter the world of work. This Independent Learning Policy is in accordance with Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of the coastal environment as a source of learning in independent learning. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by making students as research subjects. The source of this research data is in the form of journals related to the use of the coastal environment as a learning resource. Data collection techniques using listening and note-taking techniques. The results showed that the use of the coastal environment as a learning resource can provide opportunities for students to increase enthusiasm and motivation in understanding science and gain direct experience in the learning process outside the classroom. The purpose of the utilization pattern is so that students can more easily understand science in utilizing learning in the surrounding environment.Keywords: Environment, Learning Resources, Independent Learning

Abstract

The character of caring for the environment through local culture is increasingly being encouraged. However, the concept of integrating local culture in forming an environmentally caring character in managing marine resources has not been implemented. Meanwhile, environmental awareness is important to realize good environmental quality. The community must have the character of caring for the environment as a conservation effort, including the concern of the Bajo community in managing the Wakatobi National Park area. The aim of this research is to examine the local wisdom values of the Bajo Mola community in Wakatobi National Park, including the local wisdom of Duata Sangal, Parika and Pamali contained in environmentally caring character education which is integrated through high school geography learning. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observations and literature reviews which are analyzed using model triangulation. The results of the research are that character education that cares about the environment can be developed through the use of marine resources through the local wisdom of the Bajo Mola community. Bajo Mola local wisdom values in class XI Geography learning. Educators can apply it by integrating it into learning material, so that they can form environmentally. Caring characters in students.  As a community with a maritime culture, local wisdom values contain indicators of environmentally caring character that can be integrated into geography learning. Through environmental care character education based on the local wisdom of the Bajo Mola Waakatobi tribe, it is hoped that it can foster an attitude of caring for the environment in society.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R penting dilakukan sejak dini termasuk bagi siswa sekolah dasar.  Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui edukasi.  Mitra kegiatan adalah SD Negeri 4 Katobengke.  Pelaksanaan kegiatan diikuti oleh 21 siswa yang mewakili setiap jenjang kelas.  Kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu observasi, koordinasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi.  3R adalah teknik pengelolaan sampah dengan mengurangi (Reduce), menggunakan ulang (Reuse), dan mendaur ulang (Recycle).  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pemahaman akan pengelolaan sampah sebelum kegiatan sebesar 45% menjadi 80% setelah kegiatan.   Karakter peduli lingkungan penting untuk dilakukan sejak dini untuk membekali siswa karena dapat membentuk siswa untuk bertanggung jawab terhadap kelestarian lingkungan.
