Abstract

The character of caring for the environment through local culture is increasingly being encouraged. However, the concept of integrating local culture in forming an environmentally caring character in managing marine resources has not been implemented. Meanwhile, environmental awareness is important to realize good environmental quality. The community must have the character of caring for the environment as a conservation effort, including the concern of the Bajo community in managing the Wakatobi National Park area. The aim of this research is to examine the local wisdom values of the Bajo Mola community in Wakatobi National Park, including the local wisdom of Duata Sangal, Parika and Pamali contained in environmentally caring character education which is integrated through high school geography learning. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observations and literature reviews which are analyzed using model triangulation. The results of the research are that character education that cares about the environment can be developed through the use of marine resources through the local wisdom of the Bajo Mola community. Bajo Mola local wisdom values in class XI Geography learning. Educators can apply it by integrating it into learning material, so that they can form environmentally. Caring characters in students.  As a community with a maritime culture, local wisdom values contain indicators of environmentally caring character that can be integrated into geography learning. Through environmental care character education based on the local wisdom of the Bajo Mola Waakatobi tribe, it is hoped that it can foster an attitude of caring for the environment in society.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) is a problem-oriented learning model as the beginning of combining new knowledge with experience. The advantages of the PjBL model are able to spur students in creative thinking and can increase students to understand the theory learned along with creativity in applying their understanding to a project. The application of the PjBL model requires a variety of learning media that helps students in the process of collaboration and exploration, namely through google sites. This study aimed to determine the effect of PjBL, facilitated by Google Sites, on students' creative thinking in geography education. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, using an independent T-test to analyze the impact of PjBL on creative thinking skills. The research subjects included students from classes X-8 and X-9 at State Senior High School 7 Malang, selected based on purposive sampling to ensure similar baseline characteristics. The results and discussion show that project-based learning assisted by google sites is able to encourage students' creative thinking, especially those related to fluent thinking. It was proven by the acquisition of Independent Sample T test value Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.040 <0.05. Thus, it can be said that the project-based learning model assisted by google sites in geography subjects affects students' creative thinking skills. The findings include: 1) students are very active and enthusiastic during the learning process, 2) female students have better creative thinking skills than male students.

Abstract

Curriculum changes that occur give teachers skills in developing learning media that meet the needs of the curriculum and can provide an enjoyable learning experience for students. The product developed in this research is a pop-up book geography tectonism material with the Essentials of Geology book model. This research aims to develop pop-up book geography learning media that is practical, effective, valid, and useful in motivating students to learn tectonism material. The product was developed using the ADDIE model, which includes a) analysis, b) design, c) development, d) implementation, and e) evaluation. Based on the needs and material analysis results, the pop-up learning media book geography tectonism material essentials of the geology book model needs to be developed. The material and media expert validation results state that the media is very valid for the learning process, with a total average score of 91.75 and 90 percent. The total average validation obtained through the teacher response questionnaire to the media is 92.5 percent. With these results, it can be concluded that the validity of this media is in the valid category and can be utilized and applied without revision. After the trial was carried out, the results of the media practicality test were 85.5 percent, and the results of the media effectiveness test were 86.25 percent. With these results, it can be concluded that the media is in the practical and effective category. Effective means motivating student learning in studying geospheric phenomena, lithospheric dynamics material, especially tectonism sub-material, and the media can be used without requiring revisions.

Abstract

Early marriages in various countries, including Indonesia, can be legalized by the state based on "emergency reasons" in obtaining marriage dispensation in court. The emergency reason pattern can be used as a basis for intervention in handling this case.. This study aims to describe the 'emergency reasons' for marriage dispensation, examine their relationship with the demographic aspects of the offender, and examine the length of time the marriage dispensation was obtained. This research uses a descriptive quantitative survey approach. The instruments used in this research consist of demographic aspects of early marriage actors, as well as a review of "emergency reasons" in marriage dispensation decisions for 157 respondents at the Bawean Religious Court for 2019-2023. This research data analysis uses correlation techniques to show the direction and strength of the relationship between variables. This research proves that there is a relationship between the age and education of early marriage actors and the "emergency reasons" for marriage dispensation decisions, as well as a relationship between the length of the marriage dispensation process and the "emergency reasons" for marriage dispensation decisions. Other results prove that there is no significant relationship between the income of early marriage actors and the "emergency reasons" for marriage dispensation decisions. However, there is a significant correlation with one of the "emergency reasons", namely that the Husband is already working and has an income has a greater chance of getting a marriage dispensation.. The results of this research can be used as important material for regulating marriage dispensations for the Religious Courts, Office of Religious Affairs, Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and other authorities.
