Abstract

Background: Wound dehiscence is damage to the lining of the surgical wound, both partial and complete, where various factors can cause this. Several factors affecting the incidence of wound dehiscence include age, gender, malnutrition, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, chronic lung disease, surgical wound infection, malignancy, emergency surgery, jaundice, and obesity. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of post-laparotomy wound dehiscence. Methods: This study was a descriptive retrospective approach. The research data was obtained from the patient's medical record data. The research participants were all post-laparotomy patients at RSUD Dr. H Chasan Boesoirie Ternate in January 2019 - December 2021 who are above 18 years old. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS. Results: This study included 38 samples; the results of nutritional status based on BMI 22 samples were obese (57.9%), nine patients were overweight (23.7%), six patients had normal BMI (15.8%), and one patient category Underweight (2.6%). If seen from the Hb of post-laparotomy patients with wound dehiscence, 21 patients had anemia (55.3%), and 17 patients did not have anemia (44.7%). Conclusion: The most common post-laparotomy wound dehiscence with nutrition occurred in women, age group 18-29 years, cesarean section surgery, nutritional status of obesity, and anemia.

Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is a persistent nausea and vomiting which is the main cause of hospitalization after preterm delivery in all the pregnancies. Globally, the prevalence of hyperemesis gravidarum is 12.5% and the prevalence of hyperemesis gravidarum in North Maluku is around 3.66%. To describe the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum at RSUD Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie. The type of research is a retrospective descriptive observational approach with a total sampling technique of 94 patients. Data were collected from medical record data according to the inclusion and the exclusion criteria and it is used univariate analysis. Patients at risk for hyperemesis gravidarum based on the age, namely 20-35 years, were 78 patients (84.8%), then based on parity at risk, namely multigravida, 45 patients (48.9%) and based on the degree of severity who were at risk of being affected, namely 59 patients (64.1%). The majority of the pregnant women are affected by hyperemesis gravidarum, namely at the age of 20-35 years, the multigravida parity and the moderate degree.

Abstract

Batu Saluran Kemih adalah pembentukan batu di saluran kemih akibat pengendapan berupa kristal di urin. Pengendapan ini timbul pada bagian sel epitel yang mengalami lesi sehingga terjadi hematuria. Penyakit BSK merupakan penyakit tersering ketiga di bidang urologi serta belum ada penelitian yang terkait dengan gambaran hematuria terhadap lokasi batu pada pasien BSK di RSUD Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie Ternate. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran hematuria terhadap lokasi batu pada pasien BSK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan sampel pasien BSK di rekam medik RSUD Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie tahun 2018-2022 sampel yang diambil sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dari sampel 27 pasien, kejadian hematuria sebanyak 19 sampel (70,4%). Lebih banyak ditemukan pada perempuan sebanyak 12 sampel (63,2%) dibandingkan laki-laki yaitu 7 sampel (36,8%), dan tertinggi pada usia 35-45 tahun sebanyak 7 sampel (36,8% ) dan 46-55 tahun yaitu 7 sampel (36,8%). Kejadian hematuria terhadap lokasi batu pada pasien BSK yang menempati proporsi tertinggi yakni pada batu ginjal, lebih banyak ditemukan pada perempuan, usia tertinggi pada kelompok 35-45 tahun dan 46-55 tahun.
