Abstract

This observation aimed to understand the laboratory regulations, assess the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the laboratory, evaluate management practices, examine the completeness of laboratory equipment and materials, and observe the arrangement of laboratory space, equipment, and materials. This research was conducted in the basic biology laboratory at a university in East Kalimantan. The method employed in this research involved interviewing laboratory assistants and observing the laboratory conditions. The observations indicated that Laboratory A and B had complete personal protective equipment. However, there were some differences. For instance, the equipment and materials were complete in Laboratory A, whereas in Laboratory B, they were incomplete because the laboratory was newly built. Another difference was in the usage of the laboratories; Laboratory A was used for practical sessions, seminars, and classroom activities, while Laboratory B was solely utilized for practical exams. For future researchers, it is suggested that laboratories be explored for both practical sessions and classroom activities, rather than just classroom spaces.

Abstract

This research aims to reduce durian skin waste by making bio-battery raw materials that are environmentally friendly. In addition, this research also aims to test the effectiveness of the battery by testing voltage, current, and power. This research is experimental research with the method used observation and measurement. Based on the results obtained, pasta batteries with variations in the ratio of durian peel mass and electrolyte mass produce varying voltages and electric currents. The optimal variation is in the first combination with 5 grams of durian peel and 20 grams of electrolyte, which produces the highest power of 4.50 Watts. There is no significant effect between the mass of durian peel and the mass of electrolyte on the voltage and current of the paste battery. Paste batteries with full durian produce lower voltage, amperage, and power compared to paste batteries with variations in the ratio of durian peel mass and electrolyte mass.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata Pelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada pesrta didik SMA.  Populasi  penelitian adalah peserta didik  kelas  XI-4  SMA  Negeri 13 Samarinda. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kelas XI-4 yang menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki sebaran data sebanyak 30 dengan nilai rata-rata 61,67 dan standar deviasi 17,924. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran  inkuiri  terbimbing  tersebut dapat dikatakan cukup baik karena terbukti dengan adanya nilai standar deviasi yang ebih kecil dari mean artinya data menyebar tidak jauh dari mean dan menunjukkan variabel relative homogen. Dalam penelitian ini apabila ditinjau dari segi gender maka memiliki nilai rata-rata untuk peserta didik perempuan yaitu sebesar 65,50 dimana nilai rata-rata tersebut lebih unggul daripada peserta didik laki-laki yang nilainya hanya sebesar 54,00.
