Abstract

The purpose of this research is to promoting Semanggi Surabaya as an icon and tourist attraction in the city of Surabaya. The research design is a case study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles Huberman method. Promoting Semanggi Surabaya as an icon and tourist attraction in the city of Surabaya signifies an effort to enrich its cultural identity. By highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of clover as a symbol representing fertility, peace, and luck, Surabaya expands the awareness of tourists regarding its hidden natural tourism potential. This initiative not only promotes the beauty of the local nature but also strengthens the local community's pride in their cultural heritage. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of preserving and promoting local cultural elements as a strategy to enhance the tourism industry of a city while fostering awareness of the significance of environmental preservation and cultural identity in the rapidly advancing context of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of human resource management in improving street vendor business in Kute Mandalika and the obstacles passed in increasing street vendor business in Kute Mandalika. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques are the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials so that they can be easily understood and the findings can be informed to others. The result of this study is that the role of human resources in street vendors in Kute Mandalika is very important in increasing the income of the people there. With this, traders can manage their trades. Street vendors can compete fairly with other vendors. The obstacle that is often experienced is the lack of knowledge of street vendors about their trade management. Awareness of street vendors' compliance with local government regulations.

Abstract

Promotion of the tourism sector has an important role in supporting the Indonesian economy. Tourism marketing in the digital era encourages tourism resources to make optimal use of technology. This study aims to (1) find out the digital tourism strategy used by DKI Jakarta Disparekraf in Instagram content @disparekrafdki; (2) find out the effectiveness of the digital tourism strategy by the DKI Disparekraf in promoting DKI Jakarta tourism through Instagram content. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that (1) the digital tourism strategy used by the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Department in promoting tourist destinations in DKI Jakarta through the Instagram platform contains dimensions of entertainment, interaction, trends and customization; (2) Promotion of the tourism sector by utilizing digital tourism strategies through the Instagram platform which tends to be simple, global and interactive is an effective and inexpensive way.
