Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Aktivitas Media Relations Konsultan Public Relations “Media Buffet” dalam membantu pembentukan citra klien perusahaan startup berbasis teknologi PT Paxel Algorita Unggul. Perusahaan Paxel adalah pelopor Same Day Delivery antar Kota dan Provinsi yang pertama di Indonesia. Konsultan Public Relations menjadi jawaban dari kebutuhan perusahaan dalam menyebarkan informasi kepada masyarakat atau untuk menjalin hubungan baik dengan media. Media adalah salahsatu stakeholder yang berperan penting dalam membentuk citra perusahaan dengan memanfaatkan strategi dan aktivitas digital. Konsultan Public Relations sangat dibutuhkan seiring tingginya persaingan antar kompetitor. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam pada 4(empat) informan, dan observasi, maka hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas media relations yang dilakukan Media Buffet terbagi atas dua hal, Pertama(1) Introduction Media meliputi Media Visit & Editor Luncheon. Kedua (2) Maintaining Relations meliputi: Event Paxel, Press Briefing dan Press Release. Aktivitas Media Relations tersebut juga dipadukan dengan SEO Optimization Strategy, mengakibatkan terjadi peningkatan publisitas pemberitaan dan Brand Awareness PT Paxel.

Abstract

Riset ini memfokuskan pada pemaknaan tanda-tanda pada film Tabula Rasa yang diyakini penulis memunculkan peran perempuan dalam mempertahankan eksistensi budaya lokal Indonesia. Walaupun tidak sederhana, namun produksi film memiliki berbagai kepentingan, setidaknya dapat menguatkan peran perempuan di media massa. Berangkat dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode analisis isi semiotika dari John Fiske. Maka hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa film ini dapat menguatkan peran perempuan dalam mempertahankan kearifan lokal melalui performa kekuatan diri yang dimiliki. Penguraian kandungan makna dalam film tersebut menguatkan identitas dan peran perempuan dalam Budaya Indonesia.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe (1) how the House Shelter Managers of SEKAR do the communication and interaction process with the street children before coaching; (2) What kind of the roles of the House Shelter Managers of SEKAR in coaching the street children; (3) How the House Shelter Managers of SEKAR do the communication and interaction processin building familiarity with the street children assisted by themData collection techniquesused were(1) in-depth interview to the managers of the shelter SEKAR and street children, (2) as well as library research and documentation. The validity Test of the datas by either (a) went straight to the field, (b) used more than two informants to obtain precise data and notsubjective, (c) confirming the data on resources, (d) presenting the data in detail, systematically and Comprehensive, (e) discussing with colleagues. The results showed that the manager SEKAR always: (1) creating the warmth verbal communication by improving communication both to the street children themselves and the parents of these children, (2) improvingthe search through the introduction of information about the child and his approach to his parents, (3) creatingthe conducive conditions that emerge the children to reveal his true identity. Besides that, the role as brother, parents and friends raised by the managers as part of the management of symbolic communication to create a positive self-concept’s children. Then, in building interpersonal relationships with street children, there are two waysthat were: 1) expandinng the scope of activities. This is indicated in a variety of activities programmed by the manager of SEKAR. (2) deepening communication materials in a way to chat and give advice every bedtime, as well as being a friend to vent. The Conclusion of this research is that the communication management done by systematically starting from the contact, reduction of uncertainty. Additionally, the role of management is maximized to create interpersonal relationships and leads to a change in attitude and behavior of the street children normatively.

Abstract

This research focused on the urgency of teachers’ communication competence in inculcating multicultural values at elementary schools, in this case, the inclusive elementary school of Trirenggo, Yogyakarta. Communication skills are an essential competency for teachers as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education No. 16 of 2007 dated May 4th, 2007. Teachers, as communicators, are the main factor in establishing effective communication in the learning process. In this case, a teacher with excellent communication skills would substantially determine a school’s success in the implementation of multicultural values. In order to analyze the subject, this study used a qualitative method, and the data were collected from three respondents from the inclusive elementary school of Trirenggo, Yogyakarta. The results indicated that teachers’ communication competency which consisted of three aspects, i.e. motivation, knowledge, and skills, was urgently required in order to achieve teaching goals. A competent teacher would significantly be able to establish a positive atmosphere and influence among students, thus, enable them to effectively inculcate the designated values. At this school, the multicultural values were integrated into teaching subjects, students’ assessment, specified learning methods, character development, and regular group activities.

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan tempat untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai multikultural yang dilakukan denganmelalui komunikasi pendidikan, sehingga diharapkan dapat menciptakan pendidikan yang dapatmemberikan keharmonisan dalam menghadapi perbedaan. Pendidikan dengan basis multikulturalmemperjuangkan pluralisme agama, ras, etnis dan lain-lain, dan juga dalam hal perbedaankemampuan (difable) Sekolah inklusi adalah sekolah reguler yang pelaksanaannya digabungdengan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian dilakukan di dua sekolah dasar yaitu SDTrirenggo Bantul Yogyakarta dan SD AL Firdaus Surakarta. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalamriset ini adalah bagaimana penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural melalui komunikasi pendidikan diSekolah Dasar Inklusi di SD Trirenggo Bantul Yogyakarta dan SD Al Firdaus Surakarta.Kerangka teoritis yang digunakan adalah komunikasi pendidikan, konsep nilai-nilai multikultural,layanan pendidikan sekolah inklusi, Teori Rhetorical Sensitivity. Penelitian ini berangkat daripendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan dikedua sekolah dasar serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural melalui komunikasi pendidikan di kedua sekolah dasar inklusi tersebutmendasarkan diri empat kategori nilai mutikultural yaitu nilai pluralisme, humanisme, demokrasidan keadilan. Pada metode dan prosesnya melibatkan unsur-unsur dalam dalam komunikasipendidikanyaitu komunikator, komunikan, pesan, media, efek dan lingkungan. Sehingga padaakhirnya penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural melalui komunikasi pendidikan di kedua sekolahtersebut, menciptakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang mampu menghargai keragaman.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemahaman dan praktik komunikasi empati sangat penting  untuk diajarkan kepada para remaja. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan komunikasi dan juga meminimalisir konflik yang terjadi. Komunikasi empatik merupakan komunikasi yang didasarkan pada kesadaran diri untuk saling memahami perasaan dan perhatian pada orang lain yang kita ajak berbicara. Untuk itu pelatihan komunikasi empatik sangat dibutuhkan. Adapun peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah anak anak remaja dari Yayasan Al Kahfi  Jakarta Selatan. Pada hasil evaluasi akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah para remaja menunjukkan antuasisme tinggi, bisa menyerap  esensi isi pelatihan dan menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan secara kognitif atas pemahaman empati tercapai. Program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini selaras dengan pembelajaran di Yayasan Al Kahfi pada anak didiknya, salah satunya adalah mengajarkan empati. Akhirnya dengan pelatihan ini diharapkan para remaja ini memahami dan nantinya memiliki daya empati tinggi yang bermanfaat dalam kehidupan mereka nantinya.Katakunci:  Pelatihan; Komunikasi; Empati.Abstract (Book Antiqua, 12pt Bold) : Empathy communication skills are very urgent to be taught to teenagers so that communication failures do not occur and trigger conflicts. Empathic communication is communication that is based on awareness to understand each other's feelings, and pay attention to whoever is spoken to. Thus, it is very important to teach empathy communication training. The participants of this training are teenagers from the Al Kahfi Foundation, South Jakarta. The result of this training activity is that the teenagers are very enthusiastic, can understand the essence of this training and when evaluated show that cognitively they understand this empathic communication well. Abstract

The research focused on the implementation of marketing communication strategy on Cawang Pro Air Conditioning Product at PT Gobel Dharma Nusantara during the corona virus pandemic .  Since the corona virus (covid-19) pandemic has spread to almost all corners of the world, has hit the business of goods and services.   Many companies must quickly adapt to this condition and also very tight business competition in Air Conditioning products.  PT Gobel Dharma Nusantara must adjust to these conditions to anticipate the product disappearing from the market, which is caused by the health crisis.  The theoretical framework used in this study is  the concept of marketing communication, model concept, marketing communication strategy, online media utilization and AISAS theory. This research was qualitative research with a case study method. The results showed that  the implementation of the marketing communication strategy at PT. Gobel Dharma Nusantara have done 3 strategic steps.  The first step is planning communication marketing including determining marketing communications objectives, setting a marketing communications budget, and determining the development of marketing communications programs. The second step is executing on marketing communications by changing the tools and elements of marketing communications digitally. The third step is evaluating. Thus, the entire implementation of marketing communications is carried out continuously so that the company continues to exist in the midst of the corona virus pandemic situation

Abstract

National character development has never been this urgent due to the rapid development of science and technology as well as globalization nowadays. This effort can be done through storytelling since it is an effective way of the instillation of morality and character development for children of a young age. Animal-themed storytelling activities in Annizomiyah Kindergarten located in Pejaten, South Jakarta, aimed to encourage students to acquire, master and comprehend the noble values in the stories such as honesty, cooperation, etc. Storytelling was one among their other various learning tools in respect of developing national characters. One of the evaluation results of these activities was that the students demonstrated high enthusiasm and abilities to interact with the storytellers. Furthermore, they were also able to answer questions regarding the stories and provided examples in their daily lives. These aforementioned activities had also improved their verbal communication abilities through a question and answer session. In conclusion, interactive storytelling is an effective way to obtain the goals of this school in regards to the character development since noble values can easily be instilled in young children’s mind through interesting and compelling stories so that they will grow as individuals with good moral characters. Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu para guru Sekolah Dasar di SD 05 Ragunan Jakarta adalah masih rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa SD (Sekolah Dasar) dalam berbicara di depan umum melalui teknik berpidato. Sementara itu kemampuan untuk melakukan keterampilan berpidato telah menjadi tahap wajib yang harus dilalui dalam ujian sekolah untuk kelulusan. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut maka kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan memberikan ketrampilan berpidato untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri para siswa untuk berbicara di depan umum di SD 05 Ragunan Jakarta. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah : (1) memberikan pelatihan mengatasi rasa gugup, dan (2) pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam praktek pidato. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah para siswa siap untuk melakukan ujian pidato di sekolah mereka.

Abstract

The cultivation of character values ​​is very urgently needed in forming virtuous teenagers. Character education will strengthen the moral construction of teenagers so that they are not easily swayed in the face of various trials in their lives. The success of the planting cannot be separated from the role of communicators who have special characteristics as communicators. This research focuses on RPTRA Malinjo Jakarta, which is led by Pembina as a communicator. The target in inculcating character values ​​is aimed at teenagers considering that adolescence is a period of searching for identity and is a period that is vulnerable to various kinds of good or bad influences in their environment. Literature review used in this research is the concept of role, the concept of communicator characteristics, the concept of inculcating character values, the concept of youth. The research approach departs from a qualitative approach with data collection techniques with in-depth interviews with RPTRA coaches who meet the characteristics of communicators who carry out their roles in these duties and also to young people in RPTRA. So that the results of the study indicate that the role of the communicator, namely the RPTRA coach in instilling character values, carries out two roles overall. who are credible, have attractiveness and have the power to instill ethical values ​​in various ways and methods.
