Abstract

Students' needs for new innovations in chemistry learning need to be identified by lecturers so that students can be motivated to learn. e-LKM development is one of the innovations that can be carried out to keep up with rapid technological developments. E-LKM will be more complex if integrated with a STEM approach to increase student innovation in learning chemistry. This research used qualitative descriptive research with 10 chemistry education students as research subjects. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews which were then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that 90% students need technology-based learning tools that can be used independently. The teaching materials needed are also expected to not only provide explanations of the material but also help students solve problems in everyday life

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pelatihan pembuatan deterjen cair dan softener yang ditujukan kepada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Jaya Kopah, Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yaitu metode partisipatif yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif dalam seluruh proses penelitian. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan para ibu-ibu PKK dapat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memproduksi deterjen cair dan softener secara mandiri, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga mereka. Pelatihan ini mencakup beberapa tahapan, mulai dari pengenalan bahan dan alat yang digunakan, proses pembuatan, hingga pemasaran produk. Partisipasi aktif dari para ibu PKK dalam setiap tahap pelatihan terlihat dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mereka. Hasil dari penyebaran angket juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan ibu-ibu PKK sangat tinggi, dengan 87% dari 20 partisipan ibu-ibu PKK menyatakan sangat puas terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan pembuatan deterjen cair dan softener dengan metode PAR efektif dalam memberdayakan kelompok ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Jaya Kopah. Pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta, tetapi juga berpotensi memberikan dampak positif terhadap perekonomian keluarga dan masyarakat setempat.Kata kunci: Desa Jaya Kopah, Ibu-Ibu PKK, PAR, Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM)

Abstract

Using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application, this study seeks to develop an Electronic Student Activity Sheet (e-LKM) based on a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) approach to Hydrocarbon Materials. This research is Research and Development (R and D) employing the Plomp model, which consists of Preliminary Research (introduction), Prototype Stage (development), and Evaluation. Utilizing material and media expert validation sheets, this study's data acquisition method is based on expert validation sheets. The validity of e-LKM was demonstrated by material expert validation of 0.93 and media validity of 0.92 for the appropriate category, as determined by Aiken V analysis. The percentage of material validity results is 94.8 per cent, while the percentage of media with intriguing categories is 93%. The results of user responses from lecturers and students yielded percentages of 87% and 90% for the category "interesting." e-LKM's series of activities were founded on a STEM methodology encouraging students to be active, interactive, collaborative, and independent.
