Abstract

School is a time of character growth, which greatly determines a person's moral and intellectual foundations throughout his life. To build students' personalities, education must have a mission that shapes students' personalities. Character education basically focuses on building students who are cultured and dignified. All characters can change, and education is needed to change character. Using qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Basically, the results of the research show that both Islamic boarding schools both implement the character education values ​​proclaimed by the Ministry of National Education, namely values ​​originating from religion, which in this case is Islam, Pancasila, culture, which are in accordance with the objectives of national education, namely: ( 1). Religious, (2). Honestly, (3). Tolerance, (4). Discipline, (5). Hard work, (6). Creative, (7). Independent, (8). Democratic, (9). Curiosity, (10). National spirit, (11). Love of the homeland, (12). Appreciating achievements, (13). Friendly/communicative, (14). Love peace, (15). Likes to read, (16). Care for the environment, (17). Social care, and (18). Responsibility. Supporting factors in implementing the character education model are: The presence of parental participation, Motivation, Leadership, and commitment to cooperation between the Islamic boarding school and parents, while the inhibiting factors in implementing the character education model are: Still minimal attention from parents, Insufficient environment. support, and limited supervision from teachers, caregivers and parents.

Abstract

Using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application, this study seeks to develop an Electronic Student Activity Sheet (e-LKM) based on a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) approach to Hydrocarbon Materials. This research is Research and Development (R and D) employing the Plomp model, which consists of Preliminary Research (introduction), Prototype Stage (development), and Evaluation. Utilizing material and media expert validation sheets, this study's data acquisition method is based on expert validation sheets. The validity of e-LKM was demonstrated by material expert validation of 0.93 and media validity of 0.92 for the appropriate category, as determined by Aiken V analysis. The percentage of material validity results is 94.8 per cent, while the percentage of media with intriguing categories is 93%. The results of user responses from lecturers and students yielded percentages of 87% and 90% for the category "interesting." e-LKM's series of activities were founded on a STEM methodology encouraging students to be active, interactive, collaborative, and independent.

Abstract

Technology that is developing very rapidly is also felt in the world of education, which is called learning technology. The birth of learning technology is in line with the progressivism philosophy that education must always change with the times. This research aims to analyze learning technology from the perspective of progressivism philosophy. The research method used uses qualitative methods. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the philosophy of progressivism and learning technology are similar in terms of the direction of development and change in education. Learning technology is a product of progressivism philosophy. This is because the philosophy of progressivism holds that education must adapt dynamically to the progress of the times, while learning technology is the world of education's response to these changes. In general, learning technology based on the philosophy of progressivism was found to have a lot of suitability both in terms of curriculum, learning process, and users, namely students and teachers.

Abstract

Orang tua dan guru disekolah memiliki tugas menyiapkan anak-anaknya kelak menjadi orang dewasa yang bertanggung jawab. Anak-anak ini nantinya harus mampu mandiri secara fisik dan psikologis untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Urusan memahami anak memang gampang-gampang susah, apalagi anak masuk fase remaja yang merupakan masa transisi dari kanak-kanak menjadi dewasa. Tentunya orang tua dan guru harus pandai-pandai dalam memahami karakter dan ciri-ciri pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dilalui anak. Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi hadir untuk memberikan bantuan kepada remaja untuk mengenal konsep diri yaitu, mengenai dirinya (self-image), cara remaja menghargai dirinya dibandingkan dengan orang lain (self-esteem), dan sosok ideal yang remaja ingin capai (ideal self). Untuk sampai ke titik tersebut, remaja sangat membutuhkan bantuan orang tua dan guru di sekolah serta lingkungan dengan cara, Melakukan aktivitas fisik, Cintai diri sendiri, Fokus pada kelebihan dan Membantu orang lain.
