Abstract

Technological developments make telecommunications networks through internet access an urgent matter due to the increasing human need for communication. The purpose of this study was to describe the development model of a fiber optic laboratory in order to improve students and teachers’ competency. This research used a descriptive qualitative case study method at Public Vocational High School (PVHS) of Dwija Bhakti 1 Jombang. The results stated that the fiber optic laboratory development model is used to print graduates to have competencies that are in accordance with their fields and are expected to be able to compete in the industrial world. Schools collaborate with industry through the provision of fiber optic laboratories as an effort to improve these competencies. By conducting several stages, namely applying the MoU, affording the tools, branding and mocking-ups. In addition, there are teacher training and certification activities followed by curriculum implementation, student certification and the last is activity evaluation. It can be concluded that the development of fiber optic laboratory procurement at Public Vocational High School (PVHS) of Dwija Bhakti 1 Jombang has been in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Education and Culture with PT Telkom regarding the link and match curriculum in the field of fiber optic.

Abstract

Media video pembelajaran terbukti sebagai sarana yang efisien dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep dan mendorong motivasi belajar mahasiswa, khususnya pada mata kuliah anatomi di Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) Universitas Kahuripan Kediri pada semester pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan video pembelajaran anatomi menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE untuk menghasilkan media yang interaktif, informatif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran digital saat ini. Metode Research and Development (R&D) diterapkan dengan melibatkan 30 mahasiswa PJKR sebagai subjek uji coba. Proses pengembangan mencakup analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran melalui observasi dan wawancara, desain video berdasarkan kurikulum anatomi, pengembangan dengan perangkat lunak multimedia, implementasi hasil revisi berdasarkan validasi ahli materi, bahasa, media, dan IT, serta evaluasi efektivitas menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil pengembangan media video yang telah melalui proses validasi ahli materi, bahasa, media, dan teknologi informasi serta uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran ini valid, layak, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran anatomi. Uji keefektifan melalui pretest dan posttest menghasilkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,7 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model ADDIE efektif sebagai kerangka kerja dalam mengembangkan media video pembelajaran anatomi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mendukung transformasi digital di pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies, particularly Deep Learning, presents opportunities to enhance adaptive cognitive learning in vocational education. This study investigates the integration of Deep Learning into the teaching of fiber optic network competencies in the Computer and Network Engineering (TJKT) program at vocational schools. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol, relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025 were retrieved from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. Findings reveal that Deep Learning enables real-time modeling of student learning patterns, supports personalized content delivery via learning management systems, and facilitates simulation and troubleshooting in fiber optic training. However, challenges include limited training data, inadequate computing infrastructure, and insufficient teacher readiness. The study concludes that implementing Deep Learning can significantly improve practical learning effectiveness, provided that infrastructure and educator competencies are strengthened
