Abstract

The community service aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable utilization of mangrove forest resources through environmentally conscious management. Through a participatory approach involving local communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations, the identification of dominant mangrove species, mapping of critical areas, and development of sustainable management plans are conducted. Through education, training, and field socialization activities, communities are empowered to understand the ecological and economic benefits of mangrove forests as well as environmentally friendly management techniques. The result is an increased awareness of the importance of preserving mangrove forests and their sustainable utilization, while creating economic and social benefits for the local community. Active community involvement in management enhances the longterm sustainability of this project.

Abstract

This literature research focuses on the impact of high business premises rental prices on product selling prices, a critical issue that influences business dynamics and consumer behavior. With rental costs rising, many businesses face the dilemma of maintaining profit margins without offloading additional costs to consumers. This research uses a literature review method to explore how rising rental prices affect pricing decisions by businesses, as well as consumer responses to these price changes. This research reveals that rising rental prices often force businesses to adjust selling prices, which can influence consumer purchasing behavior. Furthermore, this study highlights business strategies in managing high rental costs, including operational optimization and adoption of e-commerce business models to reduce dependence on physical locations. The research also discusses the long-term implications of rising rental prices on business sustainability and customer loyalty, and offers recommendations to stakeholders on how to navigate this challenge effectively. It is hoped that the results of this research can help businesses formulate responsive and innovative pricing strategies, as well as increase understanding of the dynamics of rental prices and their impact on the business ecosystem as a whole.

Abstract

Environmental issues are a major threat to the survival of humans and other living creatures. In the digital era, the role of media in environmental ecology has become more complex. One way the media contributes to environmental ecology is by conveying information about environmental issues that require attention. Thanks to the media, many issues such as climate change, plastic pollution and sustainability are at the center of public attention. The media also plays an important role in exposing destructive practices that damage the environment, triggering responses from governments and civil society. Unraveling the ecological impact of media in the digital era is an important step in understanding the role of media in environmental conservation. The media has a great ability to shape our perceptions and actions towards environmental issues. This research investigates in depth the social content: the impact of the development of the digital era on environmental issues using a literature review approach. Abstract

This research discusses the development of e-commerce applications with the integration of secure payment methods. The focus of this literature is to analyze the various approaches and technologies used to ensure secure financial transactions in e-commerce platforms. In the current digital era, payment security is an important factor that influences user trust and comfort. Through a study of various literature sources and previous research, we found that encryption technology, tokenization, and compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) play a key role in preventing fraud and protecting customer data. Additionally, diversification of payment methods to include credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and bank transfers, not only enhances security but also provides more flexibility for users. This research also highlights the importance of regular evaluations and audits to keep systems up-to-date with the latest threats. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of secure payment methods not only increases the level of customer trust and loyalty but also becomes a critical business strategy for the long-term sustainability of e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This research aims to identify potential hazards and assess the level of fire risk in a textile company located in Sukoharjo Regency using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The research background is based on the high fire hazard potential in the textile industry due to the use of flammable chemicals, high operating temperatures, and the accumulation of combustible fibers and textile dust. A descriptive research approach was applied through field observations, interviews with workers and the OHS team, and technical document analysis. The results showed that the highest risk levels were found in the dyeing process, electrical panel room, and machine maintenance activities (welding/repair), with risk scores reaching 20 (high category). The main contributing factors included non-standard electrical installations, poor ventilation, and unsafe work behavior. Risk control strategies are recommended through technical, administrative, and behavioral approaches, including smoke detection systems, routine evacuation training, and the reinforcement of safety culture. The implementation of these measures is expected to improve the effectiveness of occupational health and safety management systems and reduce the potential for fire incidents in the textile industry.

Abstract

Mangrove forest management is important in efforts to preserve the environment in coastal areas. This research aims to 1) determine the condition of mangrove forests after rehabilitation, 2) determine the impact of mangrove forest rehabilitation activities on the community, 3) determine the forms of community participation in mangrove forests, 4) determine alternative strategies for ideal mangrove forest management. This research uses a survey approach with interviews and field observations. The population is all coastal residents in the research area, the sampling technique uses “cluster random sampling”. Data collection methods used interviews and field observations, while data analysis on coastal resource management strategies was carried out using a SWOT analysis approach. The research results show that 1) the mangrove vegetation found includes 4 species from 3 families, namely the Avicenniaceae family (Avicennia marina), the Euphorbiaceae family (Excoecariaagallocha), and the Rhizophoraceae family (Rhizophoramucronata, Rhizophoraapiculata, and Bruguieragymnorizum) 2) The impact of mangrove forest rehabilitation in the area research is increasing fish catches, reducing coastal erosion, preventing sea breezes, increasing biota catches (shrimp, crabs, shellfish) on the coast, and turning the area into a tourist attraction area. 3) forms of participation in the form of thoughts amounting to (39.45%), energy (52.94%), expertise (65.91%), and goods/money (50.88%), 4) mangrove management strategy in Tanggul Tlare Village, Jepara Regency consists of 4 main priorities namely community development in carrying out planting based on existing potential, increasing socialization to the community about the dangers of careless logging of mangroves, providing counseling and outreach about the environment and mangrove ecosystems, providing outreach regarding the implementation of government regulations regarding the environment. The conclusions of this research include 1) the mangrove vegetation diversity index value in Tanggul Tlare Village, Kedung District, Jepara Regency is moderately abundant, 2) The impact of rehabilitation activities on mangrove forest management in Tanggul Tlare Village provides good and positive benefits to the community, 3) forms of participation that have been carried out by the community include thoughts, energy, contributions of expertise, and donations of goods/money, 4) community-based mangrove forest management strategies can be developed ideally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study looks at the financial assistance, innovation, and regulatory environment as key determinants of the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in the West Javan cities of Depok and Bogor. A structured questionnaire survey was used to gather data from MSME owners and operators using a quantitative research approach. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show a strong correlation between financial assistance, innovation, the business climate, and MSME expansion. Increased MSME growth is linked to better financial support, innovative ideas, and a supportive regulatory framework. These results highlight the significance of addressing a variety of issues in order to promote the expansion of MSMEs and offer insightful information to stakeholders, policymakers, and company owners who wish to assist in the growth of the MSME sector in the area.
