Abstract

Most research on the aims of Islamic education is carried out from the perspective of education as the essence and humans as the subject. However, discussions that study educational objectives from an object perspective still lack information, especially in terms of taking the perspective of several surahs of the Koran. The aim of this research is to describe the aims of education based on verses of the Koran. This research method uses a qualitative method with a library approach, the main information is obtained through books and articles. The research results show that Islamic education is used to teach people about the commands and prohibitions of Allah SWT. over themselves. Thus, the aim of Islamic education is to optimize and empower human reason to act in a good way, not in a wrong way.

It has become an axiom that parents are responsible for their children's education. Parents are the first teachers for children. It is appropriate that since waiting for the birth of a child, even before marriage, prospective parents have planned how to raise and educate their children. The aim of this research is to describe the responsibilities of parents in raising children at an early age based on al-Maragh's interpretation of the Al-Qur'an verse 9 of Surah An-Nisa. This research uses a qualitative research method with a library approach, the main source of information is obtained from reading materials from books, magazines, articles and interpretations of the al-Maragh hadith which contain the thoughts of Imam al-Maragh. Data analysis was carried out through the following stages: data processing (unification), data classification, data interpretation. This research produced several results. First, the Al-Qur'an, Surah Al-Nisa verse 9, contains a warning to every parent that they will be worried and afraid if in the future they have to leave their child in a weak and helpless state. Second, parents are responsible for educating young children. The areas of education that are the responsibility of parents are physical and spiritual education, religious education, and character education.

Abstract

Character education plays a crucial role in shaping students who excel not only academically but also possess strong moral and social values. In this regard, the government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, has launched the Strengthening Character Education (PPK) policy as a strategic step to create a generation of character. This study aims to explore how the PPK policy is implemented in elementary schools and analyze the factors that support and hinder its implementation. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, and documentation studies. The results show that the PPK policy has been implemented through the integration of character values into the learning process, extracurricular activities, and school culture. Several factors supporting the success of this implementation include the principal's visionary leadership, active teacher involvement, and support from parents and the community. However, several challenges remain, such as a lack of supporting facilities, uneven teacher training, and difficulties in consistently integrating character values across all subjects. Overall, the PPK policy in elementary schools has had a positive impact on student character development, although further strengthening is still needed in terms of training, evaluation, and collaboration between all stakeholders.
