Abstract

Fulfillment of safety requirements in the use of aircraft, airspace, flight navigation, airports, air transportation and other supporting facilities is known as aviation safety. Aviation security and safety must be a top priority for all parts of aviation service providers, especially airports, during their operations. So that flight operations are not disrupted by aviation accidents, such as aircraft failure during landing or take-off, and fires, they must be handled immediately. One part of dealing with emergencies at airports is aviation accident assistance and firefighting. This research uses a literature review method, namely by conducting a literature review or literature review. In order to get results. In a plane accident, an institution or team is definitely needed to help the accident victims, so a search and rescue or what in Indonesian is called search and rescue, was formed. Aviation security at an airport is the responsibility of the Airport Authority. Apart from forming an airport security committee, the Airport Authority also forms aviation security personnel at each airport it manages. The campaign discussing aid in plane crashes and aviation safety at high schools in Jayapura is very useful, this is because the knowledge they gain about aid in plane crashes while working in the aviation industry will produce high quality human resources.

Abstract

Aviation safety management becomes more important to be considered because flight accidents can give a broader impact. Not only endangering its crews and passengers, but flight accidents also threaten people’s lives on the ground. This article then aims to explain the factors that influence aviation safety management. In the process, the authors use the qualitative research method by focusing on the literature review or studying the previous research. The result of this article shows that there are three factors that have an influence to aviation safety management. First, the human factor includes pilots, aviation operators, and other aviation staff. Second, operating space which includes weather conditions and the airport. Third, aircraft and its technologies which can be seen through good aircraft design and construction, as well as the technology that has a crucial role in aircraft operation.

Abstract

Despite the abundance of solar energy potential in Indonesia, the utilization has not been optimal. PLN, as the state power grid provider, can not meet the increasing electricity demand in all regions of Indonesia. This research will discuss utilizing the potential of the On-Grid system PLTS planning on the Rooftop of the Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic Women's Dormitory Building in Tanjung Ria District, North Jayapura City. This PLTS design uses PvSyst programming to measure and analyze data from a complete solar PV system, aided by SketchUp Pro, to demonstrate 3D plan views. The result is data on the potential annual production of electrical energy, including the total energy produced, the energy distributed, and the value of the PLTS work ratio with data output. The configuration installed at the Poltekbang Jayapura women's dormitory is an AC Coupling On-Grid PLTS with 400 Wp Photovoltaic modules. From the PvSyst simulation that has been carried out, it can be obtained that the potential for electrical energy in the Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic Dormitory Building is 323,905 kWh / year with a PLTS capacity of 230 kWp with a Performance Ratio of 0,829.

Abstract

Ambon Pattimura International Airport is an airport that serves domestic and international flights. This airport always experiences an increase in passengers every year. Therefore, good service standards and guaranteed security are needed. When the author conducted research at Pattimura International Airport, Ambon, the author found problems in the field related to service standards at the passenger terminal, especially in the waiting area. The reason is the implementation of the new normal at the airport which requires the seat capacity in the waiting room to be reduced by fifty percent of the number of seats available so that there is the potential for crowds of passengers in the area and disrupt the smooth flow of passengers. So the author concludes the need for a review of service standards in the waiting room area. The research methodology uses descriptive qualitative research methods, namely by describing the current state of the object of research and by using a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from direct observations in the field, especially in the waiting room area of the gate waiting room at Pattimura International Airport, Ambon. The results of the research that the authors examine prove that a review and coordination between work units at the airport is still needed. This is done so that there is no accumulation of passengers in the gate waiting room area and provides a sense of comfort to airport service users.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the standardization of Check Road to improve the security on the airside of Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. The research method used is qualitative, collecting data through observations, literature review, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study reveal the need for improvement measures, including adjusting the facilities according to the established standards, expanding the coverage of perimeter patrols, and planning for the fulfillment of standards by the airport management. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that standardization of the Check Road on the airside of Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang is necessary to enhance security.

Abstract

The use of lights and air conditioners (AC) in cadet dormitories sometimes often forget to turn off when not in use so that this becomes a waste of electrical energy and can cause a short circuit. So, the research objective is to develop an efficient solution for users to control and monitor electrical devices in a system. The system development process begins with selecting the appropriate hardware for control and monitoring needs using the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and additional components such as relay modules to control loads and PZEM-004T sensors that can function like kWH meters. In addition, it also uses the Blynk IoT application as a user interface that allows users to control and monitor electrical devices through mobile devices. So this research method is a development that will be tested to determine the feasibility of a tool. The result is that the developed tool has good test results and can be applied in the cadet dormitory.
