Abstract

This study examines Apple Inc.’s mitigation strategies amid escalating U.S.–China tariff tensions. Using ISO 31000, COSO ERM, and the Four T Model, key risks are assessed through a probability–severity matrix and heatmap based on Apple’s 2024 Annual Report and industrial data. The analysis reveals that diversification efforts to India and Vietnam remain symbolic, as Apple’s core dependencies—such as final assembly and chip fabrication—persist in high-risk regions like China and Taiwan. Financial hedging and supplier shifts show partial effectiveness but fail to address long-term geopolitical volatility. Comparisons with Samsung and Google demonstrate Apple’s relative rigidity in adapting supply chain strategies. Findings suggest the need for deeper structural reforms emphasizing proactive geopolitical forecasting and ESG-integrated vendor governance to build enduring resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze how user perceptions shape sustainable usage in Crypto apps, a group of cryptocurrency exchange platforms based in Indonesia that facilitate buying, selling, and trading various digital assets. Utilizing a quantitative-causal approach, questionnaires were distributed to 245 users of several Crypto Apps in Indonesia, such as Tokocrypto, Indodax, Pintu, Rekeningku, Triv, Koinku, Upbit Indonesia, Bitocto, Zipmex, IDEX, Pluto, and Bechipin, to gather data. This study is grounded in the technology acceptance model (TAM), which postulates that perceived usefulness and ease of use significantly influence users' attitudes and behavioral intentions toward technology adoption. By applying TAM, the research seeks to identify the key factors driving sustainable usage of Crypto apps. The collected data was analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the hypotheses. The results indicate that perceived usefulness and ease of use positively impact consumer attitudes and intention to continue using the platform. However, consumer attitude does not directly impact continuance intention and does not serve as a mediating factor. These findings hold practical implications for Crypto apps, suggesting the need to improve service quality and application features to maintain user loyalty. Moreover, the study contributes theoretically to understanding the factors influencing users’ intentions to use cryptocurrency applications. In summary, users’ perceptions of the application's benefits and ease of use significantly shape their attitudes and intentions to continue using Crypto apps.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Indonesian Generation Z's perceptions of the institution of marriage, identify factors driving marriage postponement, and understand the dynamics of social value change in contemporary society. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, this research involved 15 participants aged 18-28 from South Jakarta, Bogor, and South Tangerang who were interviewed in-depth with semi-structured guidelines. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo software through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding stages. The results show that Generation Z still regards marriage as a sacred and meaningful institution, but positions it more personally and reflectively as a legal and emotional commitment undertaken consciously. The decision to postpone marriage is influenced by factors of financial readiness, mental and emotional maturity, and alignment of life vision and mission with partners. Meanwhile, social values about marriage have undergone significant shifts from primary life goals to flexible, egalitarian life choices based on self-actualization. Digitization and social media exposure are also found to be factors that strengthen anxiety toward long-term relationships, especially through negative narratives about divorce or unhealthy relationships. These findings align with Maslow's theory of needs, where Generation Z's decisions about marriage reflect the need for financial security, self-esteem, and self-actualization. This study makes an important contribution to enriching qualitative literature on Indonesian youth relationship dynamics, while offering recommendations for BKKBN, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and educational institutions in formulating youth empowerment policies and relationship literacy education.

Abstract

This research explores the dynamics of traditional leadership in the Ma'anyan Dayak community in East Kutai in the midst of modernity and digital transformation. Using a qualitative approach with interpretive phenomenological methods, this study delves into the subjective experience of an indigenous youth named TP in understanding, responding, and reflecting on changes to the values and structure of indigenous leadership in his community. The findings show that although the formal structure of indigenous leadership has experienced a decline in authority, basic values such as deliberation, mutual cooperation, respect for ancestors, and solidarity are still alive and maintained through cultural mechanisms. Youth play an important role in cultural revitalization, particularly through art studios, traditional craft training, and the use of social media as a space for documentation and informal education. Traditional leadership is no longer viewed only from the structural or hereditary side, but must have social credibility, personal charisma, and the ability to bridge local values with the demands of the times. Social media, for example, is an effective means of disseminating cultural values to the digital-native young generation. Theoretically, this research reinforces the concepts of symbolic leadership, charismatic authority, and mediatized traditions, which show that traditional leadership is not a static entity, but rather a dynamic and adaptive one. The main contribution of this study is to highlight the importance of local narratives as a form of resistance to cultural marginalization in national discourse as well as to open up space for community-based policies and interventions. With the active involvement of the younger generation and a participatory approach, indigenous leadership can remain relevant, live socially, and be part of the solution in building an empowered and dignified future of indigenous communities.

Abstract

his study aims to propose a halal tourism model by adopting religious humanism integrated with the creative industry as a baseline. This is a legal study with a statutory approach, relying on various laws and regulations as the primary data, including MUI’s fatwas. This study found that religious humanism can be integrated into the development of the halal tourism industry based on creative industries, with Regional Regulations (Perda) as the guideline. The integration of religious humanism in development is possible with the participation of all stakeholders. This is because the development of halal tourism is not merely about tourism objects but also the community. In this case, religious people easily accept the idea and are willing to participate as long as the integration is structured.
