Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of students who still have difficulty learning in PAI subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's efforts in overcoming student learning difficulties in PAI subjects. This study uses a qualitative method of descriptive approach by conducting observations, interviews and document studies. The results and conclusions of this study, teachers make efforts to overcome learning difficulties by building trust, strong communication, making PAI learning fun and meaningful, increasing students' understanding and ability by explaining the material, increasing the motivation of students' enthusiasm for learning and increasing competence and self professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; (1) The effect of applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, think pair share and conventional on Islamic Religious Education subjects; (2) Student learning outcomes based on school origin factors; (3) Interaction between learning models and school origin factors. The approach taken in this study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this research is class X students of SMK Negeri 10 Bandung. The data analysis technique used in this research is two-way ANOVA analysis. The results showed that; (1) There are differences in student learning outcomes in PAI subjects based on jigsaw, think pair share and conventional cooperative learning models; (2) There are no differences in student learning outcomes based on school origin factors; (3) There is no interaction between learning models and school origin factors in determining student learning outcomes. Cooperative learning models of jigsaw type, think pair share and conventional applied have an influence on student learning outcomes based on school origin in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

Character building in students is part of the main task of the vision of national education. In the process of character building, an educator is important to instill the values of understanding religious moderation in order to foster an attitude of tolerance and a spirit of unity in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of religious moderation-based PAI textbooks implemented in SMKN 10 Bandung students. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting observations, interviews and document studies. The results showed that students have a better understanding of religious moderation, tolerant and inclusive attitudes, and positive character based on the principles of Tawasuth, Tawazun, I'tidal, Tasamuh, Musawah, and Shura.
