Abstract

The likelihood of injury because of sports is normal, particularly in soccer sports that have the potential for body contact. One of the ongoing injury treatment is using Cold Compression and Kinesio Taping. The aim of this study was to decide the impact of the utilization of Cold Compression combined with Kinesio Taping on Achilles Ligament wounds and Patella wounds of football competitors. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with the research design of The Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In this study we use instruments VISA-A (Victorian Establishment of Game Evaluation Achilles), VISA-P (Patella) and ROM (Range of Motion) to quantify the degree of agony experienced by partisipants. Partisipants in this study were football athlete who suffered an injury adding up to 19 partisipants, going in age from 16 to 24 years. We used a purposive sampling approach used with several participant criteria and incidental sampling. There are two groups, namely the group given treatment in the form of Cold Compression combined with Kinesio Taping, there are 9 athletes in this group with details of 5 Achilles injured athletes and 4 Patella injured athletes. The second group was a control group of 10 athletes with details of 5 Achilles injured athletes and 5 Patella injured athletes. The study was conducted for 8 days with the distribution of 4 days Cold Compression treatment and 4 days Kinesio Taping treatment. The analysis requirements tests used are normality tests, homogeneity tests, and for hypothesis tests using paired sample t-tests (parametrics). The results showed a significant effect on the Cold Compression group combined with Kinesio Taping compared to the control group. For future researchers, it is recommended to examine using different methodologies and with different types of injuries.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Fitness Education Model in enhancing learning achievement in physical education, sports, and health subjects among students at public senior high schools. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Students from public senior high school 1 Polewali comprised the study's population, and the n-stage random sampling technique selected a sample of 50 students, including 30 males and 20 females. We collected data through observation and questionnaires. Data analysis used a t-test with a significance level of 5% to compare the results of the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the implementation of the Fitness Education Model was effective in improving student learning achievement compared to conventional methods. Students in the experimental group experienced an average increase in posttest scores of 17.5 points, compared to 9.5 points in the control group. Statistical tests showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two groups. In addition, qualitative observations indicated that students in the experimental group were more active, motivated, and showed better social engagement than the control group. Therefore, we can conclude that the Fitness Education Model not only enhances students' motor and cognitive skills but also fosters the development of character traits like responsibility and cooperation.

Abstract

This study is an experimental approach that utilizes educational video-based play methods to enhance the social-emotional skills of children with special needs through physical education learning. This study employs a single-group pretest-posttest research design. The number of samples in this study was 23 children with special needs. The data collection technique employed a social emotional questionnaire, which consisted of 15 statements provided to parents of students and had a Cronbach's Alpha instrument reliability of 0.952. We used a paired sample t-test for the data analysis technique. The results of the data analysis showed that the Sig. data value was 0.001 < 0.05. Therefore, we can conclude that the pre-test and post-test data on the social-emotional aspects of children with special needs differ. Furthermore, the mean value of the pre-test social-emotional data was 45.04, while the mean value of the post-test social-emotional data was 52.13, resulting in a mean difference of 7.087. Based on these results, we can conclude that the video-based play learning method in physical education influences the social-emotional aspects of children with special needs. Meanwhile, the results of the N-Gain test show that the effectiveness of the video-based play method in physical education learning to improve the social emotions of children with special needs is in the moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of sports implementation time, namely morning and evening, on the VO2Max of futsal athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. Formulation of the problem What is the difference in the VO2Max value of futsal athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar who exercise in the morning compared to those who exercise in the evening? This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The research sample consisted of 10 futsal athletes who exercised in the morning and 10 athletes who exercised in the evening. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests with a significance value of P<0.05. The research results showed that the average VO2Max value of athletes who exercised in the morning was 37.8700, while athletes who exercised in the evening had an average VO2Max of 36.2100. The statistical test results showed a P value of 0.00 (P<0.05), which indicated a significant difference between the two groups. The difference in VO2 Max between morning and evening exercise is 1.6600, which shows that morning exercise tends to provide better VO2 Max results than evening exercise. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the timing of sports has an influence on the VO2 Max of futsal athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. Exercise done in the morning is more effective in increasing VO2 max capacity compared to exercise in the evening.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI di SDN 198 Cinennung, Kabupaten Bone melalui pengenalan komputer dasar. Program berlangsung selama lima bulan dan dilaksanakan dua kali seminggu, setiap sesi berdurasi 60 menit. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi dengan pihak sekolah, implementasi pembelajaran komputer, dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengenalan perangkat keras, perangkat lunak dasar, serta etika penggunaan teknologi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman, keterampilan, dan sikap positif siswa terhadap teknologi digital. Program ini membuktikan bahwa dengan pendekatan yang tepat dan dukungan sekolah, literasi digital dapat ditanamkan sejak dini meskipun dalam kondisi keterbatasan sarana. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pembelajaran yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah dasar lain di daerah serupa.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek yang menunjukan kemampuan pedagogis guru PJOK adalah penerapan model pembelajaran yang khas dalam PJOK. Dalam hal ini, ialah model pendidikan gerak yang dikenal sebagai model pembelajaran yang dominan kepada aspek psikomotorik yang mana proses pendidikan melalui gerak. Fenomena yang kami temukan bahwa Sebagian guru-guru PJOK masih belum memahami dengan baik esensi dari model pendidikan gerak tersebut. Padahal belajar gerak merupakan hal yang mendasar dan penting terhadap keterampilan gerak yang lebih kompleks. Peserta didik diharapkan memiliki keterampilan gerak yang mapan, sehingga di jenjang selanjutnya, dalam hal ini penguasaan cabang olahraga tertentu yang tentunya pola gerak yang lebih kompleks, mereka bisa melakukan dengan baik dan benar. Oleh sebab itu, kami menggunakan metode mensosialisasikan terlebih dulu terkait pentingnya penerapan model pendidikan gerak pada mata Pelajaran PJOK. Kemudian, melakukan pelatihan terhadap mitra pengabdian agar mampu menerapkan model pendidikan gerak di kelasnya masing-masing. Melalui pengabdian ini kami hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa guru-guru PJOK sangat terbantu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogisnya melalui pelatihan ini, sebab selama ini belum ada pelatihan khusus model pendidikan kebugaran kepada guru-guru PJOK di kabupaten Polewali Mandar.
