Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat pada kepala sekolah dan guru dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan pada anak, tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mencegah anak melakukan tindakan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan maupun dalam kegiatan sekolah di luar lingkungan satuan pendidikan; dan mengatur mekanisme pencegahan, penanggulangan, dan sanksi terhadap tindakan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan yang melibatkan anak, baik sebagai korban maupun pelaku. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan praktik penaganan kerasan anak.. Berdasarkan data hasil monitoring dan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana terhadap program PKM dapat diambil kesimpulan diantaranya, yaitu; bahwa program PKM sangat bermanfaat bagi kepala sekolah dan guru terlihat hasil tes sebelum pelatihan kategori kurang baik dan setelah pelatihan kategori baik, dimana program PKM yang telah dilaksanakan bisa berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada hambatan yang berarti terlihat kepala sekolah dan guru sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dan kepala sekolah dan guru dapat melakukan pemecahan masalah jika terjadi perilaku kekerasan pada anak.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine whether or not authentic materials are attractive to SMA Negeri 9 Bulukumba students in the tenth grade, as well as to improve the students' achievement in paragraph writing utilising authentic resources. Quasi-experiment research methodology was used. The study was conducted in the academic year of 2023–2024 at SMA Negeri 9 Bulukumba. There were 300 students in the study, divided into 10 classes. Out of 300 students, 40 were chosen randomly and divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group. This made up the sample. Test writing instruments were employed. The test was used to gather information about the students' writing proficiency. The t-test was used to evaluate the data. The study's findings demonstrated that students' proficiency in writing paragraphs with authentic materials is greater to their proficiency with writing paragraphs without them. The mean scores of the students’ post-test who were taught using authentic materials were 76.55. However, the students' achievement on the post-test that was taught without the use of authentic materials had a mean score of 59.75. It can be stated, then, that teaching students with actual materials improves their ability to write paragraphs.

Abstract

Pelatihan kompetensi profesional bagi tenaga kependidikan di sekolah dasar merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan sikap profesional tenaga kependidikan termasuk staf administrasi, pustakawan, laboran, dan tenaga pendukung lainnya dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan praktik langsung berbasis tugas kerja. Peserta pelatihan berasal dari berbagai sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Takalar Sulawesi Selatan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap peran dan tanggung jawab profesional, serta keterampilan teknis dan administratif yang relevan. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan bagi tenaga kependidikan demi mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan dasar yang berkualitas.

Abstract

This research was to find out whether the use of Buzzword writing technique to improve students writing ability at the first semester of STKIP-YPUP Makassar. The method used in this research was a pre-experimental using one group pre-test and post-test. This population of this research was the first semester of STKIP-YPUP Makassar which consist of one class was one classroom, the total population was 35 students. The researcher applied a random sampling technique by taking the first semester. To collect data, the researcher used an instrument, namely writing test. It will be used in pre-test and post-test. The test questions consisted of 10 items, they were 10 multiple choice buzzwords and 10 fill in the blank questions. The students’ post-test was higher than the students’ pre-test (85 > 33.66). The T-Test was higher than the T-Table (27.659 > 2.144). Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that Buzzword Writing Technique improves the students’ writing ability.
