Abstract

This research aimed to improve the skill in appreciating dances owned by the students of Primary Teacher Education of Makassar State University, to improve the perception towards audio-visual based art appreciation, to increase the students’ interest in audio-visual based art education subject, and to increase the students’ responses to the subject. This research was classroom action research using the research design created by Kemmis & MC. Taggart, which was conducted to 42 students of Primary Teacher Education of Makassar State University. The data collection was conducted using observation, questionnaire, and interview. The techniques of data analysis applied in this research were descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research were: (1) the students’ achievement in audio-visual based dance appreciation improved: precycle 33,33%,  cycle I  42,85% and cycle II 83,33%, (2) the students’ perception towards the audio-visual based dance appreciation improved: cycle I 59,52%, and cycle II 71,42%. The students’ perception towards the subject obtained through structured interview in cycle I and II was 69,83% in a high category, (3) the interest of the students in the art education subject, especially audio-visual based dance appreciation, increased: cycle I 52,38% and cycle II 64,28%, and the students’ interest in the subject obtained through structured interview was 69,50 % in a high category. (3) the students’ response to audio-visual based dance appreciation  increased: cycle I 54,76% and cycle II 69,04% in a good category.

Abstract

The aims of this development are (1) to describe the art of dance training model which have ever given, (2) to describe of training needs of the appreciation of local dance for the teacher of elementary school, (3) to describe first draft of the appreciation of local dance training model for the elementary school teacher, (4) to describe the result of the first design of draft model and set of appreciation training of local dance for the elementary school teacher, (5) to describe the result of expert team evaluation (expert of management, art, and lecture of the art of dance) to the model of training set which is useful for elementary school teacher training; (6) to describe the limited trial result of the implementation of appreciation training model of local dance for elementary school teacher; (7) to describe the appreciation training model of local dance which is developed after getting the trial. The research method is Research and Development (R & D). The implementation of model uses single one shot case study design with one group pre-test and post-test. Survey respondents are primary school teachers in Makassar. Data collection interview and questionnaires. Effectiveness of the model is tested through test validation by experts and practitioners, as well as a limited experiment through training. And, the data is analyzed descriptively. The findings of this study are the aspects which affect the needs and success of ASTNDS training implementation. They are: (1) training materials, (2) training programs, (3) the form of training, (4) training instructor, (5) training facilities & infrastructure, and (6) CD of dance training. Other findings are generating ASTNDS training model and devices which refers to management functions (2-steps planning; 4-steps implementation, and 2-steps evaluation). Validation and experimental test results show that the model of a hypothetical model of local dance is effective for primary school teachers training. Researcher recommends applying ASTNDS model and training devices in a primary school teacher training because it is proved that it is effective for teacher training on the subject of art, culture and skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to find out need analysis of lesson planning to teach education value of Sulawesi ethnic dance which comprises learning material, teaching method and learning model, learning media, as well as an assessment instrument. A method implemented in this study was research and development (R&D) with three main stages, namely, preliminary study, developmental research, and evaluation. This study, however, will only implement the first stage of study which is the preliminary study. This is implemented to perform need and content analysis. Abstract

Pembelajaran seni tari  khususnya pada penanaman nilai kearifan lokal masih memerlukan penanganan yang lebih baik  agar sasaran semakin mudah dicapai pada akhirnya  pendidikan nilai kearifan lokal menjadi sistem yang semakin fleksibel. Lembaga sekolah agar menata manajemen pendidikan nilai budaya, dan  guru sekolah dasar yang tidak berlatar belakang bakat seni agar berminat untuk mengikuti pelatihan pembelajaran seni tari berbasis saintifik, yang berhubungan dengan strategi manajemen pendidikan nilai budaya daerah setempat yang melibatkan seluruh pendidik yang dicamtumkan dalam kurikulum 2013. Implementasi pendidikan seni tari di sekolah dasar belum efektif, sistem kerja yang menggunakan manajemen partisipatif belum optimal, karena upaya motivasi sekolah terhadap para pendidik masih rendah. Kepengawasan yang dilakukan dengan memantau, mengamati, mensupervisi, mengkomunikasi, dan melalui laporan serta evaluasi belum maksimal, sehingga sikap dan perilaku peserta didik belum semuanya mencerminkan nilai-nilai lokal dan nilai spiritual secara utuh. Mata pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya bertujuan agar peserta didik memiliki kemampuan sebagai berikut. (1) Memahami konsep dan pentingnya seni budaya dan keterampilan; (2) Menampilkan sikap apresiasi terhadap seni budaya dan keterampilan; (3) Menampilkan kreativitas melalui seni budaya dan keterampilan; (4) Menampilkan peran serta dalam seni budaya dan keterampilan dalam tingkat lokal, regional, maupun global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kebutuhan pelatihan apresiasi seni daerah setempat bagi guru sekolah dasar, bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilakukan oleh guru sekolah dasar, dan jenis bahan ajar apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Responden penelitian adalah guru sekolah dasar di Makassar. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini, kebutuhan dan keberhasilan pelaksanaan pelatihan dipengaruhi oleh materi pelatihan, program pelatihan, bentuk pelatihan, instruktur pelatihan, sarana & prasarana pelatihan dan CD tari pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  kebutuhan akan pelatihan apresiasi seni tari Nusantara daerah setempat  sangat tinggi dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru sekolah dasar di Makassar terbukti dari angket kebutuhan yang diberikan kepada guru sekolah dasar sebanyak 30 orang, bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilakukan oleh guru sekolah dasar kurang baik, dengan rerata skor 2.01, dan jenis bahan ajar apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan di sekolah dasar juga kurang baik, dengan rerata skor 2,19.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, apresiasi, seni tari, Nusantara daerah setempat.

Abstract

The general objective of this study was to determine the development needs of profesional competence through training PTK journal writing in primary school teacher. Method used R & D model design development models Borg and Gall were 10 steps. Based on the ten steps tersebutoleh Sukmadinata modified into three steps of research and development, the research phase developed, namely: (1) the preliminary study stage as needs and contens analysis, (2) the development stage as the design, development, and evaluation, (3) stages of testing the effectiveness of product as a semi-sumative evaluation. This research was conducted only at a preliminary stage only and R & D. The data collection technique through, questionnaires and dokumentasi.Subjek research on teachers in KabupatenTakalar which numbered 40 people. The results showed the development requirements of profesional competence through training journal writing PTK elementary school teacher in Takalar category really need or very important. And judging by the results of the assessment of teacher performance in the unfavorable category of profesional competence.

Abstract

Abstrak Seni dalam kaitannya dengan dunia pendidikan secara luas berperan untuk meningkatkan kebudayaan manusia.Dengan kritik, orang akan belajar dan tahu tentang kelebihan dan kekurangannya, termasuk dalam bidang kesenian. Dari pengetahuannya tentang kritik berarti akan menambah pengetahuannya tentang peningkatan kualitas sebuah karya seni. Kesenian (estetika) merupakan perwujudan nilai rasa dalam arti luas. Seseorang dalam memberikan kritik, tidak bisa terlepas dari akal murni saja. Ungkapan kritik yang keluar dari intuisi yang bukan kritikus akan menghasilkan kritikan yang bersifat tidak rasional, namum demikian bukan berarti seni bersifat irasional, sebab di dalam seni direalisasikan nilai-nilai yang tak mungkin tidak diliputi oleh akal. Kata kunci: kritik, kritikus, kualitas karya, seni tari.
