Abstract

One of the forms of worship ordered by Allah SWT is waqf, which in Islamic law means holding something for future use. Waqf is always expected to improve human welfare, therefore waqf must be maximized to achieve it. This research aims to find out how people living in Jalan Dayung 4, Sangata can live better if waqf management is optimized. To collect data in the field, this research uses interviews and documentation methods. In addition, a qualitative data analysis approach is used to collect and analyze data by starting from specific questions or facts to produce general conclusions. The results of the study show that optimizing productive waqf management can be done in several ways, one of which is by conducting partnerships. That is, the nadzir institution must carry out business cooperation between investors and capital owners who have an interest and similarity in doing waqf. Examples of partnerships that can be done are business investments with non-financial institutions and individual investments with sufficient capital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the institution in providing legal aid in divorce cases, as well as identifying the challenges faced and solutions that can be applied in providing legal aid in divorce cases in Sangatta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive technique of Miles and Huberman, which includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data verification to produce valid and credible findings. This research was conducted at LBH Suara Rakyat Kutim which is located at Jalan H Abdullah, Gang Pipos, Sangatta Utara Village, Sangatta Utara District, East Kutai and took place from August 2024 to February 2025. The results of the study show that: 1) The Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Suara Rakyat Kutai Timur (SRKT) has a very important role in providing legal aid in divorce cases, especially for the underprivileged. LBH SRKT not only plays a role in providing legal advocacy, assistance in the trial process, and drafting lawsuits, but also in improving public legal literacy through counseling and consultation. 2) LBH SRKT also faces a number of challenges in handling divorce cases, such as limited public legal knowledge, social stigma that prevents individuals from expressing their legal problems, and tensions between state law and customary law that affect the division of joint property and child custody. In facing these challenges, LBH SRKT has implemented various solutions, such as the establishment of Legal Aid Posts (Posbakum) and collaborating with religious courts and district courts to provide legal aid services that are more easily accessible to the public. This solution has proven effective in improving public legal understanding and accelerating the process of resolving divorce cases.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of transformational leadership and work compensation on employee productivity at the Land Office of East Kutai Regency. This type of research is classified as field research using a quantitative approach. This research uses complementary data collection techniques, namely the questionnaire technique to obtain research data through scoring from respondents, then the observation technique to directly observe activities taking place at the East Kutai Land Office, and finally the documentation technique to obtain additional supporting data needed in this research. The population in this study consists of 47 respondents, who are all employees of the East Kutai Land Office. Next, to analyze the data, the researcher used the multiple linear regression formula. The results of this study indicate that the transformational leadership variable has a positive but not significant effect on work productivity at the Kutai Timur Land Office by 15.1%. Furthermore, the work compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity at the East Kutai Land Office by 61%. Then, together, the transformational leadership variable and work compensation have a positive and significant impact on employee productivity at the East Kutai Land Office by 76.1%, while the remaining 23.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic financial literacy on people's interest in becoming customers at Bank Muamalat, Sangatta Utara District, East Kutai Regency. Islamic financial literacy is defined as people's understanding of financial principles in accordance with Islamic sharia, including knowledge of Islamic financial products and how to manage finances well. This study uses a quantitative approach with a data collection method through a questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents. The results of the study indicate that Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on people's interest in becoming customers. The simple linear regression test produces a regression coefficient of 0.823, which indicates that every one-scale increase in Islamic financial literacy will increase people's interest in becoming customers. In addition, the results of the T and F tests show that Islamic financial literacy has a significant effect on interest in becoming customers with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran strategis Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Kutai Timur dalam mengakselerasi program sertifikasi halal bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di Kecamatan Sangatta Utara. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif studi kasus dengan triangulasi pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipatif, dan analisis dokumentasi yang dilaksanakan dari November 2024 hingga Januari 2025, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi mekanisme dukungan institusional, kendala implementasi, dan peluang optimalisasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan tiga dimensi utama keterlibatan institusional: sosialisasi terintegrasi melalui program Sehati BPJPH, pendataan sistematis, dan pendampingan teknis komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberhasilan transformasi paradigma UMKM dari ketidaktahuan menuju kesadaran proaktif terhadap pentingnya sertifikasi halal, difasilitasi melalui optimalisasi sumber daya adaptif dan model pendampingan inovatif yang mengintegrasikan aspek teknis-syariah. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan struktural berupa keterbatasan kuota sertifikasi, kendala sumber daya manusia, dan kompleksitas proses verifikasi pusat, peluang strategis muncul melalui dukungan anggaran pemerintah daerah, kolaborasi LPPOM, dan kemitraan eksternal dengan STAI Sangatta. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada analisis komprehensif sinergi multi-stakeholder dalam pengembangan ekosistem sertifikasi halal regional, memberikan wawasan praktis bagi pembangunan kapasitas institusional dalam transformasi ekonomi halal berkelanjutan dengan implikasi signifikan terhadap pengembangan model ekonomi regional yang dapat dirujuk untuk implementasi program serupa.
