Abstract

In the modern age, technological advancements are undeniably progressing at a rapid pace. Throughout its rapid progress, technology has had an impact on various aspects of life, and education is one of the fields affected by it. In the context of technological advancement, both teachers and students acquire important skills known as computational thinking. Computational thinking refers to the ability to systematically solve problems using logical reasoning and step-by-step decision-making for problem-solving. Computational thinking has a direct relationship with students' mathematical learning, especially in the process of tackling mathematical problems. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of computational thinking on mathematics learning, with a specific focus on algorithm analysis in programming. The research methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of related literature to delve into the research topic, using a literature review method. The results of this research indicate that computational thinking can be measured using specific indicators that play a crucial role in mathematics learning. Students' ability to apply computational thinking techniques to solve mathematical problems can be determined based on indicators such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, algorithmic thinking, and generalization.

Abstract

This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) focusing on the application of the Branch and Bound (B&B) method in production optimization. In modern industry, achieving operational efficiency and profitability is essential, yet optimization often yields fractional solutions that are unrealistic for indivisible entities. The Branch and Bound method, as part of Integer Programming, has proven effective in addressing these constraints by converting fractional solutions into optimal integer values. This SLR analyzed 12 scientific articles published between 2016 and 2024, sourced from databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA. The analysis reveals that B&B is widely utilized to maximize production profit across various sectors, including spring beds, woven fabrics, bread, and furniture, often formulated as Integer Linear Programming (ILP) problems. Furthermore, this method is also applied to minimize production time and determine the shortest routes. Overall, B&B is a flexible and efficient tool that assists companies in managing resources and achieving maximum profit with realistic integer solutions.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a crucial pillar of the Indonesian economy, yet they often face significant constraints in marketing and branding, especially in rural areas with limited access. Reliance on traditional word-of-mouth promotion leads to a narrow market reach and low product competitiveness. This community service activity aims to empower the "Budin Keripik" MSME in Tempel Jaya Village, a home-based business operating since 2020, through the implementation of a comprehensive digital branding strategy. The implementation method adopted three main stages: planning, which included field observations and in-depth interviews with the owner to identify key problems such as the lack of visual identity and digital promotion; implementation, which focused on practical interventions like creating banners, designing a logo and packaging labels, setting up social media accounts (Instagram), and registering the business location on Google Maps to increase visibility; and mentoring, which involved technical training on digital promotion, content management, and the use of relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience. The intervention results show a significant positive impact, not only in material aspects like improved product visual appeal and broader marketing reach but also in non-material aspects such as an increase in the business owner's self-confidence in promotion. This initial success proves that digital branding is an effective and applicable strategy for enhancing the competitiveness of traditional MSMEs. However, the sustainability of this program faces challenges like limited capital for production scaling and a need for continuous development of digital literacy, thus requiring further support for long-term local economic strengthening.
